Was
refused
a
order
for
food.
I
arrived
from
Kansas
after
13
hours
of
driving.
Checked
into
the
Days
Inn,
just
next
door.
Parking
a
truck
is
tough,
so
with
Burger
King,
right
next
door,
who
needs
to
drive,
I
will
walk.
Dining
room
closed
at
10PM,
that
is
ok,
I
will
walk
through.
I
stood
in
front
of
the
drive
through
area,
said
"hello",
knowing
the
electronic
gizmo
failed
me.
I
continued
to
walk
to
the
drive
thru
window,
tapped
on
the
glass,
showed
my
Days
Inn
key
card,
told
them
my
truck
is
parked
for
the
night.
Asked
if
I
could
order.
The
response
from
the
unknown
employee
told
me
I
had
to
drive
through
to
order
and
that
they
could
not
take
walk
through
orders.
I
asked
again,
are
you
sure
I
have
to
go
get
my
truck
to
get
food,
when
I
am
right
at
the
hotel
next
door?
Her
response
was
the
same,
no
walk
through
allowed.
I
did
not
want
to
go
inside,
i
wanted
to
wait
outside
for
my
food,
never
got
that
far.
So
the
gas
station
cookies
and
beef
jerky
will
have
to
do
tonight.
As
a
retired
Command
Sergeant
Major
with
24
years
of
service,
I
protected
these
young
employees
for
just
this
moment.
Did
I
really
need
to
drive
a
chunk
of
metal
just
to
hand
her
the
same
credit
card
I
was
going
to
use?
Please
Burger
King,
tell
me
that
once
the
dining
room
closes
you
WILL
NOT
serve
a
walk
through
customer
from
a
motel
next
door.
