Dennys at Barstow was far fresher than many “diners” in the area with better options. You have a basic concept and this concept is simple & good “American food” — Denny’s has got that down. Their servers are hard working and while they may get slammed from time to time they manage to be charismatic. Even when the kitchen makes mistakes. The food is what you can expect from Denny’s if it’s anything it’s certainly consistent.

It's just one star because it isn't possible to give zero stars. I had to wait more than 40 minutes and in the end the broccoli and the cheese was completely cold. Additionally the service was terrible: During the 40min wait the waiters never came back to our table that we could refill our drinks. After I got my meal it takes not even 10min until a waitress came to give me the bill. So 40min without any service and then less than 10min until they bring you a receipt! After our dinner we went to Panda Express 50m away to have an edible dish. Edit: Tomato ketchup was good!

This review is for the new Mac N' Brisket Sizzlin' Skillet. For $20 you get 2 scoops of mac and cheese, some Brisket, 3 onion rings, and a quick dash of BBQ sauce. Denny's....like...what is this? For $20? Just look at the picture attached at the bottom. For perspective, the whole plate is about the size of both my hands next to each other(I got small hands BTW 😄). I almost cried when they gave me my plate. The biggest thing that jumped out at me immediately was like...yo...did Jesus part this mac and cheese in the middle like the river? Who made this? 😆 This supposed to be $20 mac and cheese. Its like $8

Was passing through and decided to stop in. Had a 55+ meal and dessert, which I rarely have. Both were great. Service was prompt and attentive. The place started to get busy while I was there. I was impressed with Pauline, my server. Even though busy, she always let the customers know that she will be right with them. She was efficient, smiled, and was very nice. She easily could have worked at a high-end restaurant. She deserves a raise.

Went to eat at Denny's in Barstow California. Very busy as they just reopened . Was seated quickly with no hassles . Customer service was great, the server was prompt, areas were clean, they require masks 6 feet distancing. Food was good and very good price. I would go back again.

Best Dennys I have ever eaten at Super service and the food was prepared well. I had Grand Slam all gluten free. Bacon, eggs,,hash browns, gluten free English Muffin were great.

Probably one of the best Denny's I've ever been to. I normally wouldn't write a review for a chain, but the staff was excellent. We had such great service. Definitely stop here on your way through if you're hungry.

Waitress was very lovely. He was super friendly and very tentative to our drinks. Food came promptly. Burger was a little under cooked but they remade it super fast and the waitress was supper about it! John made our vacation extra memorable. He made it feel like we where dining at grandfather's place ♥️

Took my guys to Dennys for late lunch. My electrician picked 2 items from the value menu: $4 Triple play breakfast & $8 Classic burger. The property manager got $8 Chopped Steak dinner. I ordered the Crazy Spicy skillet. No queso. Free refills on the strawberry lemonade!

Decent food. Service was great. Very attentive and helpful. Was more expensive than I remember from past visits. Wasn’t worth the price.

For a chain that's usually closed to the freeway this visit at this location was excellent because of the Spanish waitress. She was efficient and always with a big smile. The Denver omelet at about $14 was hot and plentiful, stomach filling and good.

Once again I decided to visit a Denny's predominantly run by Hispanic and once again I couldn't help but notice how long it took B4 someone tended to me while others around didn't wait half as long. My waitress was kind and I left a decent tip but I can't help but wonder if my African phenotype played a role in my service.

Food was sooooo amazing our server was extremely friendly it's so nice to see workers that enjoy their job these salted caramel pancakes are amazing

We were seated for 30 minutes and they couldn't even offer us a cup of coffee, we told them that they hadn't taken our order and they told us that they would do it in a moment and 10 more minutes passed and we had no response, the restaurant was not full and there were enough staff. The attention was bad.

The meals were amazing, our server was very busy but made sure we had everything we needed. Being busy sometimes means that they can forget a thing or two, she had forgotten our side of hash browns but after a reminder she was on point to make sure it was brought to us quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating. The restrooms need some cleaning and more attention. For the most part it was a pretty great experience, thank you all!

My visit to this Denny's location was very pleasant. There was a very calm and quiet atmosphere. Our server Tremaine was delightful. She got all our orders right and was very accommodating. Overall, a pleasant visit.

Food and service was absolutely amazing!! Mrs.Sandra service was outstanding she always checked up on us and made sure we were good to go at all time. They sat us down asked for our drinks and brought them right away. Id rate them a 10/10. Bathroom were clean along with the rest of the restaurant.

Went in waited about 20 minutes to receive even drinks and for server to introduce herself would understand if everyone around us wasn't already greeted and had drinks even those who came after us. Some of the staff had bad attitudes, if you don't want to do the job fine. Meal incorrect and when informed about it the manager apparently was didn't know ther difference between over hard and over medium.

Stopped by at this Denny’s for a little break on our 6-hour drive back home in the middle of the night. Bathroom was clean! Also bought coffee and appreciated Samantha’s excellent customer service and ability to be efficient, friendly, helpful, and kind at 3:30 am.! Impressive!

Wonderful food and people! My order was perfect this time! Love the food! Even have a doggy bag to go! I would totally recommend the strawberry crepes! They are to die for.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Dennys on this morning. The coffee and food were hot and good. The service by waitress Cherish was excellent. She took our pictures and gave us courteous service. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. My overall rating for this establishment is excellent. Thank you. I'll be back!

Very good, place busy but they were on top of it nice and food good

Tried the chicken biscuit bowl with English muffins and eggs on top. Really enjoyed and would order again. They have $2 pie that is amazing and plentiful. Had the cookies and cream pie with Oreo crust and lots of cookie chunks added on top. Rebecca was very pleasant and helped me decide on a meal as menu is quite varied. Good food served with a smile. My family and I had a nice and quiet dinner here. The food was good and the portions perfect. We especially wanted to take the time to give a review to thank our server John (we believe), who was extremely kind and helpful (and his kindness felt so genuine and real which isn’t always the case). People like him just make your day better !

I have dinner here every couple weeks to meet up with a best friend and get to catch up. John had been our waiter every time and keeps us coming back due to his amazing service!!! We always take the table for awhile so we can sit and talk and he is always so very kind and patient. He makes fresh coffee for us and just doesn't rush is in any way. Thank you John for being awesome, it is super appreciated!
