One of the best restaurant in Baden area. They got more northern Indian dishes. May prepare southern Indian dishes on request. Best food in the city. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes available. They also prepare customize menu on request. Fantastic staff. Efficient and friendly.

Very good food and drinks! Ordered the second menu including starters and a dessert. Food and drinks were served with just the right frequency by polite and attentive staff. The restaurant started to fill up with guests considerably towards 7 pm. For more than two people a reservation is therefore recommended. There's enough background noise to keep conversations private. Good atmosphere, will visit again. In case you're unfamiliar with Indian food, just order one of the menus and you'll get a lot of different items to try.

Authentic India Restaurant in Baden. Food is delicious and prompt service. If you wish to try all varieties of food, go for Veg Thali or Non veg Thali. Which includes 2-3 curried, rice , sweet, bread and few additional things. You will find Authentic Indian dishes like, Butter chicken, paneer, Naan, Daal, chicken 65, Chaat, Samosa, Pakora. And for lunch , this place has Buffe with reasonable price. ENJOY 😉

I have been to many Indian Restaurants across the world and so far, I have never had such outstanding Indian dishes in Switzerland. The food was incredible and the service was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend it and hope to visit again soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❤️

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant (von innen). Relativ ruhig mit schönem Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr gut mit vielen vegetarischen Alternativen. Von Aussen etwas unscheinbar. Die Kellner konnten leider nicht so gut Deutsch aber mit Englisch konnten wir uns gut unterhalten.

I was looking for an authentic Indian restaurant for familiar flavours - and found it in Kanchi. Lovely ambience, warm staff and satisfying food. Whether you're looking for those spices that remind you of home (like me) or you're new to this cuisine - I highly recommend Kanchi.

A nice Indian restaurant with a decent atmosphere. It is a kids and pet friendly restaurant. The food was good, but I did not feel the wow factor. It's a value for money restaurant, if you're going in a group, else you'll find the costs on the pricier side.

Recently I was in Baden for two weeks and really had a great food over here and I never I felt that I am out of country. During my stay in Baden, I had been over here every day and tried with almost all vegetarian dishes they have, and all are very good. Rasam is very authentic. Very nice experience. Very good restaurant. Very nice staff. You should note that their German isn't on point so we talked to them in English, but that wasn't a peoblem at all! Alla in all very good restaurant.

Very GOOD Indian Restaurant in Baden . The interiors are excellent. The service is very good and efficient. The taste is superb and authentic. The people in the restaurant particularly Mr. Anas and Mr. Mathew are friendly and take personal interest. At the outset, “Value for money”. I was in a long stay for more than three weeks here and eating my dinner almost daily and I enjoyed it. Thanks for the owner Mr. Ramesh and the people who attended me.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Really good atmosphere, staff explained about the dishes and the food was great and tasty. Spice level also very good. We came from Zürich for this restaurant and will definitely do that again. Total recommendation

We have been going to Kanchi for some years already, before, while and after Covid. Food is always excellent (I think we have tried almost all from the menu), very tasteful, quite big portions including big rice portions. We can order always more spicy than regular Swiss level and they very kindly adjust. It is all really delicious. We love the great Swiss Appenzeller IPA beer, not easy to find in Swiss restaurants. Ramesh and the team are very warmly hosting us and are very attentive of what we like and need. They make us feel like family. I really appreciate their honesty, humanity and kindness. They also serve take away, which was a wonderful option during Covid times. Atmosphere is very nice with some background music. It is always possible to talk with no need to be loud and be disturbed. In the hottest days in summer, you find there a cool comfortable place, waiting to serve you in the best way. I finally feel grateful for the level of cleanliness everywhere. We feel very comfortable being able to communicate with any person of the team in English.

Feine Speisen, netter Service. Einrichtung könnte man mehr daraus machen (ehemalige Pizzeria im Andalusien Style). Vor allem bei der Beleuchtung. Der Preis ist für das Gebote jedoch zu hoch. Daher "nur" 4 Sterne. Aber unbedingt am besten selbst hingehen und sich eine eigene Meinung machen. Ist auf jeden Fall lecker.

We have visited Kanchi many times, this is not only the best curry house in Baden by a very long way, but probably the best restaurant we have been to. The food is delicious, excellent starters (particularly the prawn pakoras and the lamb pepper fry). The mains are delicious too, both meat and in particular for me the vegetarian curries such as aubergine curry or Aloo Gobi which I had last night. The service is also excellent, by far the friendliest staff who always make us feel welcome. Superb - don’t miss!

Finally, a high quality menu that is diverse! It is a very exciting place to eat in Baden. My husband and I went last night for dinner for the first time. The staff were the best I have experienced so far in Switzerland. Friendly, competent and knew information about the food they were serving. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was exceptional. It was clear that staples such as the naan bread were freshly made on site. The curry sauces were the highlight of my evening, we choose a chicken and lamb main course. Both were amazing, you can taste that the sauce is freshly made to order. If I had one wish it would be that the music was a little louder to create a little bit more of a romantic atmosphere. We will be back soon! A MUST if you are local. Great value too, with no compromise on the quality.

We visited this restaurant because one of our friends who lives in Swiss recommended. We ordered tandoori chicken, naan, roti, chicken curry, vegetable curry and rice. We liked all of them, but tandoori chicken and homemade desserts were too delicious( highly recommend 😋😋😋) The staffs are friendly and nice, and there’s that family spirit around which just adds to the great experience. Treat for food lovers !!

This is a nice cozy place with friendly staff and good food. Great for lunch buffets. My office mates, all non Indians, love this place. This means they have adapted well to their pallets. Good job.

My favorite Restaurant!!! We have been going to Kanchi ever since it opened in 2018. The food is fresh and delicious, staff is always friendly and accomodating. We appreciate the kind gestures. I have celebrated my birthday a few times and was surprised with decorations, cake and a lovely card. The buffet for lunch always offers different dishes than on the menu, its a must try. Kanchi is the best indian restaurant i have had dinner in the whole canton aargau! the service is so very friendly and attentive. Super helpful with questions about the menue. the restaurant itself is very cozy with a nice atmosphere :) now to the food.. Super delicious food, prepared and served with care. The team there is very hardworking and so thoughtful. Our fussy son needed something special and they took care of it with a smile. Highly recommend!
