Popped
in
for
tea
with
family
while
back
in
Barton
after
a
long
time.
The
food
was
amazing
-
freshly
made
and
cooked.
I
ordered
the
Steak
and
Ale
pie,
and
they
asked
if
I
was
alright
to
wait
for
about
40
mins
as
they
cook
them
fresh
-
I
thought
that
was
an
excellent
sign
of
skill
and
care
in
the
kitchen.
The
steak
melted
in
the
mouth,
with
a
beautiful
flavour
to
the
sauce,
the
pastry
was
perfect
-
not
too
crumbly
or
too
solid,
but
just
right.
Chips
were
extra
chunky
and
much
appreciated.
I
have
no
photos
as
I
was
enjoying
it
too
much
to
take
them!
My
companions
had
the
Liver
and
Onions
which
went
down
well,
and
the
Hunters
Chicken,
which
was
so
filling,
they
thoughtfully
offered
us
the
rest
to
take
out.
Service
was
great
-
everyone
was
friendly,
helpful
and
attentive.
We
haven't
seen
each
other
for
ages,
so
it
was
a
great
place
to
catch
up
and
share
stories
while
someone
else
took
care
of
things.
Had
a
brilliant
evening,
and
hope
to
come
back
next
time
we're
in
the
area.
Thanks!
