I had a really terrible experience at a hope hotel. It is a dirty and trashy hotel with racist staff members. Be aware. They lied about multiple complaints they never told us about and lied that they tried contacting us. What's worse is that I'm pretty sure they targeted me because of my race. I'm a person of color, and the way they were talking to me and treating me just felt really off. They called the police and had them come to my room. They searched my room without authorization and did not find anything. It was like they were just making things up as they went along. I feel violated and discriminated against. I've never been treated like this before, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing. That's why I'm taking action and sharing my experience with this racist hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel and was shocked and deeply disappointed by my experience. After being kicked out of my room, I discovered that the hotel staff had received completely false complaints about me. (I believe authorities showed up to the incorrect room based on their accusations). Despite my attempts to explain and prove my innocence, the staff refused to listen and ultimately forced me to leave. At the point this happened, I was sooo ready to leave anyways. This experience was beyond humiliating and has left me feeling incredibly angry and frustrated. It's alarming that the hotel staff would prioritize baseless and unfounded complaints over the dignity and respect of their paying customers. ($1342) As a result, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly never stay there again. It's deeply disheartening to see businesses treat their customers with such disregard and disrespect. If you are a Person of Color, I would recommend that you steer completely clear from this trashy hotel, as I fear that the authorities will be illegally commanded to search your room by hotel authority, based purely on your race alone! I sincerely hope that others do not have to go through the same traumatizing experience that I did.

Iโ€™ve stayed at nicer and cheaper two star hotels. Receptionist couldnโ€™t give us directions from gate 1A of base. Signs for hotel almost non-existent. Parking lot very dark. Outside entry door to first floor room sketchy and unlocked at midnight. Neither shower diverter nor drain worked properly. Full-size bed. Need I say more?

Staff is friendly ans helpful. Hotel is dated and overpriced compared to local market. Very convenient for base personnel though

I was there for a Blue Star Mother's food giveaway and it was a very nice experience. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Did I mention I won an RCA 43' TV in one of the raffles. Awesomely unexpected and I'm very grateful! Thank you to Geri Maples for her patience and kindness in organizing the pick up of my raffle prize

This hotel is just okay, but it's not terrible like I've heard some people complain about. My biggest dislike are the beds - don't stay here if you have back problems. The spring mattresses are fairly firm, so I asked for extra blankets which the hotel promptly delivered; those extra blankets worked really well to help me sleep better, but sleeping on top of comforters is ironically not as comfortable as sleeping on the normal sheets. More cons: - Speaking of sheets, mine feel super generic/cheap. They're also just OK, not great. - My shower head is leaky. The water pressure is fine, but some of it leaks down the wall. - My faucet in the bathroom has no aerator, so it sprays in almost every direction in the sink. I haven't taken the time to ask someone to fix it, because I don't really care that much. - The internet signal at the end of the 2F wing is really weak and sometimes drops out. It's works great just a couple doors down closer to the center of the building. - The cables behind the desk are a disaster. They could do with some velcro straps or something. - EDIT: I just downgraded my review to 2 stars (from 3) because this is the third day they did not have a hot breakfast available. The first time I was told the cook never arrived to work. Since a hearty breakfast is the staple of my morning, this is the third day I've been really upset with the hotel. Pros: - The staff are all very friendly and eager to help. - The breakfast is pretty good. It doesn't change day to day, but I don't mind, because it's always bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, and eggs. And it's all you can eat breakfast. (Disclaimer: I'm here for a class and I think the class is paying for the breakfast. I think you'd have to pay for the breakfast otherwise.) - Decent gym - A fine choice if you're working on Wright-Patterson. 1-minute drive onto Area A, 5-minute drive to Area B. - Fine amenities in the rooms: microwave, mini fridge, desk with office chair, table with two sitting chairs, and a lounge chair. I'm in a single Queen room. I saw a King room and it's even nicer with a couch and whatnot.

Forced to stay here for the Air Force. This hotel really should be condemned. The rooms all smell like mildew. The AC and refrigerator are so noisy, they keep you up at night. The mattresses feel like actual pallets. Pillows are a sorry disgrace. I don't understand how they get away with charging the same as the Holiday Inn down the street. Shame on this place for even existing. And shame on the Air Force for being in contract with them. An absolutely horrible place to stay while away from your family on drill weekends. If you have a choice, look elsewhere.

No cleaning or changing sheets. Buyer beware. If you are staying here more than 3 days they DO NOT ever change your sheets. You will be provided a bag of sheets so you can strip and remake the bed yourself. For over $100 a night, this is unacceptable. They provide all rooms the following document. If you are going to AFIT and have a choice, I do not recommend this for lodging. For the per diem nightly hotel rate, you can stay somewhere far nicer that does offer housekeeping on a regular basis. Pro: you do get clean towels Hot Breakfast is included Cons: - the internet is terrible. You cannot stream media. - the TVs are old and donโ€™t support any apps - the cable service is just basic cable.

The rooms are ok. Good if you just need a room. TV is a pain to try and change channels. The toilet. What can I say, I can say make sure the handle goes down and don't be shocked if it goes slow it will go down.

Friend's memorial service held here. Carey and her staff were excellent & very accommodating & made the event very special

A bit outdated bathrooms.. otherwise, a good choice when the bfast buffet is included, and I felt safer there than "civilian hotels", with their parking lot breakins.

I went there to attend a banquet event. The sound system needs a bit of work. It was hard to hear the presentation. Food arrived, but it was cold. They did not appear to have covers to keep it warm from the kitchen to the banquet hall. The taste was just ok.

Several of f my family were in town for the weekend, so we all stayed here. They took great care of us, gave us a very good price, and we were close to everything we wanted to do.

The Hotel is in an awesome location and the staff is great. The rooms are OK but a bit out of date. I was a tad disappointed at the channel lineup (cartoon network/ Adult Swim is listed but not available) and the WiFi speed was meh... The refrigerator was not very cold and not adjustable (luckily we brought our cooler and had an ice machine right outside our room) but the AC in the room had no issues with the 90+ heat outside. Would recommend but could use some updating.

As a military spouse I was disappointed to see what our military personnel have to sleep at, No free breakfast, No free coffee just to start their day with good fuel for a work day. And as a key spouse with a 6 month old baby, not much room to bring family along. Rooms are small and out dated, the heat is not consistent, not much for cable on TV. Bed was very hard. Overall itโ€™s durable, in any military situation you make the best of it and you power through whatever you need to do to make it work.

My mattress was lumpy. It smelled like men's cologne in my room. Also, a towel was on the floor upon check-in as if someone used it to wipe their hands and threw it down. The hotel needs some upgrades but it's ok if you're not staying long

Average at best. Lots of improvement needed here. Nice staff but that cannot makeup for the facility and maid service. I get it when it was 2020-2021 but itโ€™s time to bounce back.

Used the conference center for a wake. The staff was super helpful. The prices were reasonable. The food was excellent and the event space/room was clean. I would recommend this venue. The only confusing part was getting there. The driveway to the hotel is inside Wright Patt airforce base gate B. You turn immediately to the right to the access road, just before the security gate.

Rooms are absolutely awful. Hope-less Hotel is more appropriate. If you can imagine a hotel that was built in the 70s and last updated in the 90s (excluding the flat screen TVs plugged into coaxial cable)...this is the hotel. Whoever owns this property is just taking advantage of the proximity to the base...but it's awful. The only bright spot is the friendly and helpful employees at the front desk.

Convention center and on-site location are fine. The hotel, however, is terrible. Came here with a large group and near everyone had issues with their rooms. Toilets, sinks, or showers not working correctly, dirty beds and rooms, TVs not working at all or had zero channels, and a few had bed bugs. The beds were probably last changed out during the Reagan administration, there is a convenience area in the lobby but the prices are wild - $5.50 for a can of Monster? I would not recommend staying here.

Worst bed I have ever been on. Horrible location for morning traffic. Rooms are above per diem. No idea why students would ever be required to stay there.

Great location outside of base. Gate 12A is right beside this hotel. Good food options both downstairs in the attached pub and within driving distance. Relatively big room with all the accommodations we needed: big desk to work remotely, good size refrigerator, decent sized TV/variety of channels, etc. The bed wasn't super comfortable though. The shower had good water pressure and was able to heat up nicely. The hotel was outdated but in overall very good condition and clean. They have high quality water filters on every floor which was really nice. They also have a little store in the lobby that has drinks and snacks available for purchase. Last but not least, the customer service was outstanding and SO accommodating!!
