We had very bad experience with our hotel stay. We had overnight stayed and stayed in hotel for 12 hours. Once we checked in, we found that bathroom door doesn't lock, and it was immediately to the front office. I did not get any kind of support from the staff. I again reported in the morning hours, and we checked out updating the staff. From the credit statement I saw $250 deducted from my account. I called the hotel and they said I damaged the TV. This came as big Suprise to us as we haven't used the TV in first place. I spoke to the general Manager and sorry to say that it's my worst experience with the hotel staff. This was during the Memorial Day long weekend. During our trip we stayed in 4 different hotels, and this is the worst experience we had. I, highly recommend not to consider this hotel. There are other good hotels in that city. Thanks Pramod

5 stars , it's kind of arbitrary. But this chain is very consistent , the rooms are clean, the staff helpful. I have stayed at other hotels where the name on the sign didn't mean there was a standard, the place may be old or new or a poorly conceived re-model . Holiday Inn Express has always delivered a nice room with clean sheets and decent clean furniture, I've never felt like someone forgot to clean something there...

The "warm indoor pool" was clean, but ice cold. Unfortunately it was not usable for those of us who were looking for a nice relaxing swim after a long drive. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is definitely just a "pass by and rest" type of hotel at this moment. Brought our autistic patient here as our first stop on his vacation before Vegas and although the place is pretty clean, the night service was very disappointing. Asked an employee in the front for an extra pillow and blanket since I had none to sleep with because we were in a 1 bed room with 3 people (all they had available at the time) and was told they didn't have ANY clean ones in the hotel (at all) and was forced to use towels as pillows instead. Was told they would bring one to my room when available and never did. This place absolutely has potential to be better and would love to give it another chance in the future but would be wary of my stay.

Billed for a broken TV that we did not break ! Hate to give even 1 star. Just for 1 nights stay ,we had to go through such a horrible stay experience, starting with the bathroom door which cannot be closed to low water pressure in the shower. We reported this and they said it can fixed only next day after 9.. All we wanted during our stay was a good nights sleep and a shower but this hotel was the worst and never had such a bad experience in the previous hotels we stayed. Adding on to it after a week they call to say that we damaged their TV and We were charged for a broken TV which we did not use .. regret staying here for such a terrible experience..

Nice area with several restaurants within walking distance. King-sized bed with full bathroom. Microwave and fridge. Iron and ironing board. Looks to be a 32-inch TV. Ice machine down the hall. Quiet room with A/C and heating.

The staff was very helpful, room was clean, towels were washed, water was warm, hotel was quiet at night… nothing more needed. They do a great job here!

This was the eighth time I have stayed at this hotel; 5-stars every other time. Sadly disappointed this time though. Called before making the reservation and asked "Are your pool and hot tub working" reply was 'Yes.' "Are your pool and hot tub heated?" reply was "Yes." Upon arrival; Hot tub was broken & pool was close to 50 degrees -- no I didn't have a thermometer -- it was cold enough the my family of four and the family of three who came at the same time we arrived would not use it. Other than that; rooms are always clean and so are the bathrooms. Very nice service people as always. We will be back unless we run into another visit like this.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful from the moment you walk into the lobby. After a long 13 hours on the road this hotel was easy to find right off the freeway, it is centrally located to many eateries and gas stations. Checking in, customer service was not friendly but the rooms are very nice and clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a great selection of cold/hot items, customer service in Checking out was great. Overall a great place to stay and I would highly recommend

Nice enough hotel and friendly staff. Have stayed Ayers hotels before and always been satisfied. While I would recommend I feel it is not as nice as others I have stayed at, but still recommend and would stay there again.

Like the updates into the rooms. Very well done. Love this hotel because it is a walking distance to the outlet, Starbucks, and Chillis.

The price was absolutely ridiculous. It was a Wednesday/Thursday at almost 2am. I had called four other hotels and there were no available rooms. I was thankful that Ayers had a room but, I paid $161, which I was told was a discounted price when I asked about a AAA discount. When I entered the room the air conditioner was set at 61°. The outside temperature was in the 40's. There were no extra blankets. The bed was to hard. I woke up several times trying to get comfortable. I just wanted a nice place to lay my head and get some much needed rest. Overall, the room was very clean. The staff was adequate. The parking was a challenge. The price was extremely disappointing... especially taking into consideration that I didn't get the rest I was needing.

My family stayed for several days and enjoyed the hotel. Breakfast buffet was extremely delicious. Will recommend the Ayres to all.

Practical location and suitable room with good beds. Major markdowns for the lack of hot water in the shower, the fact that warm items never showed up for breakfast, and the rather unfriendly staff at check-in. Better options nearby at this price level.

I stayed there a few weeks ago with my grandson. He had a ball with there complimentary breakfast. A lot of items to choose from. It is nice that they are still serving breakfast as I have been to other hotel stay’s and they have taken away these amenities due to Covid. My grandson enjoyed the indoor pool. It was nice to just relax and enjoy ourselves without having to leave the place. Lunch and dinner was a walking distance at Chili’s next door. Thank you for a great hospitality service.

Rooms could use updating but the staff more than make up for the dated rooms. The rooms need more receptacles, especially in the bedrooms. The checkin process was super warm and fast thanks to Hannah manning the front desk. Very pleased with it all.

The good - the room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel was very nice and modern. The location was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The bad - the hotel advertised a heated pool but the water was freezing. The bed/mattress was not particularly comfortable for my taste.

The hotel was fine. The best part was Chili's was less than 30 yards from the hotel front entrance. The room was ok except the shower was dirty and the heater / A/C unit fan was extremely loud!! Would return but hope they do a better job on the cleaning and maintenance. If same thing happens again then won't return.

We would likely endeavor to locate a different hotel for future trips but would accept if other hotels were not available. The overall important cleanliness of our room was very good. The breakfast was typical for this type of highway hotel. The breakfast room was nice. The service when checking in was unacceptable. We were happy to arrive when we walked through the entry and left the front desk worried about what more disappointments were yet to come. The desk clerk was not happy to see us and seemed to be bothered by every one of our two questions. When making our reservation when we directly called the hotel we were told they had electric vehicle charging, they do not. There are nearby Tesla only superchargers but when asking about other car chargers they said they know nothing as if we were asking about what the next Fed rate change was going to be. Amazing for these times and concern for our environment. Generally we do not recommend this hotel but we would not dissuade you either. Also, it is a little expensive for this rating.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot! The comfort, cleanliness, and staff were top notch. The gal that checked us in was really nice and knew her way around the hotel. She was a pleasure to work with when it came to the amenities. It's easy to see that this is not a large chain hotel. They care about the people who stay and want you to enjoy your visit. We will be back next time we come to California!
