One of the best steakhouses I’ve ever been to in the world. From the starters to drinks everything was perfection. The steak was incredibly tender and flavourful. The owners are extremely friendly and they make you feel so welcomed. Highly recommended!

Can't say enough about our experience. We have lived in Albania since February and this was by far our best dining experience. Quality is on par with anything we have had around the globe. We ordered the carpaccio, bone marrow, local wild duck and the veal. Everything was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. The duck was beyond fantastic, the best I have ever had. We also had the house wine which was delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is fabulous. Very well decorated With good lighting. The evening we were there they had a live and very talented musician playing. The service matched everything else about this restaurant. Daniele was the perfect waiter. He was professional, kind, efficient, very knowledgeable about the menu. We can’t wait to return!

We found this place kind of late at night when other restaurants were closed. Despite the fact that it was late, we were seated and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the salad, my partner ordered the duck. He said it ws the best duck he ever had. The oven potatoes which accompanied the duck were exceptional. We shared some Albanian white wine which was refreshing. There was a very persistent cat who wanted to come into the restaurant. We saved her a piece of duck and some bread. It turned out that this was the owner's cat who we met sitting outside with some of his dudes in a typical Albanian fashion. A super nice guy too.

Awesome time at Westwood Meathouse! I recently visited Westwood Meathouse and it was fantastic! The kangaroo meat was a unique and delicious experience – a must-try for adventurous eaters! The steak was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. The chef definitely knows how to cook meat to perfection. Service was top-notch – the staff was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu well. Their recommendations made the evening even better. As for prices, they're reasonable for the quality you get. The great food and service definitely make it worth it. All in all, my experience at Westwood Meathouse was amazing. Tasty food, excellent service, and good value. Can't wait to go back soon!

We came in with high expectations, as this place was highly rated. We were not disappointed. Atmosphere: The place is fairly small, and very well lit and decorated for a cozy vibe. Everything came across as 'high end', with embroidered logos on napkins, shirts, table reservations and even wine bottles. A lot of effort has gone into making this place stand out, and it is done in a very successful way. We were surprised to learn that it is in fact not a part of a big chain. Very impressive! Food: A good size menu, but not too much. This is a obviously a meat-speciality place. We shared a nice Burrata with Prosciutto for a starter. Great, fresh flavors. For main, we got the 500g Picanha Brazilian steak for sharing. All steaks are served with potatoes. Just the right amount for us. I did however miss some kind of sauce on the side. The steak was ordered medium, and was slightly overcooked. The advice from the server was medium/rare, so that was our fault. Other sides were not offered, but available on request. There were two local desserts available, which both were absolutely amazing! Wine is not available by the glass. We got the best house red, which was great. Kind of pricy at 6500 Lek, but it was a good wine. Service: We have been to a few restaurants in Durres and Tirana, and the service here was the best we have gotten, by far. Our server was very nice all night. He came by the table and checked on us, filled our glasses regularly, and spoke english pretty good. We did get a complimentary dessert and shot as we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you for a great night!

For sure a great experience. They have some options that I have not seen before like crocodile meat and kangaroo. The services are top notch. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth it.

I was 100% blown away by this restaurant, from outstanding, friendly service to warm environs and probably the best duck I've ever eaten anywhere. We visited late on a Monday night and were treated with incredible respect by our server Arbër, who is by far the best waiter we've met in Albania. He took time to explain the menu and make recommendations. We were the last table of the night, but were not rushed at all. This was the first time I'd seen duck on a menu in Albania, where most restaurant menus seem to be somewhat identical and slightly unimaginative. Here they also serve deer, which I'll definitely order on my next visit. The duck was served perfectly cooked to medium rare, with no sauce. At first I was concerned because I've always eaten duck with some kind of sauce. But this was an exquisite piece of fresh meat that needed nothing beyond the dashes of salt and pepper on its crispy skin. I was floored by how delicious this dish was, and I'll be craving it forever. At 1500 Lek ($15 US) this was an incredible value. We were gifted two pours of raki after dinner, and later had the chance to speak with the chef and the owner, both incredibly friendly people who clearly know what they are doing. Don't miss this restaurant if you're in Durrës.

I definitely recommend their extremely tender 'Picanha', you will not regret, your wallet will tear up a bit but it's worth it!! And their wild duck is also amazing The waiter is very friendly and professional;) We had a nice dinner there.

One of the best restaurants we found in Durres!! Very nice ambiance and the service was 5 stars. They served the food pretty quickly -unlike other restaurants we've been to where we had to wait for over an hour! We had the pasta ragú and the Picanha and the flavours were like tasting a piece of heaven. We loved it so much that we're coming again tomorrow! 100% must visit. Thank you so much for the best food we've had this week!

amazing service, very polite and kind staff, they really made sure we had a great time! the picanha steak was amazing, the crocodile was also a nice experience. desserts were delicious, and we also got a free albanian digestive after the meal, it was very nice (kind of like hungarian palinka, it burned hahaha) prices are a bit more than what you’re used to in the area, but 100% worth it for the experience!

Very nicely decorated restaurant. The waiter was there for our every beck and call. The meat was perfectly cooked and served with flare (literally). The only downside was that we weren't able to finish all the food because the portions were bigger than expected. 10/10 experience, will definitely visit again.

Meat grilled to perfection. The Picanha was sooo tender, the salad mix and creamy mushrooms was nicely balanced and flavourful. 10/10! Service was great, and the cute cat stole our hearts (and did get to taste our dinner). Would recommend Westwood Meathouse any day.

Went here for the first time and my experience was above expectations. The food was very good especially the picanha, the sliced ones were very juicy and tasty. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with giving recommendations and they were very nice overall.

I have been in Albania for 5 months and I have tried the steak in many of the restaurants but have always been disappointed. However the steak here will disappoint no one. I had the Tomahawk and it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, much better than most American restaurants that specialise in steaks. The staff were excellent and spoke English. I will be back very soon.

I think this place is perfect if you want to eat meat in Durres city. The carpaccio is a must. Meat is well cooked and tasty. Ravioli 10/10. You should give it a try!

Wonderful decorated and cozy place. Food is amazing. We had tomahawk steak, duck breasts, crocodile steak and westwood pasta. Everything is served with fine potatoes as a side dish. Greek and mixed salad were also very delicious. Meat was fresh and wonderful prepared. It is not cheap, but it is worth it. Our son had birthday and very kind waiter that served us, noticed birthday candle on the table. At the end of the dinner, they throw as a little surprise with traditional alcoholic drink - rakija, and delicious desert for our son. They even played a Happy birthday song and put a sparking candle on the top of his dessert. Don't hesitate to go there - you will have fantastic meal with professional and kind staff.

Such a cozy and nice restaurant! The atmosphere is so amazing. The food is delicious and the waitress is so kind and helpful! We got tasty bread as starters and free shots at the end of the meal! I also got a small gift! I really recommend this restaurant! Best one I have visited in Albania!!

I like the food services there which is very amazing. I order cheese potatoes and pasta with mushrooms, Entrecote beef (highly recommend ) so juicy . As I celebrate my birthday here ,the chef came out to said happy birthday and made a surprise for us. That is memorable experience. Definitely will visit again.

We visited today for some lunch after reading the great reviews. The decor was so lovely inside and the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. We ordered bone marrow and deer meat and everything was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious. Flavoursome and tender and just what we needed! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and kind and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Durrës 😃

We had a wonderful meal here. The staff was very helpful and patient as we don’t speak Albanian. We had a delicious salad, amazing Albanian red wine ( by staff recommendation) and the most delicious T-bone steak. Desert was a lovey touch. This is a must if you are in Durres and want a quality experience.

The best Meat house in Durrës, exquisite flavor, perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, didn’t take too long, right portion and good price, perfect service, they were very friendly and attentive. 😊 The restaurant is very beautiful, loved the decoration, the music was good, everything was perfect. We’ve tried so many restaurants in Albania but this is the best one so far. And in the future we would love to come back to enjoy more of it.🥰🥰
