Our large group were so happy to find this gem in Oldenburg, with ample seating undercover outside on their sweet little patio. Staff could not have been more welcoming. All staff were friendly, nice and very attentive - service was fast (and we were an unexpected group of 9!). The cakes were amazing and all teas, coffees and hot chocolates were thoroughly enjoyed by all! Thank you so much Appeltje Café Team - you made us feel so welcome and happy and we will be making sure everyone knows to come see you, when in Oldenburg :)

Nice cozy place with delicious sweets. The mousses are to die for. The coffee is delicious. But what really makes this place is the great service provided by the staff. They are very friendly and kind.

Coffee always leaves me jittery and anxious, partly because I have anxiety and depression. But, there is something special about the coffee at this place, as I could sip two cups of cappuccino one after the other without a hitch and relishing my scrumptious breakfast, all customized. If you ever visit Oldenburg and you are lucky enough to have this extravagant café open, you must pay a visit or you will have missed the charm of the city.

High quality breakfast and very reasonable prices. The guest room is cosy and nifty and the staff is very kind and attentive. The tarts and cakes looked fantastic so I can't wait to go back for coffee and cake. For breakfast I'd recommend to book in advance.
