Rooms could have been a little cleaner, temperature in the rooms could not be regulated, air was often blowing cold even when the heat was turned way up but they were good. Hot tub was broken and pool could have been cleaned better but again good, not great. Breakfast service and staff was poor. An hour before breakfast was over the server stated to many of us that she was not refilling anything even though everything was all but gone. The windows in the eating area are leaking and have been for a very long time based on the extensive amount of mold that is right next to your face as your trying to eat. This was not OK. I expected better from a reputable hotel like this one.

Management unengaged at this property…internet unusable due to constant drop outs, we were put in a room (rm 127) with a BLUE TV screen, upon telling the front desk that the TV was broken, we were told “it works, its just a blue screen”, the hot tub is still broken on December 10, 2023. Couldn’t watch SNF on NBC due to contract conflict. After a 10 day road trip across the country, this was the worst Marriott property we stayed at.

No extra coffee available in room. No luggage racks. Prior guest debris in room. Despite requesting housekeeping services, bed never made for 3 nights. Trash never emptied. Employees lounging all over hotel all the time., eating from buffet and then buffet depleted. Cigarette butts all over the patio. Pot smoking and loud rap on the patio. Outdoor fire pit not working. I would not stay here again.

Decent hotel with a pool and hot tub that we didn't get a chance to use, but they're open until midnight. Breakfast was okay with the regular waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal etc. They had a couple prepackaged breakfast sandwiches that I found to be the best option. Bathroom was clean with plenty of counter space. The room didn't get that dark and the bed was pretty soft so when one person turned, the other got rolled to the middle, so sleep wasn't that great but it was a decent hotel where you pay more for the name.

The check in staff where not helpful. I requested the pull out bed out bed but they refused to make it and would not being bedding up. They where not helpful with any aspect of my stay. The person serving food and night staff where extremely friendly. There are a few good restaurants near.

Just a quick in and out overnight in Fairlawn. The property was in good shape and offered breakfast from 6-9 am. The only negative was that our tv was on a cubed-LG no service screen. The desk couldn’t help, but I was promised that I would hear from member services about the problem. It never happened. It wasn’t a huge disappointment, but not what I expected from a Marriott property.

The hotel seems like the put a lot of effort in when you look from a distance, but there were a few things that really took from my stay. Firstly, the fridge is impossible. There is a button you have to press to make it come on, and then it only stays on for two hours. We have the last two slices of our wedding cake with us. I am afraid they might be ruined now because nobody told us that we needed to turn on the fridge, nor that it would only stay on for two hours. I may be ignorant in the ways of hotel fridges, but at least leave an instruction manual. Also, there were lots of other things that just didn’t seem up to par. Cob webs, lots of stains on all the carpeting. The washing machine was nice to have, but it was covered in old dried detergent. If I ever pass through Cleveland again, we won’t be returning.

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to check in and out and decent breakfast. Room was nice except sofa bed mattress wasn’t very comfortable.

The room was great, shower was amazing hot water and great pressure. Room was clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk, check in was kind and helpful. We stay at hotels that offer breakfast for a reason. There was barely any food out and what was out was unappetizing. No coffee!!! Come on-do better! Breakfast was a joke. Bring back the waffle machine or toaster with bread or bagels. At least make sure you have plenty of coffee!

This hotel was standard. The staff members were courteous and seemed to care about customer service. The room was okay. The shower needed some mildew/mold work. I couldn’t really eat the breakfast because it didn’t offer much in the way of healthy for people who don’t consume much meat or by-products of meat. They were professionally cleaning the floors and carpet while I was there. I didn’t see any creepy stuff in the room. That was good. It was super packed the two days I stayed there. I used the ice machine which wasn’t nasty. I didn’t use the pool or exercise room . I also didn’t use the elevators since my room was on the 1st floor. I’d go again.

The Pool is closed. There's no breakfast. These amenities are no longer offered due to "COVID", despite the fact they're not taking any other COVID precautions. Meanwhile, your room still costs the same as when the pool was open and there was free a breakfast. We get to the room to find it's unlocked and open. We're told that's so they can inspect the room after cleaning. Ok. That don't feel safe. Anyone could have gone into the room and waited for a guest to come in. Television didn't work. Called the front desk, was told to check the cords. Nope. No dice. They won't be able to fix it till Monday. Fantastic. It's all about customer satisfaction. Hillbillies in the lobby drinking a 12 pack of beer and wooping it up. Kids screaming in the halls. Either the ceiling is made of toilet paper or unsupervised children are dropping bowling balls on the floor. There's no bath mat, so the floor is an ice rink after your shower. Bring your own hair dryer, the one in the room wouldn't blow out a birthday candle. Umm the air conditioner worked. Bed seems clean.

Located close to the highways and a shopping center with restaurants. Service was great. Room was incredibly small it seemed, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the air conditioning to stop. It was absolutely freezing in the room. I shut off the wall/window unit, and set the thermostat on the wall to "off" but the ceiling vent blew cold air all night. We froze.

Stopped here for one night. Stayed in a double Queen room with a travel partner. Hotel is toward the end of the road, nearby ~5 other hotels, including Hiltons and other Marriotts. This was off of the highway, and seemed secluded and safe. There are a lot of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery/ convenient stores in the area. They served an excellent complimentary breakfast.

If you like to actually stay at the hotel you booked, don't stay here. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. I got to the hotel with a reservation made well in advance and was told at checkin that they did not have a room for me and they changed my reservation to a different hotel a quarter mile away. I was not given any advance notice nor provided any assistance in moving myself and my luggage so walked a quarter mile along a dark cold roadway to get to my room for the night. I later asked for compensation for the additional cost and inconvenience this cased me but all I was offered was that they would reimburse the amount they charged me for the stay I did not even have at the Fairfield inn. I still had to pay the full amount at the Courtyard which they moved me to. If I had not reached out they would have charged me twice for the same stay, not even at the hotel I originally made a reservation at.

We were only here overnight but we wished we had more time to enjoy this hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The service was very kind, patient and helpful even though we were checking in at 3:00am. The breakfast had a nice variety and included gluten free options. And the location is right off the highway with many restaurants, stores and gas stations nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

I feel the need to submit negative review - something I normally never do. I have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times per year for the past several years when I come visit a client in the area. Last week, my flight was cancelled and could not get into CLE. I called the hotel letting them know I would not be there, and could they cancel my reservation. The hotel manager immediately told me it was non-refundable because they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. He wouldn't even entertain working with me. Never will I stay in your hotel again. Congrats on losing a customer.

I have stayed in dozens of Fairfield Inns, and this is the best of them all. The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and the grounds were immaculate.

This is the best hotel we have used at this price point. Staff was super accommodating, room was clean and well maintained, pool while small was clean, and breakfast was the typical waffles and eggs etc. Would gladly stay again.

Was walk as a Titanium Member, and per the Bonvoy policy the property is suppose to Ultimate Reservation guarantee $100 check. Angela the General Manager has not responded to the email I sent on 12/30 asking for an update and has given me the run around. If this is how Titanium member are treated at this property I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. Keep in mind the date I was walked to a different property was 9/12 over 4 months ago. It should not take this long to get this resolved.

I stayed at this property and had a horrible experience. I emailed the General Manager and it's been 11 days and no one has responded. I had issues with rooms that I booked, (three in total), the cleaning service didn't happen, I changed rooms and thermostat didn't work and then there was a fight in the lobby. Trying to get assistance after 10PM was non-existent and again, it's obvious these people do not want to respond to negative experiences. I would appreciate a response but I'm not confident at this point. Stay away!

I was really surprised at how many amenities were in each of the rooms (microwave, fridge, coffee maker) and the bathroom was really nice. Staff was great too.

Another great stay at my favorite budget hotel chain. Room was very clean and sleep was very good due to terrific sound insulation.

🤬I stayed here 11-26-22 😡😫🤭 I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person. 🥴 Yes that’s how bad my stay was🤢from dirty bedding 🤮to The breakfast 😷 the muffins were very hard and stale 🥴even with them being in package makes me think they are probably expired and should have been thrown out, 🤔 only one coffee creamer flavor put out but when I asked the breakfast girl, for hazelnut she said OK sure I have some in the back 🗣🗣why is it not out for customers🤔 I was not thank for being a Titanium member and then was told I cannot have a late check out although I’m guaranteed one🤧 with my member status🙄 Then I attempted to make my own coffee in the room and the little coffee maker was dirty with someone’s old coffee pack still in it,,,🤯😩 then I attempted to just eat some leftover food I had from the night before , and the microwave was dirty🤮🤢 in then but not least the pool was also closed. I would have been better off at the red roof inn 🧐 My feelings first things first , general manager needs to be let go ‼️ , executive housekeeper needs to be let go for sure ❗️, these people are clearly not doing their job 😩franchise or not their bringing this hotel down. And of course I have pictures to back everything up 😉

For a Fairfield, I was disappointed. I have always had good experiences at Fairfields, and this one changed that. Numerous basic cleanliness issues that should not be happening in a hotel like this. Entire room was very "thrown together" with multiple pieces of random furniture. Beds were not that nice, air conditioner rattled like a Ford 5.4 3v engine with cam phaser and timing chain issues. When informing the front desk clerk upon checkout, his response was "again? We just got it fixed!" maintenance issues knock this place down to a 3 star.

Very helpful and nice staff. The room was comfortable and affordable. The breakfast was just ok. Nice pool, but the water was too cold and the hot tub wasn't working. Good location, even going into Cleveland.

I work for a transportation company and was at this hotel to transport wedding guests to and from the venue. Although I wasn't a guest, I did wait in their parking lot for several hours. The gentleman at the front desk was both welcoming and accommodating. I was invited to help myself to complimentary beverages, of which I had a coffee and a bottle of water. I was also able to use their bathroom facility as needed. Unfortunately I'm not sure what his name was, but he worked the afternoon of 9/17/22. As a person who spends their days on the road, I often have to count on restrooms located in businesses. Some employees are unwelcoming and tell me that their restrooms are for customers only.

Was really impressed by this hotel. The room was updated and felt clean, sheets were clean and bathroom was spotless. Felt like I was at a Hilton Garden Inn or Cambria but didn't have to pay exuberant prices. The breakfast was also surprisingly good!

Miss Joy at the desk is always a pleasure, as are ALL of the Ladies and Gents too there! This is one of few properties that still prides theirselves on doing things “The Marriott Way”! Cashmere is a one of many House Ladies there, who always appear to be going above and beyond when taking care of the rooms and guests too! (Although the rooms and halls COULD BE a bit more cleaner and fresher…My family and I really enjoy our stay there, when we do. Thank you all at the Desk, and in House Services for a delightful stay each time. 🙏🏾
