Nice place. We were there for a post funeral supper and everything was very nice. Staff were great. Pasta and chicken were very good. Didn't care much for the dessert but it was visibly beautiful. It was a tough day for everyone but no problems from the restaurant. Thanks everyone.

Ivan did a fantastic job serving my girlfriend and I. The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Very impressed by the ambiance and atmosphere in and around the restaurant. Will absolutely come back the next time I’m in Barrington.

Wonderful place to eat!!! This place has a great outdoor space to eat. My wife and I get away from the kids to relax and enjoy a date, this is our spot of choice. Just visited and our waitress Virginia brought out the chef to help us to recreate a dish on one of the previous menus, that changes monthly. Food, drinks, and service are top notch!! Highly recommended!!!

An amazing restaurant. Their food is delicious. We ordered the salmon and it was just the best I’ve had at any restaurant so far! Some of our friends were vegetarian and the pastas were made to accommodate their needs. The owner was extremely sweet and kind! I would definitely go there again!

I was here the other day for a family gathering. everything was on point but something that really stood out was the Food Runner, I believe her name is Cindy. Cindy did an amazing job running out our plates. She’s very organized & proper in her work. Great service, an amazing attitude & great menu knowledge. She answered the questions we had about ingredients in a dish & also gave great recommendations for the next time we visit. We will definitely be coming back!

What a great local place. We tried everything. Ordered lentil salad, beet salad, bronzino, risotto, chicken, and desserts. Everything was delish. I even got Angels Envy rye neat. Could not have been better. Ivan was our server and he was great! The atmosphere was a blast. Familial but not in your face. Relaxed and fun! I recommend this place over and over again

Mia Francesca has been my pick when it comes to italian traditional food for a long time. We used to go to the one on the Northside of Chicago for over 15 years. Today I had my car serviced at a Barrington dealer nearby, so I went to Francesca's Famiglia for lunch. And,boy,it didn't disappoint! I had the rigatoni with eggplant from the lunch menu and it was exceptional! The pasta was perfectly cooked,eggplant very tender and fresh mozzarella complimented the creamy and mildly spicy sauce. Mouth watering as always. Very good service and the place is extremely clean. Would definitely come again!!!

We love it here. If you want quality, fresh, and just really good Italian, you have to try Francesca. My brother had his wedding reception here, and we’ve been coming here (a bit if a drive from buffalo grove) ever since then. Amazing food, exceptional service. Our server Virginia was amazing as always- her recommendations are always on point! Thank you, Virginia for the complimentary dessert for our birthday lunch! (tiramisu is also super delicious!)

First time being here. Excellent food & service, especially our server Virginia. She was very sweet & very patient with us (was here with my niece from Japan & needed to translate things here & there). We filled up our tummies with our lunch, we couldn’t have dessert 🥺 Gotta come back here for dessert!!! Lastly, thank you Virginia for your great service ♥️

Mother’s Day brunch was amazing! Great spread with something for everyone. The prime rib was my favorite. And our server Ivan did a great job as well. Very attentive and didn’t forget a thing.

We have been coming here for years and have always had a good experience with service and food quality. Things were very different last night. I chose Francesca's to celebrate my birthday. There was much left to be desired. We sat for awhile and after not being greeted I called the manager over. He apologized and let us know that the kitchen was backed up and ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Not sure what the kitchen backup had to do with a server never greeting us. Once we finally met our server we ordered and pretty much only saw her two times after we ordered. She visited the tables around us serving up birthday desserts and drinks etc. but it was as if she forgot we were even there. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we weren't served our food until 9:00pm. Needless to say, I didn't stick around to even enjoy a birthday dessert because I was so irritated by the service. Food was generally good, however my husbands meal which he orders every time we go was very bland. Bummer that my birthday was less than ideal. Sidenote: Danny reached out after seeing this review and was very apologetic and made things right. I appreciate him taking the time to do that.

Virginia took such good care of us. She is so kind and personable…as a brown woman i felt seen and safe. . And this is before we get to the food and wine. Delicious. Great ambiance. Enjoyed the whole vibe. Love this place and will be back again. Had a great time!!

Virginia, our waitress, went above and beyond to make my mother’s birthday personalized and an exceptional experience. She was so friendly and accommodating. The food was delish! We had the pasta at vodka sauce and it was so good; we also had the special - ravioli with mushrooms - and it was perfect! Highly recommend this recommend this restaurant and waitress.

We had a great dinner at Fracesca’s in Barrington. Our server Virginia knew the menu backwards and forwards - had great suggestions and gave us everything timely, then just let us enjoy our meal and the fun company. We saved some room for dessert - see picture! All of our pasta dishes and the amazing desserts were fantastic. Fun evening!

We had my daughter's bridal shower at Francesca's in Barrington. It was wonderful! The room and the set up. The meal was Delicious and our Servers were so accommodating and friendly! Ordered a complete Thanksgiving dinner to go. Order was perfect, food was hot, delicious, beautiful and generous! This made our Thanksgiving day stress free and completely enjoyable.

First time in Francesca's Famiglia and YOU have to go! The Chicken Parm 🤤! IT WAS FIRE!! The service I received by server Olga was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. She made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service.

We used Francesca's Famiglia for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. My mother-in-law had easy communication with booking the room and getting everything she needed for the day of the dinner. We did appetizers, drinks, and desserts and it was all so delicious! The staff were great and the room set up with it being a beautiful night to utilize the outside was just perfect!

Food was expensive and not very tasty unfortunately. The appetizer was decent, the ricotta brueschette. The farfalle pasta was not good. My husband got the salmon, and he said that was okay as well. The flavors were just not there in any of the dishes unfortunately. Will not be coming back.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Francesca’s last night. We had a party of 8, including two kids, and Virginia and Miguel made it a fantastic experience! They were attentive, friendly and personable. The food was delicious, especially the desserts! If you’re in Barrington, I would definitely recommend!

The service was good. Portions of dishes were very small. I ordered risotto with shrimp and had only 4 shrimps. Additionally, presentation could also be better. My husband had ravioli, it was small portion as well. Atmosphere was really loud, it was very hard to have a conversation during dinner. Finally the bill was high.

Our service tonight was over the top. We really wanted to eat outside but they weren’t doing outdoor dining, so they gave us our own private room. Our server Ivan was efficient, friendly, and helpful. I would give 5 stars except that I’ve had much better vodka sauces.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The food is phenomenal. Authentic, fresh and delicious. Not to mentioned the service. Virginia is astonishing, she is very attentive, friendly, fun and knowledgeable of everything that is on the menu. The wait staff is also very friendly. Eric, the manager will make you feel right at home. All around awesome experience. If you are hesitant of visiting this establishment here is your sign to go. You will not be disappointed.
