Managers need retraining for customer interaction not very personable or courteous or professional

So I normally don't post reviews but I was extremely disgusted. I arrived at the Popeyes place my order everything was fine I ended up getting back home which is on the other side of town finding out that my spicy chicken sandwich was no longer inside of the bag and I called spoke with Ray he explained to me that he apologizes for the inconvenience and if I come in he's willing to give me a cheesecake or blueberry cream pie I explained to him I didn't want any of that I just wanted the chicken sandwich my wife is pregnant and I wouldn't have even came back if I thought that I wouldn't get beat up hahaha but I arrived at the Popeyes and when I arrived I spoke to the young man at the front register he looked at me up and down and said Ray someone's here for you Ray said all the spicy chicken the young man asked again do you want me to make it Ray said yeah go ahead I guess ultimately they were a bit rude the young man made the chicken sandwich so fast it was extremely sloppy per the pictures and I was dissatisfied that's why they are receiving this review I love Popeyes and I hope that they can fix things by paying attention to their orders and their presentation

Employees using the same gloves they were touching raw chicken with and not washing hands. Do not eat here. Managers are also the worst. Horrible attitude, bad food, don’t eat here

Food is definitely good and of course drive thru is fast.. but at the end of the day 28$ and some change for 1 and a half meals is outta control.. i definitely need to start taking my own lunch to work 🤣 it is crazy now of days to hear and pay 29$ for 2 basic meals.. i thought i night an entire chicken with that cost

Such a poor experience!! They were out of almost everything. Also, they messed up my order and very rude!! Poor customer service and rude staff. I don’t recommend this Popeyes!! Staff needs more training on customer service.

The chicken was dry and chewy. The service was good. The restaurant was filthy in the kitchen area. And the parking lot was filled with people asking for money and wandering around the vehicles. Creepy.

There was a lady working at the front who was frankly very rude. I didn’t catch her name but we came in around 8:20 pm. The boy working with her was kind and always had a nice smile, but the lady just left a very sour taste in our mouth and we likely won’t be stopping here again. However as long as she’s not working you should be fine. The bathrooms are just a little sketchy.

Those 12 piece chicken nuggets and sweet tea was amazing. But I had to take two stars off because the manager gave me the food at the drive thru and she forgot to give me the apple pie that I ordered. Not worth the drive back on my lunch break, but I really had my heart out for that apple pie. #sweettooth

This location likes to close early without notice and say that it's for maintenance reasons. Not very professional when your hours are from a time to a certain time. Sounds more like a case of someone wants to go home early if you ask me. They are always out of items as well such as honey or butter Or sauces. Be sure to check your bag before you leave because they leave items out as well. Wish I could leave a better review!

Order taker was insistent about banging out a beat on the counter and cash register even though I asked him twice to stop because I couldn't hear what he was saying. Mac and cheese had been in warmer for hours on end as it was shrunken and congealed. Didn't even bother to ask Mr. Personality to change it out. Sure it would have been a hassle. This location fails miserably!

Beware of the drive thru, they forget to put the dessert in your bag. They do this 1/2 the time I have been there. Aways check your bag before driving away. I asked specifically today if the apple pies were in my bag, was said yes and THEY WERE STILL NOT IN THERE!!!!!

Ordered the 8 piece family meal it came with one large side and 4 biscuit. I ordered spicy/original chicken wings and a large red beans and rice. They forgot to add hot sauce. Other than that everything was good. The spicy chicken seemed fresher than the original chicken.

if you realy2 starving…. find another food court…

On our way to Vegas, Barstow is the halfway point for us, 2 1/2 hours. We pulled into the Popeyes driv thru, waited in line for 10 minutes. No one ever took our order, someone was yelling at us in the parking lot to drive up to the window, it was a staff from Popeye's. We drove up to the window and still no one took our order or even acknowledged we were parked in front of the pick up window. After 7 more minutes of waiting to order, we drove off, Popeye's staff was outside chit chatting with other people the parking lot. So ghetto, so unprofessional. Never again will we go to that Popeye's. We don't recommend it to anyone. It was a very negative experience. It didn't even deserve a 1 star rating but I had to rate it to put a review.

The visit was okay I guess. I rarely eat fried foods. But today since we were driving home and hungry we stopped in. The prices immediately blew our minds. Two 2 PC combo $27 !!!!! Because they are between California and Nevada. Barstow has higher prices for gas and now food I guess.

The food and service here is great. But the atmosphere surroundings is just a S-hole. Don't know why this city especially this spot can gather so many rude drivers, maybe normal drivers turned bad when they are here and get back to normal after leaving?

The Popeyes in town by the McDonald's station is very delicious and very quick. My favorite thing to order there are the black and tenders with the black and ranch for anyone who's looking to try any food. A few years ago this Popeyes wasn't really worth visiting to eat at but over time they've improved on the quality of their food.

Went through drive thru for the first time here and it was really quick and I got my order perfectly!!!

I was just passing through and thought I would stop and get a bite to eat, I asked if the chicken n fries had just come up and she replied yes.. should have checked. Got on the road and everything was cold , so I had a long ride with cold food until my next stop 😑

We waited almost 25 minutes for our order while others were handed their food as they were done paying. 2 combos chicken nuggets and tenders. Nothing special. The chicken and biscuits were really good and they gave us extra to make up for the wait but the mashed potatoes and gravy were disgusting and I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth.

I get there at 10:40 pm, just wanting a drink. The automate message says they were already closed. Their hours state that they close at 11 pm. I guess being open till 11pm is more of a guideline then a rule. Went to McDonalds instead.

They have a sign by the order counter that advertised 5 piece dinner for 2 at 12.99. Started to order that and was told I had to have a code. Told the cashier it doesn't say that anywhere. Was told I couldn't get it without a code. Will never go again.

Chicken was great breast meat. Beans were spicey. Biscuit was hard no butter given in drive thru.

Gave me the wrong order and the food I gotten was horrible. The taste was not pleasant.Wasted my money☹️

I love Popeyes so thos pains me. I asked for a 36 piece nugget he ran my cc and then I noticed it was a 24 pc. I told him the mistake and he had to ask a manager. She said oh we will add a 12 PC and it will be the same price. They did and it was not the same price. They charged me $1 more the the 36 pc. Not a big deal. 36pc is $15.99 / 24pc is $10.99 / 12 PC is $5.99. after I showed them the math they basically said the order is in and no refunds. I asked for a drink to settle the different and they fought me on that to and then said ok and handed me a small kids drink. Hahahahahhaha so dumn!!!

Forgot dipping sauce . And both sides with my 5 pc tender meal . Asked for lemonade and got sweet tea. My buddy James shrimp meal tasted as if it was microwaved . Very unprofessional in drive thru. Someone is getting paid wayy too much than what they deserve never again will I eat at this Popeyes . Not the first time this has happend

This was the first time my family had ever had Popeyes. The only reason I gave 1 star was because the food was decent. That was the only saving grace of this place. My daughter's and my mother both went into the restroom and couldn't believe the mess. Sinks were disgusting. The large waste baskets in the bathroom was overflowing. There was a dirty diaper left on the changing station. Toilet paper was all over the place. Before eating, my sister n law asked for a rag to wipe off the tables because none of them were clean enough to eat at. I'm surprised we were even able to keep an appetite because of how filthy it was. When told about the bathroom, the gal was just interested in taking our orders. When we asked for a rag to clean, the girl/mgr mentioned they were short staffed that day. I understand this under the circumstances the world has been in the last few yrs, but that's no excuse to let the facility get as gross and repulsive as it was. I'm surprised they passed the health department standards. Will never go back there. Would rather get bit by a gilla monster than to force ourselves to eat this again.

There's a big difference between Popeye branch here in barstow and in the Philippines. Happy tummy to have ordered shrimp meal with biscuit and fries. It has a crunchy texture and its tasty. Must try their biscuits.
