The carpentry museum is very inconspicuous from the outside. Since the entrance is via the cellar door, it is unfortunately not barrier-free. But once you're inside, people who are interested in the history of carpentry are overwhelmed. At least that's how it happened to me. This museum is not one in the classic sense. The workshop was preserved here after the end of a real carpentry business. There were certainly some changes, but essentially you can imagine the work based on the arrangement of the historic machines and the appropriately placed tools and accessories. It is worth it!

Old craft traditions can be experienced directly and tactilely. Bremen's first carpentry shop still with original machines from around 1889. Experience a nice tour and get a new look at this wonderful carpentry trade.

Carpentry, as it once was. Very well done. The tour was also very informative and exciting.

Very exciting “museum”. It's actually a real carpentry shop from around 1886. Everything is original and very exciting. All machines and devices work and can theoretically be started. Of course, due to the poor security precautions at the time, this is no longer possible to the full extent. Very nice operator. We got a good lead. Entry is free.

We were in the lead with seven people on September 2nd, 2023. It was just so exciting that we even forgot to take photos. A real highlight even for non-carpenters and non-craftsmen. Bremen's story told with wit, charm and specialist knowledge.

I was really surprised to find such an interesting museum in the middle of the district, which was once an active carpentry workshop with machines. A visit is definitely recommended..

Super interesting insights into the historical carpentry trade, delivered competently and with humor, also interesting for people unfamiliar with the subject. I'll definitely watch it again!

Very interesting exhibition of machines and equipment for wood processing. Unfortunately, there is no recognizable didactic concept that brings you closer to the tasks of woodworking and processing. The activities therefore remain abstract and incomprehensible. There would be more there.

The carpentry museum from 1889 is barely noticeable on a small street. The size of the workshop and the large number of machines, which are powered by a functioning transmission system with a steam engine, are very surprising. However, this is now operated electrically for demonstration purposes. As a carpenter, but also as a layman, you should have seen this.
