Have come away with my family for a week away in The Lakes to celebrate my birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. My daughter arranged a Tesco delivery for between 5pm and 6pm at a total cost of nearly £300. It is now after 7pm and still no delivery. Having chased Tesco, their answer is that the driver ran out of driving time and therefore our delivery will not be made! We explained to Tesco that we are in a holiday cottage and need this delivery tonight especially as they have already taken the money from my daughter's account. Their answer was that they could not do anything to help but would let us have a £20 voucher! Needless to say, we are not happy and feel very let down by their despicable and appalling customer service.

This Miserable lot shut down their fresh fish, fresh meat, and deli takeaway counters. Wanted to be the retailer for everything? Didn't work out did it? I used to do ALL my shopping at Tesco. No, literally..... ALL my weekly shop. I must have spent thousands and thousands over the years! But over the last year or so I've found myself migrating to rival stores. So much so, that I mostly shop elsewhere now. Just half a mile down the road there's a Morrison's store. And guess what?... They have a Fresh Fish counter. AND a Deli counter. AND a Fresh Meat counter. Obviously other stores CAN provide what customers want. Even Asda has a build your own pizza counter! Unfortunately Tesco appears to put profits above customer satisfaction. AND, they continue to embarass themselves by having "Aldi price match" price stickers on the shelves. Hey thanks Tesco, I'll cut out the middle man and go to Aldi instead. YOUR LOSS Tesco! Own it!

Having done my big Christmas shop my app wouldn't open up to scan my barcode so I mist out on £27.80. I call at the customer service department and was help to get my app open to scan and was refunded to my account the full amount. I would just like to say a big thank you to the member of staff who delt with me yesterday. Tesco has the best and friendly staff. Am glad I made the swop to shop at Tesco many months ago from morrisons.

Coffee machine regularly out of order. Inform staff, and told nothing to do with them. Few cash payment tills which are regularly out of order. Staff member on till short hanged me. When I asked for the correct change she could not work out the school child calculation in her head. Male staff member marking down late date cake prices lost his temper and shouted at me over nothing. A female staff member lost her cool and was rude when I asked about ready reader spectacles. The store really needs to up its customer service.

Big store, lots of products - and a lovely escalator! If you are looking for a great selection of food, veg, drinks and household products this is the place to come. Spacious and bright with friendly staff always willing to assist. Prices aren't too bad either! On-site parking is handy and easily accessible.
