Under renovations no one said a word about it until I got confirmation for the room then it was the very last thing on the bottom of the email. Picked this one because it has big truck parking but it was full of containers. So I had to park across the street in a very rough dirt lot. Had just spent 150.00 dollars to get the truck washed and now it looks almost like it did. Love your hotels just need a little more info. I would have just picked another property.

For convenience its okay. As far as the rooms, breakfast and amenities go I give it 2 stars. The rooms are dated, tiles in our bathroom were loose, hot water took 15 minutes to heat up. TV is from mid 2000s and the rooms haven't been updated at all. Our room was loud when you walked around causing concern for other guests. Beds were hard and lumpy. We booked 2 rooms and both were identical. Breakfast was just okay, normal waffle maker and some fake eggs with biscuits and gravy. It seems that the owners updated the entry way to make it appear as though it was updated but that's as far as it went. 2 stars is the max I can give this.

The Hotel manager failed miserably in preventing an intrusion during the middle of the night in early morning hours by allowing construction Crews to conduct operations within feet of occupied rooms. This involved power tools making noise for a 3-hour period preventing guests from getting a good night's sleep. Which is a basic service of a hotel. The reception staff and housekeeping were excellent as it was clear that they continue to perform their functions very well!

Our 4-person family just checked out of our room after a one night stay. This hotel was extremely clean and well run, which is hard to find in Barstow. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, beds were clean and comfortable, showers had good water pressure, and it was quiet overnight. Free hot breakfast was well stocked with lots of options (eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, cereal, waffles, etc.) Will definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

Typically excellent Hampton Inn experience--clean, spacious, well appointed rooms, very good free breakfast. A few restaurants are within walking distance, which was a treat after driving all day. We used the Hilton app to check in and as a room key, so we had no interactions with staff. I'm knocking off a star simply because we thought our room was overpriced compared to what we paid at other hotels in the region.

Stayed here multiple time in the past but suddenly the open desert area right across the road has turned into an ATV race track. Dusty, very noisy and obnoxious, well into the night. Pretty tragic, we will stay elsewhere next time.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times. Breakfast is wonderful every morning, always a little variation. To Go bag breakfast available as well. Location is wonderful, in the backyard of the quiet Outlets. 4 stars because fitness center is very small (they recently added a Peleton Bike) and coffee machines are in the bathroom. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t want to drink coffee from a machine that was within a short distance to a toilet.

So far so good I will be staying with them for 30 days. First impressions are good... FYI they are remodeling so parking isn't that great.

Yesi and Maria made our stay so easy and pleasant. Thank you both for helping 2 weary travelers during insane weather. I hope your superiors know what assets they have in you both.

The front desk agent, Yesi was awesome. She is a very pleasant and customer oriented person. She kept a smile on all throughout our short conversations. She really made my day and my stay excellent. I couldn't ask for more. The hotel is also very clean and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed one night here. Due to some changes in our plans, we were unable to give advance notice. We still were able to get 2 rooms at great rates. The hotel is really nice and our rooms were great! I especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub! Great experience totally.

Good for an overnight travel stay. Good towels and comfortable bed. Good pillows, which I commonly dislike at hotels. The shower was very basic but did did the job. There is some construction going on (were some rooms trashed? Of course I don't know) Free Breakfast was as expected. Just what we needed when traveling. My husband likes the 2 chilled water bottles upon check-in.

She’s old but don’t let her fool ya (plus they are in the process of renovating currently so I’m sure she will be gorgeous soon!) I only care about 2 things when I book a hotel: is it clean and is it safe to leave my car parked here without worrying about break ins. And yes this place ticks all the boxes.

The bed and pillows are uncomfortable, and everything in the room and the bathroom just looked old and dirty. The layout was also really strange as they put a shelf with the coffee, kettle and cups in the bathroom. The worst thing was the air conditioning. It was extremely loud, and it had a weird rattling noise. Besides that it took forever to warm up the room. I started it around 2 AM with max Temp (90F) and fan, and it was until 6 AM that I'm no longer freezing. Even after 6 it felt like the room temperature never got higher than 70F. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night, and for $130 I expected more than this. The regular check out time is 12 PM, and they let me do a late checkout at 2, which was nice. Still I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I expected the hotel to be nicer than it was. Felt like I was at motel 6 rather than at a Hampton. The lady at the reception was nice but house keeping people were rude and rushed me out at 9am. I won't be staying there again.

Breakfast good! Front desk people are nice! But the rooms are old and not comfortable. Pillows and beds are hard. They should wash the linings of pillows and sheets better so that they smell good.

Been coming to this hotel with frequency. Basically the only decent hotel in Barstow. The rooms are decent. I would say that it does need a big updating, but it is Al of better than some of the neighboring options. I really wish they would change the blankets to something less itchy. Breakfast is okay. Your standard assortment of eggs, waffles, potatoes and sausages. They have cereals, yogurts, and breads as well. I appreciate the business center, as a person who does travel to work and has to occasionally print and copies (no FedEx office here). For those who pack clothes but still need to do laundry, the hotel does have a guest laundry! Thank heavens! They do sell detergent, but lately I have been bringing my own detergent and do a wash. This hotel does satisfy my needs for the most part, just wish the Hampton Inn and Suite would have the amenities of a Hilton Garden Inn or DoubleTree.

We love Hampton inn & suites always has everything we need from refrigerator to microwave comfortable beds and breakfast in the morning. They also have military discounts for veterans whether you retired or still serving they take good care of you. Also when you register they have fresh baked cookies for free. Definitely love the breakfast oatmeal waffles cereal muffins bananas apples they have quite a bit and you can fill up your thermos for the road with their coffee or teas. The rooms are great and the price is great.

Very nice, clean hotel - would stay there again. We were greeted by Kim at the front desk, she was very friendly and helpful. Exactly what a weary traveler needs. She upgraded our room because of our HHonors status. Went over the local dinner options with us when we asked. Great suite, clean and roomy. Towels need to be upgraded, they are thin and not soft. Breakfast was the usual fare but the breakfast area is bright and well decorated. Plenty of coffee urns. Every staff member greeted us with a “Good morning”.

It's great for a stop after a late flight into LAX. Rooms were clean, and I really loved how comfortable the beds were. Breakfast was just what we needed before heading off for our trip

Same as "Eric". Not up to Hampton Inn standards. Drapes were old & with holes. Room was dusty, TV dated, 2 towels total, outdated furnishings. Bed comfortable. Linens pilled. Shower head old and low water spray. Sorry. Just time for a remodel.

This was yet another great stay at this Hotel. We love the in suite hot tub. After a long day of travel, it really is nice to take a private soak. I love the large private balcony too. The staff is awesome too. We highly recommend this location.

I’m giving my stay hear a five star review, of course the room was clean, comforting atmosphere, The front desk clerk Corrina was so helpful, our tv would work and she gave us her extra undivided attention while at the same time I seen her dealing with other customers about a jacuzzi that wouldn’t heat up and lemonade to be filled, and I was just so amazed at how she didn’t lose patience with one customer and still treated us like we were her priority, I just love this welcoming atmosphere and how the staff welcomed us thank you Corrina for your great hospitality

So if you have been to the town of barstow before you already know the selection of hotels along main st. When I booked thru my Hilton honors app I was surprised to find this hilton and even more surprised to find this side of barstow. A little nicer and quiter then im use too. This hilton was Clean, convenient check in, my fridge did not work and that's no fault to anyone. I don't think they check these things daily maybe someone just didn't say anything. Other then that my room was quiet easy to get to. Parking was not to bad was able to get right to my room after a short elevator trip. We utilized the pool last night they have the coolest mini pool off to.the side for the kids on top of having a hot tub and a huge pool. đź‘Ś not a bad place to stay while in barstow.

Often stay here for business trips. Like a lot of hotels of the Hilton brand, I normally stay at DoubleTree, Hilton Garden Inn, or Hampton Inn. As a business traveler, I often look at the comfort, morning breakfast options, and accessibility of the business center (no FedEx Office in Barstow). If you find yourself staying the night with little clothes or having an extended stay, this Hampton Inn has a self-laundry service. Hampton Inn and Suites Barstow has found themselves a frequent guest. Things to change: Please change the itchy blankets on the beds. This hotel does everything right with the exception of this.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, once for two weeks, and the other one week! Excellent staff!! Very pleasant atmosphere! The morning breakfast is awesome, the cook deserves a increase in pay!!! I'll be back to stay at this hotel again, and again!! You didn't disappoint!!

Claims of cleanliness are fake. Hair on toilet seat and make up pencil shavings on bathroom counter. When requested room cleaning, returned to trash can on counter and trash left in room. Go figure… UPDATE- I received an email from the manager ensuring me that this is not how they conduct business and I will give them another shot next time in town. I have had bad stays at other brands and have never received an email unless I initiated the conversation. This tells me they care about what it said and looking to improve.
