Indoor is mediocre but the rooftop bar is a gem. Food is delicious but pricey as all around the world. The shop is rather small but fine. It's separate from the restaurant. The restaurant has an elevator and seating on the ground and first floor + bar on the second floor /rooftop. The restrooms are in the basement (no access by elevator), accessible toilet is next to the entrance on the ground floor.

Very Good experience, we were a group of 13 people and got a table service was very nice and fast!

The service of this place is great. Everyone was sweat and arranged dinner for us (2 people) without a reservation on a busy night. However our dinner was not worth its price. I myself had a steak and was disappointed to pay over 30 euros for such a poor quality steak. I understand it's not a steak house but was disappointed with how much I had to pay for such a meal. Other than that the rest of the food, the service and the aesthetic of the place were good.

Edwin is AMAZING! We had problems on Google setting a reservation and he was extremely helpful in rectifying the issues and confusion. I didn't get the bartenders name and I wish I did. Black with Dreads, he was sweet/kind and funny. He makes amazing drinks! I'd be back just to sit at the bar! Aline (hoping I spelt that right) our server was so awesome, kind and wonderful with our two young ones. She fast and efficient! Speaks great English which I was thankful for. (Actually, all the staff we encounterd did). We've been to one in almost every country we've been too and this is definitely one of the top! I'll definitely be back if we make it back to Hamburg!

A really good location just beside the Elbe overlooking the Hamburg Harbour. The cafe is ofcourse really nice and always playing Rock & Metal classics. So if you are a fan of the Rock&Metal music and hope to get nice drinks along with,this is the place to be. Along with great music, the place offers classic american food. My fav is the Jumbo-Combo platter where I can taste little bit of everything.Not to forget the real nice cocktails. And ofcourse the inhouse BBQ sauce with Chicken Wings is not-to-miss thing. P.S: Table Reservations are recommended.

American food in a great location overlooking the Hamburg harbor. Their burgers are famous, but we opted for smaller plates like the mildly spicy One night in Bangkok Shrimps as well as some French fries. Drinks were good, had a local beer. Service was enthusiastic with personal note.

We came here in our recent visit to Hamburg, we have visited Hard Rock Cafes in most cities we’ve been to. Always a pleasure, good food, good music.

Classic Hard Rock Cafe standards with the food and drinks. Nice people working there. We showed up on a Saturday evening but they fixed seats for us at the bar. It is a lot smaller than a lot of the other Hard Rocks (however they do have a rooftop bar that i did not see since it was winter).

The food was good, as usual. But the prices at this Hard Rock are the highest I’ve seen at any if them and I’ve been at quite a few. The place itself is a bit weird, doesn’t feel like a Hard Rock. The service was weird too, the staff not as friendly as they are in other places.

Ein Ambiente in schönem Design, tolles Innenleben und großzügige Räumlichkeiten. Die Lokalität ist besonders schön. Es gibt eine große Getränkeauswahl. Wunderbare Cocktails! Die Getränke waren schön präsentiert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, der Service sehr gut und es gab nur eine kurze Wartezeit. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Eine tolle Erfahrung. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank. Fazit: Klare Empfehlung. Reservieren und ausprobieren! Eine Reservierung ist sinnvoll, da es sehr gut besucht ist.

After coming from the disappointment and disaster visits to the Hard Rock Cafes in Berlin and Munich, we definitely have to say that the Hamburg one is outstanding! In my experience, Berlin and Munich don’t compare to the high level of professionalism you can expect here. We ordered the usual (we always order the same in all the Hard Rock Cafes across the world), the Original Legendary Burger and we could definitely see everything was freshly prepared at the time (not cooked for hours like in other HRCs). The staff super and genuinely nice, as usual. We felt welcomed, we had a great time!

I had a vegetarian burger and I must say it was good, but not something I would go back for. My fries were too salty. But portions are great. Apparently the Guiness burger is very good and the chicken mac n cheese. Our server was attentive and funny. We had a great time. As you have a super view over the harbour I will definitely return. Cocktail list is big enough for every taste something. And they got a nice outside terrace for summer time

The service here was fantastic. They had the place dressed up for Halloween too 🎃 it was super cute! I got the chicken pineapple quesadilla and my friend got chicken strips with some sort of yummy sauce on it. Everything tasted so good 🤤

Roof terrace was closed but if opened you have a +. Not so much memorabilia but it's an ok, tidy and neat bar You can eat at the bar which creates a laid back atmosphere.

Nice place to go and have a burger with beer. A bit loud but there is s good atmospher to relax and talk. 😉

Die Lage des Hard Rock Cafe ist super, liegt direkt bei den Landungsbrücken. Geschmacklich war das Essen gut, jedoch kamen unsere Burger lauwarm bis kalt an. Find es auch etwas überteuert. Obwohl es nicht voll ausgelastet war, mussten wir fast 1std auf unser Essen warten. Dafür war der Service sehr freundlich. Einen Besuch ist es alle Mal wert, da es auch viel zu sehen gibt.

Hard Rock Cafe is a famous chain which focuses on its rock-y Ambiente rather than their drinks and food; the latter of which (burger) is both expensive and sub-par in quality. If you're into Rock or getting a souvenir it's OK, but if you're looking for food, look elsewhere. The burgers come with thick fries and some table ketchup (no mayo) and the Cheeseburger is quite salty and a bit soggy. I also had the opportunity to try the vegan burger which was fine from a consistency standpoint, but without enough seasoning to have any beef-like resemblance. The icecream dessert is fine but pretty much equal to large batch supermarket icecream, unfortunately. Overall I didn't quite enjoy my meal so chances are you also might not. You can try Peter Pane or Otto's for a good burger.

Wir waren spontan zum Essen dort und haben gerade so noch einen Platz für 4 Personen bekommen, da es auch noch recht zeitig war. Unser Tisch war sehr gut mit Aussicht zum Hafen. Die Rippchen waren super lecker und das Steak war leider zu durch. Der Kellner war äußerst schlecht und unaufmerksam und konnte kaum deutsch. Schade, es hätte besser sein können.

Das Lokal erreicht man super mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln direkt vor der Tür. Wir waren kurz vor Weihnachten unter der Woche da. Ansonsten sollte man wohl besser reservieren. Wir waren nur für zwei Cocktails dort, daher kann ich zum Essen nichts sagen. Wir wurden direkt an der Bar platziert und trotz geringer Auslastung hat eine Bestellung einige Zeit gedauert. Und dann wurde auch nur mein Cocktail aufgenommen. Meine Begleitung musste nach 10 Minuten winkend auf sich aufmerksam machen. Der Cocktail (Marshmallow Mule) war so lecker, dass ich noch einen zweiten getrunken habe (Achtung Suchtgefahr). Die Toiletten sind eine Etage tiefer. Ich würde vermutlich noch mal zum Essen wiederkommen.

Das Restaurant war einen Abstecher wert. Das Essen ist sehr gut und Geschmacklich in Ordnung. Die Räumlichkeiten sind leider sehr eng und der Service hatte ein paar Herausforderungen. Insgesamt ist das Restaurant aber zu empfehlen. Die Burger sich sehr gut und reichhaltig. Eine Reservierung ist jedoch angebracht da man sonst Gefahr läuft draußen warten zu müssen. Im Vorfeld kann man einen schönen Spaziergang an den Landungsbrücken machen... inkl. Aussicht.....

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wenn man dort später am Tag oder Abends einen Drink nehmen möchte oder was essen möchte empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Mittags war es okay mit 5 min Wartezeit bis wir einen Platz an der Bar bekommen haben (haben nur einen Drink zu uns genommen. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Auf den ersten Blick teuer aber dafür bekommt man auch was geboten. Bei unseren nächsten Besuch kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Sehr coole Location, um gute Musik und leckere Cocktails zu genießen. Die Wände sind ein absoluter Hingucker. Die Burger sind solide, auf meinem BBQ Bacon Burger, konnte man die Sauce nicht erkennen und schmecken. Habe ich dann so gegessen. Sicherlich hätte man das freundliche Personal fragen können, doch die waren sehr beschäftigt. Die WCs waren im großen und ganzen sauber. Der Preis von rund 20€ rechtfertigt das Ambiente, aber nicht das Essen. Dennoch habe ich meinen 1ten Besuch genossen.

Great place with all the rock memorabilia. The cocktails are amazing, as is the food. Nicu recommended cocktails that matched our taste profile exactly and kindly offered to take a picture of the two of us. We accidentally forgot to give our Hamburg card before payment, for a discount. Our mistake, but our server Nicu went above and beyond to fix OUR mistake and get us the discount even after payment.

Nice place along the Elbe. Was able to sit on the rooftop to watch the traffice on the Elbe. Food and service was good along with the atmosphere.

The food was perfect as expected and the waiters funny and energetic (in a good way). I would definitely recommend this Restaurant for foreigners as well as locals and tourists.

Food was good. Service was good, nice place and historic inside. The store a little small, but because of the control was not crowded.

Generally Hamburgers are less friendly than their counterparts in Berlin, but they actually go out of their way to make amends later on. As in the Hard Rock Cafe, the first choice of table was not convenient but the waiters wouldn’t allow change till they were sure the area desired was open to all, even though there were already people eating there. But they came by later on and allowed the table change so all is well. The shop assistant at the Hard Rock Cafe store also allowed last minute shopping despite it being time of closing. Views of the Elbe entertaining as always

Great location by the waterfront. Good service and compact and cosy seating area inside. Usual Hard Rock food choice, well presented and consistent quality. Very popular so go early or make a reservation if you can to avoid disappointment.

This Hard-Rock-Café is quite nice with an amazing view of the river! Still it is not a a bar to spend a longer period of time

We had a reservation and everything was going on great. When we arrived upstairs the waiter asked us to wait on the side. We said that we had a reservation but he didn't seem to care. So we waited for a five minutes in the side where _he said_ we should wait, then he comes back with extremely aggressive and rude attitude and started asking "what don't you understand? I asked you wait on the side". We were so stunned and shocked by his rude tone of voice that we almost left. Then the other waiter comes to us and asked if we wanted to eat or just have a drink and I explained that we had a reservation and that I told the other waiter it already, so he's response was "ok, he's busy" like that was somehow normal behavior for him. They should really consider who they hire on that kind of job. I really felt sorry for the customers who had him as their waiter. Although service after that was excellent, food was good and the view was perfect!

Nice atmosphere, good music, perfect NY strip steak.

We arrived without a booking on a VERY busy evening. The guy on the front desk was LOVELY... Said he would do his best but we could be waiting a little while. We were seated within 5 minutes though which was a bonus. Our server was great fun and very attentive. Food tasted great and the pricing was reasonable.

Great Experience as always when visiting the Hard Rock Cafe's. Sadly we did not get our place with view on the river, like promised when making the reservation. But these things happen. Had the steaks which were amazing!

Everytime I travel, I like to go to a Hard Rock Cafe to check out the interior design and the various collector items, but this one did not deliver. The staff and the service was great as usual, so no complaint there, but the interior looks pretty bad, especially the second floor which doesn't have almost anything to enjoy visually and the music is horrible for something that contains "Hard Rock" in it's name, by the time I finished my meal, I was sick an tired of all the Pop music and it wasn't even the good kind. To sum it all up, great staff, good food, bad location and design.

Ah I am sooo in love with this place! Visited for the first time and enjoyed it so much, came the other day in the afternoon too:) amazing music, soo friendly and helpful service❤️ Truly became one of my favorite aming all other Hard Rock Cafes I visited

Nice location, but lacks in comparison to other Hard Rock Cafés in big cities. I like to look at the rock memorabilia, which are not so interesting in Hamburg. Nice view at the harbor from the inside. However, didn't see the roof terrace. Maybe it's even better there.

Went here for lunch last weekend. The food and drinks were very good. They were extremely busy, but the service was still prompt. Our server Christian was great!

Our server was lovely (I can’t remember her name now but she was a petite blonde with short hair). Very polite and friendly. Food was very nice and almost finished (too much for some!). I found cocktails were more sour than sweet personally - even ones I’d normally expect to be sweeter. Would visit again, please note a discount is available with the Hamburg Card.

All the staff at Hard Rock Cafe were really friendly. Among them, we were especially grateful to Jay. I was very happy with his service. Four seamen from South Korea finished their last night in Hamburg beautifully. We will miss Hamburg's Hard Rock Cafe.
