Ng Wanam is a hidden gem, in the market. This hole in the wall is an open secret for the locals, a stuff o legend (since I always hear it when I still stay in Batangas city) and it didn't disappoint. Pancit Wanam (Miki Guisado): 5/5 A different take for the traditional pancit miki. Honestly I expect it to look like canton style with only Miki noodles. It's worth the try. The pancit as I can describe it is a mixture of sweet and salty, like estopado if you are familiar with it. I'm not into pancits honestly (I only eat canton and chami 😅) but this one passed my palate. Recommended Roasted chicken: 5/5 The highlight for me. It reminds me of traditional hawkers style roasted chicken, but the best one. It's different from any quick service restos (inasal, andoks, chooks, savory) a unique taste. Highly recommended. Lumpiang Shanghai: 5/5 The classic. This should always be included in the order, as side to either of the above. And their different take for the sauce (ketchup but different) surprised me. Highly recommended as side.

Had dinner with my family. Menu is perfect for every ocassions or celebrations. Service was awesome and staff are accomodating. I love their fried rice and chicken, all food was amazing.

It's a little oily and the chicken is a little bit dry. I also tried their pansit best seller the solo comes in big servings for 90 pesos.
