Nice place but yesterday (third of April,2023) when my friends and I were there, one of the waitresses (Kellnerin) treated us so unfriendly that I felt racial discrimination. The lady refused to place our order because I spoke in English with a non-European look ! We were literally ignored by her and waited for our cakes while our coffee were getting cold. In my view: Poor conduct on "customer service" .

Good cakes, the kitchen was a bit slow, good view on the square.

Fabulous cakes but the attitude of the serving staff was far from good. My school German was not enough for me to feel confident to order in German and I did feel that there was a negative response to me ordering in English. We were made to wait to pay the bill by the server deliberately ignoring us. Consequently, no tip left !

This was an excellent experience. The ambience was nice, comfortable and classy. The server was excellent, he was funny and had the right anticipation. The tea I had was of good quality and well served. The cake and ice cream selection was superb and tasty. This place is a classical coffee house was a high cultured experience that is a complete contrast to whatever the Starbucks across the street is trying to achieve. If you want to experience true German coffee and cake culture, visit here and skip the Starbucks.

Overpriced place with great view but bad cakes (chocolate one was just not good with taste and afterwards feeling) Also hot chocolate has a powder taste - not good!

The worst cafe i’ve ever visited! The coffee tastes bad! Some staff were unfriendly. The boss sent one of the staff to kick us out of the place and told us we can’t stay more than 30 mins!!

Food was great, the chips were the best I've had in a long time. Great cake selection. I just found service a little slow but it was pretty busy.

A very nice Cafe. We stopped in here in while coming through Bremen our way back home to Hannover. Had a very delicious hot chocolate. Fair prices and friendly staff. Very clean and a very nice view. Should definitely visit if you are in the area.

One serving of pasta is already good for two. The bolognese was basic, but the other pasta with basil and salmon caught my tastes buds. The view from where I sat gave off a chill vibe. They're also serving cakes and ice creams.

Very fresh, delicious 😋 cakes! We shared strawberry cake which was served as a large portion but was light not very heavy so was good to share for two… Both cappucino and latte were good quality… Quite fast service and welcoming staff, liked this place 😊

Strudel with vanilla icecream and cream was to die for. But the best experience was this nice waiter! I hope the owner pays him well 😁

5 stars location 4 stars service, nice and friendly waiters (2 waiters for entire location) 2 stars for food, frozen potatoes, cutlet with fish smell and taste. Almost a 4 stars location, 3,5 from what we experienced.

The pasta with salmon was very tasty. Enough portion but a little bit overpriced. Staff was ok and they speak English too.

Excellent breakfast, and a good view at the market in the city center of Bremen. Also their own coffee is delicious.

Dry cake, bad coffee and charging for mineral water whilst getting tab water. Total tourist trap!

The coffee is OK, but the smell of the roasting is heavenly, the cakes are good, but the staff is super unfriendly. Ambiance and food gets 5 stars, the staff gets 1 star.

I wanted to order cake for my wife and me. I could not really understand the polish employee but what i understood was quite rude. Her behavior surprised me. She told me that we are in Germany here not in Holland and in Germany we should follow the German rules. What she meant by that was quite unclear. She heard that I spoke Dutch to my wife. So she mentioned that she hates Dutch people. I asked her what she meant by that and what that has to do with us. Unfortunately she did not understand or she did not want to. I am German by the way. How arrogant her behavior as a guest living abroad, i find. Inside the cafe the atmosphere was not inviting and the employees were quite unfriendly and short in communication. We stood up and left the place without consumption since she treated us so rude, arrogant and with racist accusations about Dutch people. First time and never again!!!
