I came in December and it was beautifully decorated with lights and a giant Pesebre

This is a must to visit if you are in Barranquilla. The perfect spot if you want to see the sunrise or if you want to feel the sunset. You can walk the whole Malecón while appreciating the impressive Magdalena River and its ecosystem. The infrastructure has kiosques and restaurants in case you want to try some traditional food or beverages. I felt safe, and there were usually police officers around. You don't need to pay and there are some parking spots available. I highly recommend it. It can be very breezy, however.

Excellent place to bike, walk, rollerblade

This is the new place in Barranquilla to relax, practice your favorite sports like basketball, football, including table tennis, biking or just walking along the more than 5 kms pathways. After that you can visit the new food court @caimandelrio. If you love the tradicional Asian dimsum, dumplings and ramen drop by at @deliasiabaq inside Caimán. Don't worry about the high temperature the icecream of @flordemaraca with local flavors is the solution.

A good place for a stroll with your kids or just a lazy walk. If you are sports oriented, then jogging will lift your soul. Also, have a snack, lunch, dinner or a drink at a cafe or restaurant.

It's a wonderful structure which has Barranquilla's history written on it with a lot of illustrations. Also you can take a lot of pics. It's very windy at night but I really liked it.

Such pretty place full of courts and activities to do

It's a magical place, the breeze is awesome and watching the sunset is the best! Thumbs up for this place great experience!

Montería is a beautiful city, clean, safe, great people, excellent restaurants and hotels...the Malecón and crossing the river on the River boats was a great experience...unforgetable
