Gem of a museum that has a small collection of warbirds, several of which fly. This has been the best experience ever of visiting such a museum. Firstly, there are no barriers, which means one can view spaces inside the aircraft unimpeded. Secondly, the lighting is good enough that one doesn't require a flash. Look around carefully and you will see signed artwork and many interesting objects around the hangar. They sell surplus parts, so it is great to pick up bits & pieces. But best of all, the staff at this museum are outstanding. They were really knowledgeable about their aircraft, but went above and beyond with the photography, providing ladders and moving away the placards and other objects on the eve of Thanksgiving without worrying about time. A big shout out to Noah for his help. Lastly, one can get up close with a B-25, an Avenger, P-40, a Mustang, Twin Beech and a reproduction Fw-190 among other aircraft. Visit if you can!

Definitely worth a visit. All the planes are still flyable and in immaculate condition. Volunteers are very well-versed about all the aircraft. The Warbird Flying Showcase was also an excellent time. It was awesome to see those vintage planes tearing up the sky!

I had the privilege of getting to see the Flying Showcase yesterday, 9/18 and it was the first time I have been to an airshow since I was a kid. Pure excitement, wonderfully restored aircraft and just am amazing event. There is so much care by the staff for the relics at the museum and the airworthy shape of the aircraft is just spectacular. The displays are informative and there is a special touch to all of them from where some are on loan from to the accounts from the staff on restoration, everything feels much more personal here than other museums where displays tend to stick to just information. The event itself was a no-holds barred event. Valet parking, included food/drinks from local trucks, socially distanced spots for viewing, an amazing experience that I will forever be thankful for. Please, donate here because the staff goes above and beyond in so many ways.

Outside of Cincinnati and resting in the comfortable burg of Batavia, there sits a hidden gem that is a must-see destination for all disciples of history. The Tri-State Warbird Museum is a facility dedicated to America’s flyers and their will and sacrifice in some of this country’s worst conflicts. Tri-State boasts one of the most impressive collections of peace and wartime aircrafts that you can find. Most of the aircraft on display have been meticulously restored to their original state and will give you a true sense of these awesome machines. This is history that you can touch. Alongside these aerial beauties, you will also find a collection of era vehicles that complete the set. You will want to arrive early! Tri-State is a volunteer run organization and, as such, has very limited hours on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays during the day. Visitors will want to allow themselves plenty of time to enjoy the vehicles on display, but also a myriad of other collections that include uniforms, posters, mockups, and more. You can experience the museum at your own pace, or you can elect a guided tour with one of the docents. You do not want to miss the P-51D Mustang, the P-40M Kittyhawk, and my very favorite, the B-25 Mitchell bomber. Check their website often as they have actual flying events peppered throughout the year. If you are impressed by these aircraft on the museum floor, just wait until you see them in the sky.

This was a great field trip. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved it that everything was so open and we were allowed to touch and look inside the planes. They had tables for a small group of us to sit & eat lunch. My 79 year old mom really appreciated seeing it all and we all loved the stories. Well done!

The Tri State Warbird Museum is a great little hidden treasure in Cincinnati. The aircraft on display are immaculately maintained and ready to fly. The staff and volunteers are friendly, informative and most are veterans. If you have an interest about WWII aircraft and military aviation history, this is a place you don't want to miss. Highly recommended

An excellent museum showcasing wonderful pieces of history. The aircraft are in great condition and the more impressive aspect is they get flown. There are many other historical pieces other than planes. Great job and thank you to all those involved in making the Tri-State Warbird Museum what it is.

Very knowledgeable volunteers! Stayed for a few hours and they told us about each plane. Had a cool collection of model ones too!

An absolutely wonderful experience walking with a guided tour from Larry. I can't say enough about how important places like this are as our veterans pass on. It's not a big place like Wright Patterson but it is a more personal feeling. I just ask that people keep their kids under control and teach them to respect the people, equipment, and history. We even bought a family pass for the year. Thank you again Larry!

Have brought my kids for the Santa fly in now two years in a row. It’s one of our favorite Christmas events! Watching Santa fly in is super exciting for the kids (and adults!!). My kids absolutely love all the really well thought out crafts. We also love how they call numbers to meet Santa so you don’t have to wait in line.
