I understand it's a weatherspoons and the quality nationwide is generally is pretty average to poor. This weatherspoons was unfortunately poor quality in the food department. I will all the servers and bar staff were very helpful and friendly and this is not their fault. We ordered breakfast and used the intent order from table (my mistake). The problem was there was no eggs but you are not informed online so until it comes you are unaware. They stuck an extra hash brown on but eggs are pretty vital. It came with small portion of cold beans, cold sad mushroom and a cold tomato, no butter for the toast either but the server sorted that out for me. I have uploaded pictures to show I'm not exaggerating. I want to say I don't blame the staff for any of this, it's a very popular mainstream pub/restaurant so has large volumes to deal with. They always seem understaffed and under a lot of pressure. I blame Timothy Martin for his poorly run chain and think he should pay his staff more or at least employ enough for each pub he owns. I will return again one day and update this review if improved.

I feel bad leaving this review as the staff were very nice but this Wetherspoons is possibly the worst I've ever been in - terrible breakfast - cold and looked like leftovers from someone else's breakfast - no mugs for coffee - burnt toast - really disappointed

( Date of visit 9th june 14.07 ) Absolutely terrible place to eat, not sure who the chef is that was working today but he needs to be either sacked or retrained, not only the chef but the manager also as she was the one who bought the food to our table and allowed it to be served in such a bad condition. Our food was awful! Burt food on all three dinners. Will not be revisiting.

The only good thing of this place is the beer. Half of the menu was unavailable, and after we had already ordered we had to change one of the main dishes because it was out of stock. Funny thing is that while everyone else was already eating and we were waiting for that changed main, one of the waiters came saying that other thing was unavailable too. We had to ask for a refund. All the food served was either cold or not cooked properly. Terrible experience, but at least the waiters were kind enough

The worst Wetherspoon we ever been to. Curry was completely cold, hallumi tyle, grilled cheese was burnt and brownie with ice cream tasteless...

We went here twice during one weekend, it's got a great atmosphere and it was packed both times. However it was so efficient. It was quick to order and the food came out within eight minutes!! The staff were lovely and helpful, there was great organisation clearing and wiping tables. And the food was amazing! Well done Spoons once again!

Another Wetherspoons another good value meal.. Visited Bath on a rainy cold day and hoped to warm up in Spoons with a meal and drink. Unfortunately it was very cold inside, possibly had air con on. Being Thursday we ordered Kormas, and we were not disappointed, lovely, tasty and great value for money. The toilets are located on the same floor to the rear and these were lovely and clean. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. One particular manager was amazing, she had apparently been conducting interviews before coming onto the floor, she was like a whirlwind, cleaning and tidying.

Big but very busy Wetherspoon’s. We visited during the week and it was crowded. The usual food and good stuff. We didn’t wait for too long even with this crowd

Very, very busy, lucky to get a table and therefore understandably slightly slower service. Peppercorn sauce for steak was more "curried" than expected but wasn't unpleasant despite not quite being what was asked for. The fish and chips got a big thumbs up from the other party. Would visit again.

Bacon & egg roll & coffee under £4. Very good service & tables wiped - so all good. Left a happy customer

Often busy in this wetherspoons as lots of university students are nearby. Really good option for food and drink on a budget in Bath. Next to the cinema and right in the middle of Bath shopping and entertainment area. Parking lot is opposite. If you are on your own then get a table and order on the App , enjoy 👍🏼

Breakfast is always served fast and hot. No long wait for food. The best thing is the unlimited drinks (hot & cold). If you prefer cocktails with breakfast; this is the place.

Decent spoons located in the middle of Bath. Fast service and good customer service as always. £1.45 for unlimited coffees is a massive bargain. The fireplace in the middle is also a really nice touch, never seen that in any other Wetherspoons before. Would return again in future.

We had breakfast here and the prices are really accessible! The staff were really friendly and even checked up on us during our meal! They also have refillable coffee for less than £2 and you can have as many as you want, including lattes, cappuccinos, etc! Always a good choice when you don’t know where to eat!

My friend and I sat down for our meal and had to move as it was so noisy we couldn't her ourselves talk .we moved and Ordered our meal steak and jacket potato which is just what we got .no salad or veg I ordered and paid for more but both our steaks were under done with blood running out of it .not what I had ordered. The manager was happy to refund my money. Not the best experience I have had at the spoons normally they have been brilliant. May be the next time will be better

I love this chain of pubs. Unfortunately, this time it was terrible. The chips were greasy and tasteless, the fillets in the burger were burned. There were no boxes for food, they ordered food, but they could not take it with them. And the biggest negative is the lack of barbecue sauce. I have been to the pubs of this network in many cities, but this one was the worst.

I've been to a lot of wetherspoons, as it's my got place, but this palace wasn't good. Tables don't get cleaned, food was terrible, we ate at 8pm and the chips looked like they had been cooked 10 times , all crispy and dry, my wife asked for her steak medium, but was more cooked than medium, I ordered fish and chips, the chips were horrible and the fish was unbelievably small. The next day we went in for breakfast and my wife had to ask for cups as they were not brought to our table, and no condiments were available, the day after we went in for breakfast and they got the breakfast incorrect, so had to bring us our extra parts out again, also again my wife had to go and ask for cups. Yes we are gluttons for punishment going back 3 times, but we hoped it would be different.

Every table was taken as we went lunchtime,so it was busy. Yet, unlike some Wetherspoons the tables weren't sticky or food on the floor..it was pretty clean for such a busy place! The food came quite quickly and was well cooked and fresh. As always, good value.

The food reasonable for the price. Noticed the table I was sitting at haven't been cleaned should of taken a picture. When one of the food was brought over asked the man nicely if he could please wipe the table. I was astonished his reply move to another table then. Not professional of him found it quite rude to be honest. My friend bought a glass of wine and there was lipstick on it . Hygiene really important I feel.

It's a Wetherspoons, so expect a great selection of drinks choices and a rather large menu. First the positives: Service is prompt, the food is of a good quality (bear in mind not all 'spoons are identical), the toilets are very clean, and it's certainly affordable. However, pints aren't always coming out at the top of the glass, and several of the pitchers we had were below the fill line. Moreover if you're looking for a quiet night in Bath this is not the place, as the only Wetherspoons in such a large student area it's packed a lot of the time. Recommended due to the affordability.

Their jacket potatoes are usually tasty and come with a good variety of fillings. This particular filling wasn't as tasty as I would have liked, therefore I didn't enjoy it as much. This restaurant needs a decent cleaning and updating, just like every other location in the franchise. The empty tables don't appear to have been cleaned. To prepare for situations like this, we always carry some wipes. All Weatherspoons management please resolve this.
