I stayed for two weeks. I don’t get the good reviews, it’s basically the place to book for one night, look elsewhere if staying longer. - Poor service from most staff members, they can’t be bothered - Cooked breakfast only available half the time even if paid for - a joke really - No parking - Room cleaning means new tea bags and emptying bin, no towel change or bed sheet change. - Room cleaning will throw away your personal items on the desk ! Never had that on a hotel stay EVER. - Check bins/bed on checkin , I found, possibly a used condom in the bin on my first stay in July.

Nearly two hours to check in as they couldn't find prepayment and nobody able to resolve it. Went for the breakfast that had also been pre-paid for and same problem. Said I will just pay again and then there was no milk so I just left without breakfast. Disastrous stay, truly let down and staff where like rabbits in the headlights. Not a clue! Never again, late for all my appointments 😒

A clean room and the staff were pleasant in the hotel reception. Absolutely no complaints there. The bed was very uncomfortable and so creaky it would wake us up every time we moved. The climate control for the room was also very loud and would randomly turn on and off, again waking us up each time. We were also woken up at 4am by the fire alarms sounding due to someone smoking in their room. Which meant standing in the freezing cold for 15 minutes. The area itself also seemed very rough. Lots of arguing in the streets and shady characters lurking around both outside and inside the building. Especially in the stairwell which seemed odd as the same characters were still in the stairwell when the fire alarm went off 5 hours later. (Standing around, not actually heading for the fire escape like everyone else). The car park is also a noticeable walk away. (Which isn't particularly nice at night considering the area). You also have to pay for it, in cash. (Not many people carry cash). AND the next morning our car was surrounded by empty beer glasses and food containers. Tried to go for breakfast the next morning at the Beefeater attached and despite the restaurant being practically empty we were waiting a good 15 minutes to be seated before deciding to leave. (The waitress was literally 8ft away and was fully aware of us standing there next to the HUGE sign that read 'wait here to be seated'). All things considered I don't think we would be return.

This is my second visit in as many months and honestly it’s terrible for the price, reception just stared at me until I said what I was here for, despite having a suitcase, no iron in the room, nor phone so I call call reception for one. No on site car parking, breakfast is just poor at best, I was here for 3 days last time and they never changed any of the towels! The only saving grace is the bed is comfy.

Room the usual Premier Inn standard. Clean and well kept. Unfortunately lots of noise from upstairs and neighbouring room, seems the walls and floors are paper thin. Didn’t visit the restaurant - any restaurant attached to a Premier Inn will notoriously be terrible. Lots of other food options nearby.

Pristinely clean, functional with welcoming and friendly staff. Whilst my room was faultless I do wish I'd spent the extra for the Premier Plus room during this stay. The adjoining Beefeater restaurant was excellent value for money with impressive food options, quality, and presentation. All in all, a fantastic stay at this hotel.

Stayed in room 234 for 3 nights, first night the air-conditioning fan went on intermittently at full speed whether system was off or on. Eventually had to flip circuit breaker for fan/lights and fan controls to get any sleep. Only 1 bulb working in bathroom, 2 others out of 4 flickered on and off. Last 2 didn’t work at all. Notified staff first thing in morning as we left for our venue. Nothing done when we came back that night, and room key wouldn't let us in for 20 minutes until staff came up with master key. Same issues next day, including key not letting us in for 10 minutes. Some other staff member tried fobbing us off about air-conditioning, telling us it worked off of bathroom lights, was still on flat out with lights off. Great location, comfy bed, just badly maintained room

Great location but parking is a joke. Room was quiet, large, comfy. Premier do great on rooms and service; honestly, no bad reviews. Now, if only they could solve the greedy parking problem.

Hotel is average Premier Inn, comfy bed etc. no on-site parking but large pay and display car park nearby. Restaurant is awful, avoid at all costs.

The hotel is ok but very run down rooms with mould in bathrooms. However, the Beefeater attached to it has major issues all the time....from not opening unexpectedly on one night...no food...no cutlery...dirty cups...chef sleeping in on other occasions to long waiting times for food almost every night. I would not recommend staying here until they have sorted their issues...quick to take your money, slow to deliver what you've paid for...

Good hotel utterly ruined by the Beefeater it uses for breakfast. 25 minute wait for food and no spoons. At dinner time half the menu is unavailable.

Great location and friendly staff. Room could have been cleaner (large stain on the wall etc) and the room was run down. Beefeater breakfast was cooked fresh for you, we enjoyed the breakfast but wouldn't do more than a couple of nights in the hotel. We stayed 10/11/23

Premier Inn was good rooms clean and reception staff friendly. However do not book breakfast in the beefeater, no staff to greet, no crockery, tables not cleaned. Went to Wetherspoons instead much better value and only across the road.

Staff are pleasant and nice…..when they’re around ! Hotel is clearly understaffed, don’t be surprised to wait 10 minutes to check in or even 10 minutes to be seated in the restaurant. As I say it’s not the staffs fault but we stay here all the time for work and everyone has the same issues weekly. Get more staff Yeovil to help the ones out who are they’re now !!

Basic, as all UK Premier Inn hotels seem to be. The room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep although we're woken in night by other guests crashing about. Not in the best area of town, but conveniently situated. Do not go to the attached Beefeater restaurant as they can't manage breakfast in timely manner.

A very central hotel, well positioned to access the town centre and pubs, restaurants etc. Our room was clean and well equipped as you'd expect of Premier Inn. The evening service in the restaurant and bar was very good. However the breakfast service was less good. There was no hot food buffet and the table service was particularly slow. The hot food, when it did arrive, was very good. I'm sure this is likely to be a blip due to staffing levels and would likely not be repeated on a future visit. We had the meal deal (about £26 for two course evening meal plus drink and unlimited breakfast in the morning). We'd happily stay here again.

Pretty standard Premier inn experience which is in no way a slight. It's great to know what you're going to get. Room was clean and tidy with friendly staff. The attached beefeater was perfectly nice, clean and good service. I would happily stay there again.

Rooms noisy, beds hard and the breakfast was not good at all. Very expensive per night compared to other Premier hotels.

BEWARE THE BREAKFAST SERVICE!!! As Premier Inn lodgings go, this was okay; noisy if you have someone above you, but clean and well located in Yeovil. Would have appreciated earlier notification of the new early check-in fee though. However, BEWARE if you order the ‘unlimited breakfast’ here. Stayed for four nights for work last week with the full breakfast as part of the package, But I was only actually able to eat a breakfast of my choice once. All hot food is cooked to order which is not usually a problem, unless you chronically under staff the restaurant. Tuesday morning (was only the server and chef ) After waiting 15 minutes to place an order I had to approach the server to request porridge made with half milk/half water (as Premier Inn no longer offer skimmed milk). I was made to feel as though I'd asked for something so 'off piste' I was being unreasonable. It all went downhill from there. On Wednesday morning me and most of my colleagues were ignored as were our efforts to try and place an order. I could only have toast for breakfast as the fruit salad was empty One of the people (who came in after us) whose order was taken was flat out refused porridge because there was only one staff member acting as server and chef. Day three was a different server who was very polite but the service was similarly awful. It took 30 minutes to receive my porridge and below is the totally inedible offering (more toast). A woman walked out demanding her money back because the service was so poor. On the final day I purposely attended later hoping to get something decent, my cooked breakfast plate was swimming with 'water' from the 'microwave scrambled eggs'. If you're thinking of adding breakfast to your packages don’t bother. The (Beefeater) service is shocking and the first server (blonde female) was just plain rude. I'll be asking work to add it to the barred list. Never again!

The room was great staff were lovely. The breakfast could have been much better but due to a lack of staff and the poor staff that were there being rushed off thier things could have been better. Although everything was not there the breakfast staff did the best they could with what they had and were helpful although they were having a difficult morning!

Here for work... I got a last minute booking for work and was upgraded to a disabled room... so the only disadvantage was the lower than normal bathroom sink and wet room type walk in shower. Aside from that, the room was a great size, the food (Beefeater restaurant) was great and the staff were super friendly!!! Would definitely visit again!

Whilst the hotel itself was of the standard I expect from Premier Inn the attached restaurant, run by Beefeater was very poor. We had to return the starters, Garlic mushrooms, for our evening meal as they were still frozen in the middle. The following morning we were seated by the server for breakfast at 9:35 and still waiting for our cooked breakfast when we walked out at 11:05. The server had told us on numerous occasions, as he wandered past us, that our meals would be 'just a couple of minutes'. On complaining to the Premier Inn receptionist we were told the restaurant is nothing to do with them but PI advertise it and encourage customers to book and pay for meals on the PI booking website, so from our point of view as customers the restaurant is very much part of the hotel. Poor service in the restaurant reflects back to the hotel and as such we will not book this hotel again

So I’ve stayed at many different premier inn hotels due to work. I have to say that this is the best one by far. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two absolutely lovely ladies at reception - Tracey and Fran. What a lovely welcome , very outgoing , kind and informative. NOTHING was too much trouble for them. What a pleasant experience. It is because of these two ladies that I will be back. They made all the difference for me. Never had such a nice experience as I did at the Yeovil Town Centre Premier Inn. Keep up the hard work ladies and keep smiling as you always do. Such positive happy vibes . . . Spot On! Will definitely be staying here again when passing through Thank you Tracey Thank You Fran

Great town centre location, decent clean and comfortable room, but the food service needs a little work. Many items were not available in the breakfast room and slow service really let the overall experience down.

The room was nice and tidy and clean, fresh towels, extra pillows and we had a family room which slept 5 ☺️. Only thing that let the room down was a broken stool to sit on, the bed was broken on the corner where the wood has broken we mentioned it to the staff. The staff was friendly and helpful. The car park was a 2 minute walk.

3 stars is about right. Rooms are always well presented and up to the Premier Inn standard. Receptionists are always very nice and helpful. WiFi performance is sub par but useable. However it is the restaurant that drags this place down. It is always understaffed and the staff (particularly the evening staff) generally don't care. You will quite often be seated and then forgotten about, the food often turns up either wrong or parts of it cold. Sometimes your food will be placed on the hot plate ready to be served with the waiting staff too busy having a natter behind the bar to notice... I actually went and got my own food last time I was there and no one noticed. In summary, if you are in town on business then I would recommend this hotel as a base. However do yourself and your colleagues a favour and visit some of the other fantastic restaurants that Yeovil has to offer in the evenings.

Good location, good ascetics outside and the staff were fantastic. The broadband premium was slower than my spotty signal and was a waste of money, Room 141, the paint is bubbling off the walls, the table deal is coming off and broken, bathroom was like a rave with the flickering lights. Using premier inns every month, this is one of the worst rooms I've had off them. If you find a nice room could be a good hotel as the staff are brilliant 👏
