Fast service through the drive through and for once a perfect wrap of the day. This was just a quick snack but I was really impressed with the quality of this food... Photo shows the food this wasn't just slapped together (as it usually is) it was properly prepared with plenty of lettuce that went right around the wrap. I wish this McDonald's was near my house so I could enjoy this quality more often. We'll done guys 🙂🙂🙂

Great macdonalds 2 mins off the A34, adequate parking with 2 x electric car charging stations. Also has drive through. The inside is quite big and spacious. Recently, had the ipad table added to keep kids entertained. Self-service ordering screens encourage you to place your own order. The toilets are clean and tidy, and there is usually someone going around cleaning and tidying which keeps the place looking fresh. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Talk about a bad trip, the car park not pictured had the food crates blocking around 5 parking spaces and the drive through blocks the car park when busy. There weren't enough staff covering the restaurant and 2 of the ordering kiosks were down which was causing a massive backlog. I went to collect an order and had to wait 10 minutes even though it said it was already on the collect screen. My main food took 20 minutes to be ready after waiting for an order kiosk (no human on the tills to take orders) and the app barely worked as signal in that area is sketchy and their WiFi also wasn't working. The bins were full and napkin dispenser was empty, I mentioned it to a lady who was serving but she seemed to busy and they did nothing about it during the 60 minutes or so I was there McDonald's please staff your restaurants properly you are making the experience unenjoyable with poor service and long wait times. Oh and the steak special is mediocre I'm pretty sure it uses standard patties however I may be wrong but it was meh regardless.

What ever happened to the McDonald's standards? This occasion I visited was extremely busy and when it's this busy, I don't recommend visiting. Perhaps it's better when it's not so busy? The food was just OK, as the fries were very fresh and yes the Steakhouse burger looked good, however it was filled with two slices of Cardboard. The food took foever to be made and handed to the overly patient customers, which was made worse by the fact people were struggling to order on the dodgy touch screens, and the old guy on the tills who took forever ... The worst thing for me though in any McDonalds is when you go craving there best menu item, a milkshake ... and the machine is never working! They all seemed very overwhelmed, and was even convinced I saw the lady who was cleaning the toilets and the manager making food?

Used to love popping in here between 2006- 2010. During the wettest summer ever (2007) it took me 5hours to drive from here to the #M4 junction, it was the last day of the school term, and according to a radio news bulletin children had to be let out of the classroom windows and put into boats in the playground. Anyway, today's visit I enjoyed a coffee and an apple pie for £2

Easy, cheap, friendly. Not a regular choice since they took chicken wraps with a light dressing off the menu. Would be nice if they did a light version of their meals

Stopped in this McDonalds on the way home from Manchester and was met by a different kind of service. We were greeted by the staff with communication and had a fun chat with, one of the employees, Bill "William." What a breath of fresh air. He stopped what he was doing, even though he was busy, and had a good chat with me and my family. A lovely bloke and this is what you would like to find in all of the establishments. The other restaurants workers could do well to take a leaf out of his book. Thanks Bill.

A favourite stop off when on this part of the world. Tothill is a small service area that lpis quick and easy to use.

Quick stop for toilet break and food. Loos were quite dirty but was very late at night. Food was great as usual. Plenty of parking and 2 electric car charging spaces available here.

As far as fast food joints go this one has to be one of the better ones. Very clean Great service never waiting and orders correct. I know it seems nuts to give large firms rating but it’s far better run than some other local ones

An excellently run McDonald's...all tables cleared and wiped down. Efficient delivery of food to my table. Importantly all the staff were friendly and looked like they were happy in their work. And of course the food is at it always is 😁

After a needed break and a very tasty brunch, during a long drive back from Leicester, it was really enjoyable to chat with an employee named Sean, he brightened our day, not just talking about the food etc but football and where we had been and were going on the onward journey, lovely bloke, will be back !

A very average experience. Visiting on a bank holiday weekend it was busy and the service a bit slower than hoped for. Appeared short staffed. Self service tills had no receipt paper. Restaurant wasn't that clean and toilets were in a pretty poor state of cleanliness. Staff were helpful if not the most upbeat.

I was served a cold burger, fries was acceptable. I took it back. Gentleman was polite and had it exchanged. I received a fresh burger and the fries that I received with my first order so it was cold by that time. I now have given up. Will never go to any of their outlets again. Don't call don't say sorry. Train your staff.

A frequent stop off when on our travels. It's a small service area, but better than the bigger ones. Coffee, food, toilets, and a walkie space for the dog. Ticks all the boxes. Nearby, there is a Starbucks, Premier Inn and a petrol station, which all adds the quick easy convenience of Newbury Tot Hill services.

It's a McDonald's so consistent food quality and service. Extremely busy so a wait of 15 to 20 minute wait for food to arrive. Perhaps they need larger premises or more staff as it is a very popular location

Food was fine. Early morning so it wasn't busy. Have to say though..the toilets were disgusting. Smeared mirrors, could have written my name in the layer of dust on top of the hand drier, and the toilet itself was also nasty. Apparently the men's toilets stank and the floor was wet. Restaurant itself was clean enough, but please...sort out the toilets!

Great McDonald's 👍🏻 always has the food you order, food is hot not cold and you want a milkshake THIS MCDONALD'S ALWAYS HAS THEM! NEVER ONCE HAVE THEY SAID "The machine is broken". Great staff very friendly and happy to help

Wow, ordered a deluxe hot chocolate and a flat white.... got 2 flat whites... one had been sitting in the fridge I think. Then got half a cup of normal chocolate. Waited a while to get issues fixed no one seemed to care. Manager had clearly told the service girl to put plasters over her snake bite piercing.... but that just made her CONSTANTLY touch her mouth.... Nice.... 😬🙄🙄🙄

Had to park up and wait but waited over half an hour and still no food. I went in and asked where it was and they had to serve it there and then. My order was given to someone else. Even then my fries were cold. Need to systemize better than this.

Would avoid stopping here again, service appalling 3 staff members hanging around the table at the end waiting to bag the food with one of the staff member constantly looking and showing another staff member what was on her phone food wasn't coming very fast they would of been better off helping in getting the food out quicker, 25 mins waiting for our food, the manners of a female supervisor who was standing at the table at the end waiting for food to pack was not good when I ask how long my food would be she could not be bothered to look let alone talk to me , a male manager came out and then customers were either stopped or informed of the long wait for food before coming in to McDonald's because the que waiting was huge. Food was good when we got it, but shame it was taking so long

Absolutely awful service the kids behind the counter were more interested in joking about and laughing than serving customers! Only three people out of the whole place interested in serving customers!! And then there was the food the hottest thing about that was the salsa dip if I could of given it 0 stars I would of

…food is McDonald’s standard - warm & comforting…however - be prepared to wait! It’s a notoriously VERY busy McDonald’s at a services that runs beside the A34 connecting the South to the Midlands….. & after waiting 25 minutes I enquired & was informed they were low on staff…. Not the best management organisation on a Friday evening…!! Be sure to double check your food before you find your self back on the A34! - we had several items missing. For a McDonald’s like this one, it needs speed…& clearly more staff.

Terribly slow service. 15 minutes between ordering at drive through and getting one breakfast meal. Only one car in front of me. Not due to lack of staff as loads of them standing around chatting to each other. Service often poor in this branch. No concept of fast feed! Manager needs to sort it out!

Great manager, great staff, great service. Just the the place to begin a journey with the breakfast menu and end on a Big Mac. very understanding of our disabled daughter, and after an accident with an overloaded bag very helpful and understanding again. Recommend highly.

Waited 30mind then only the burgers came out without chips. The burgers were cold! Tried to give us the chips anyway, told them to wait until the burgers were ready and we wanted fresh chips. Burgers still weren't great but after waiting for so long and with a 4 hour drive ahead we ate them and left. Not fast food, not tasty, terrible quality. Don't have a lot of McDonald's but this one was rubbish

Ideally placed Macy D's at Tot Hill Services. One really nice chap who portrays a really professional image for the company...older chap always wearing g his tie and smartly turned out (got a feeling his name is Dave). Always happy, nothing too much trouble. Unfortunately the remainder of the crew are shouting, joking around.....even heard them arguing and swearing at each other. It's relatively clean and tidy, but could be better if it wasn't for all the shouting etc
