Excellent tacos and burritos! I usually don't give 5 stars for quick food, but this place is an exception. The tacos and burritos are as good as any I've ever had, including from New Mexico and Arizona. Highly recommended!!! Next time I'll post food, it was so good I ate it before I realized no picture.

This place has a great burrito. I've only been one time, but the king steak burrito is delicious. I will definitely go back and try something else. They have lamb options which is unusual for burrito/taco places. They also have shrimp, and a lot of vegetarian options. The staff are friendly as well.

If I could give no stars I would. Staff terrible & rude, had questions on food prices they have online compared to actual price they hung up on me. Said no prices online or online menu Called back pick up hang up. Food not what it used to be, hair in my guacamole that they charge 6.50$ for rather then online price if 5$.

On my lunch break for work, I wanted to get some food for my coworker on myself. I stopped by a small restaurant in the heart of Barrington called Paul's Burrito Express. I'm gonna start with the positives of the restaurant, the biggest is the portion of food. It's a good bang for your buck. The customer service is good as well. The horchata was the best thing I ordered without a doubt. What could be improved-at least from my experience- the chimichangas was ok, the food was mislabeled... We each got a chimichanga, however the meat was different. The chimichanga I ordered was ground beef, however I ended up biting into the chicken. I am not crazy about rotisserie chicken so I can't say it was amazingly good. It was juicy which was nice. The torta that was ordered was also rotisserie chicken. The guacamole tasted a little off as did the salsa. It wasn't very spicy either. The Google menu is mostly accurate, however the chimichanga is a dollar more expensive. I may return some time in the future, but I will decide to wait a bit for that day.

Only Mexican restaurant that has not taken advantage of the economy to increase prices. Their prices are fair, good quality and the staff actually care.

Pauls is great. Love the salsas. Bacon chimichanga is my favorite guilty pleasure!

I ordered the chimichanga and the steak burrito and my expectations were blown away. I was driving through Barrington and I saw people entering the establishment so I thought I would give them a shot. The smell of fresh corn tortillas hits you when you go to order. There is a variety of different meat choices to choose from for your burrito, taco, or torta etc. Many drink options as well. The chicken is very tender. The sauces are really good. I wish they served hot sauce but otherwise it is a very good establishment.

Paul's never disappoints. We have a pretty standard order. A couple of steak tacos, a couple of chorizo tacos, and a fish taco dinner. The tacos are a perfect size and always tasty. The rice and beans are pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. They used to make mistakes when calling in an order but the last 4 or 5 times it has been perfect. The restaurant can be a little cold in the winter so we will often carryout on those days. There is not a lot of parking behind the lost but there is plenty of street parking across the street. We will continue to order this delicious food.

We pass this little spot all of the time and thought we would give it a try. It was pretty freaking magnificent! So glad we gave it a shot. Hate the parking lot but love the food and customer service :)
