The hype surrounding this small sushi bar is absolutely well-deserved. We had the golden roll, a tuna roll and the salmon roll and they were fantastic. The owner treated us like family and the price made the experience one of the highest-value meals we've had. I can't recommend this sushi bar highly enough. Bravo and keep up the great work!

Best sushi I've ever had in my life, we were curious about the amazing reviews and decided to give it a shot...it didn't disappoint at all. The work from the chef speaks for itself, taste and presentation were above and beyond. The chef made us a special item off-menu and oh boy (see the picture yourself), we were delighted, plus his personal attention and of his staff were great. Come, let him surprise you and enjoy the experience.

Tried here tonight and it was absolutely wonderful. The owner leon is a legend, speaks English and recommended number 6 on the menu. It was some of the best sushi I've had in years! His home make sake is the best sake I've ever had(and I've tried many). Honestly, the full experience was brilliant. You should come here people.

Delicious sushi prepared by Chef Leon! All the ingredients are fresh and the presentation is perfect. We ate a lot but it was too good to stop 😁 it’s a family business and all of them are so nice and welcoming! We will definitely be back!! 🤗

I loved @sushisantamarta. I ate there two of my three nights in Santa Marta. Chef Leon was amazing and prepared delicious, fresh, creative samplers (chef’s choice) both nights. The coconut sake was also fantastic. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for a great experience.

Chef makes creative rolls. His passion for cooking shows in his dishes. He offered my party and I a shot of his home-brewed sake which was delicious. Will visit again if I'm ever back in Santa Marta.

Chef Leon is the best! He and his wife provided us with in intimate, fun and delicious sushi experience. Unique flavors, beautiful presentation and most importantly fresh fish!

It's good to find a proper sushi place, a nice change from the other restaurants around. Great food, great value and friendly English speaking chef and his family. If it were closer I'd eat there several times per week. Paid 26k plus tip for a Californian roll with avocado and crab. Mmmmm!
