I actually saw Dr. Economos years ago so I can't comment much on the office's current practices, but I will say that I still have concerns about my care there to this day and that I think about it often. He brought up invisalign during one of my visits, even though I had had braces and my teeth were barely out of line. But he told me it would be no charge to me, so I felt like I had nothing to lose. Except I lost small parts of my teeth! He said he was going to shave off part of two of my lower teeth so that the retainer could fit on my teeth. I was very hesitant but he again talked me into it, saying the shaving would be so minimal that it wouldn't be an issue. Well, ever since then for all these years, nearly every time I eat (which I do multiple times a day!), I get a significant amount of food stuck in those spaces that he opened up. And unfortunately it makes me think about how I kick myself for letting a dentist PERMANENTLY SHAVE AWAY AT MY TEETH, especially when there weren't any problems to begin with. It also unfortunately makes me think about how I did get charged for those invisalign and had to complain to the office, and also makes me think about how Dr. Economos called my personal phone (that he obviously got from my office records) from his personal phone to ask me out, even though I was in my 20s and he was probably in his 50s or 60s.

Worst dental experience ever. They lied about my insurance coverage. I wasnt sure when my waiting period was up, so the front desk girl called them to verify. Though i was only covered for cleanings at that time she told me i was clear for cleanings and minor work no major. I Said only do cavity fillings because my girlfriend works an endodontist and will take care of anything major. instead he started a root canal. Then left my tooth open causing a severe infection. I was on meds for a week and was in extreme amounts of pain. Not to mention his equipment is not up to date or at the level it should be to even be doing a root canal. They overcharged me on my bill, admitted the mistake then wouldn't refund my money. The office manager NEVER returns phone calls. And the front desk girls couldn't move any slower In turn I went to advanced dentistry off roselle road and they did an outstanding job. They understood my situation helped me get on a payment plan since root canals are not cheap and my insurance didn't cover it. Dr. Klemma is very smart and has a very nice office. Patty the front desk girl knows everyone by first name basis and does her job very well.

If I could give this dentist zero stars I would. I went to see Dr. Economos for a cavity and left the office in pain. He drilled the cavity without any kind of numbing agent claiming, "I didn't need it." I wanted to jump out of my skin as he drilled and hit a sensitive nerve twice. He filled the tooth, but something didn't feel right with the bite and I was still in pain. He said the bite takes a little bit before it feels normal, which I get. I left the office and chalked it up to the tooth being irritated due to the cavity being drilled and adjusting to the bite. Several weeks passed and the tooth still hurt so I called his office and they told me to come in. He drilled again and hit my nerve...AGAIN! He was in a hurry, the bite still didn't seem right and he never even buffed the tooth to smooth it out. Now, a month later, I'm in agony and can't eat or drink anything! The tooth still has the cavity! He didn't fill it correctly! I love how I spent money having him fill a cavity (basic dentistry) only to have to dish out more money to have it done correctly. Save your money and go to dentist who knows what he's doing.

Just as everyone else is saying, this practice is out to get your money. I came here for a cleaning and then 6 months later they were texting me to come back in for another cleaning (even though insurance only covers annual cleanings). I went back a year later and he suggested I get my last wisdom tooth removed (I had gone to an oral surgeron years prior and they only saw 3 at the time). Surprise surprise, this dentist can perform the surgery! He also talked me into getting invisalign, as insirance would cover most of the cost. Fast forward to the day of my “surgery” and they started numbing the wrong side!! I told them my wisdom tooth was on the other side and they acted like I was the dumb one! Once they corrected their mistake and numbed the correct side, the Dr came in and started working. To my surprise, I was not put under anesthesia like the first time I had this surgery. I also was not given any prescription pain meds like I was when I went to the oral surgeon the first time (my pain tolerance is extremely low). He recommended over the counter tylenol! I ended up having to visit my PCP and ask for something stronger, as I could not handle the pain. Once my bill came in the mail, I noticed I was WAY overcharged. He charged $500 for one tooth, when I paid $100 per tooth years prior with my oral surgeon! Also, the invisalign was not covered whatsoever!! I showed up to the office and complained about my bill and told them I’m a college student drowning in debt and they completely misquoted me! 15 minutes of complaining later, the receptionist took $400 off my bill for the tooth and still made me pay most the bill for the invisalign even though it was their fault they misinformed me. The entire situation left me traumatized, so clearly, I AM NEVER GOING BACK!

Office has been in Bartlett for years. He started out caring. Surely made over the years and then became all about the love of money and now truly the Trump way of healthcare. Squeezing every penny out of insurance, and then some. Sad what dentists have become because nobody governs them and they have no connection for caring any more.

This office always tries to over charge way too much to squeeze insurance money and they lie, i just took my son for a cleaning and supposedly professional dentist took 20 minutes for the process and on top of that i had to tell them at the front desk to do their job and make sure to verify it was covered before doing the procedure, theyre supposed to do their job on verifying with insurance and not saying stuff without knowing, this place is getting lazy and bad with no communication.

Not sure where these other went but i had an extremely positive experience. Dr. Economos saw me on short notice while traveling. I needed a tooth pulled and he was able to accommodate me and send me off feeling 100% better. Thanks Doc
