The car park has had a recent upgrade and now shows you which rows have parking spaces and uses information boards and green and red lights to indicate spaces. However there is a lack of ticket machines especially when large crowds leave the nearby Forum venue all at once. No Wi-Fi in the car park to download the parking app to avoid the long ticket machines queue. Slow to get out of the car park due to volume of cars leaving at the same time and poor traffic lights timing’s when trying to join the main road. On the plus side very clean and bright.

Lovely day out shopping, loved the butterfly's overhead and the impressive planters. The Southgate shopping area is kept very clean and tidy. Had nice butterfly displays last year, and this year is equally colourful and interesting 😊

Went to the Christmas market in the centre of Bath. This was the first year we went earlier in December and I doubt we'll do that again. Car parks were all full so took 30 minutes to get a spot. Most of the stalls and vendors had extremely long queues so it was very slow moving through the market. As it was very cold we gave up and just walked around the city and looked at the nights. Don't get me wrong I love Bath, it's beautiful, I just think next year we will leave it until later in December, once the initial chaos is out the way.. 🎄🎅

Bath SouthGate Centre is my top choice for shopping and dining, thanks to its convenient location near the bus stand. It's a breeze to walk to various attractions, including parks, restaurants, and diverse stores. The place buzzes with energy, offering everything from your favorite brands to delicious eateries, all in one spot. However, be prepared for hectic parking on weekends - it's popular! I suggest using public transport to avoid the hassle. Despite this, the Centre's lively atmosphere, combined with its variety of shops and dining options, makes it a must-visit when in Bath. It's more than a shopping experience; it's a day well-spent!

Bath is such a lovely place to visit. The centre is busy and vibrant. People look happy. Take a break here if you can for a little break, you won't be disappointed.

Very clean and airy. Well laid out and I was pleased to see that they had really made an effort for Gay Pride month with the very colourful garlands above the streets. However Bath lacks any form of signposts to help tourists see all that the city has to offer.

This place is very nice and is located at heart of Bath. Also, I liked the car park which is very clean and easy in finding a parking space. At this location, I could reach most of the attractions within 20 mins. When getting hungry, there are plenty of restaurant to choose from different price range.

Lovely and Historic shopping Centre. It was very busy as it was Easter Saturday. Went to some great charity shops. I needed some short sleeved tops as the weather has really warmed up. Great choice of shops and friendly retail staff. There were buskers on the streets adding a great festive vibe. Lovely day out. Highly recommend visiting. Short train trip from Bristol.

Lovely Bath city centre which can be packed with tourists but has amazing amount of places to visit. Get the park and ride in though, the buses run every 15 minutes from Newgate park and ride or Odd down is good too.

Excellent location. Parking is available but tricky during weekend. Spend 45 minutes inside the car park looking for space.

As a local, i’ve seen the development of SouthGate, to be honest… I don’t like how they planned the layout of this. It’s an open space shopping area, so if the weather is not ideal, it’s better just go shop somewhere like Cabot Circus down in Bristol… there is a shopping building used to be Debenham’s that’s been empty for 3-4years now, what a waste of money.

Bath is a great place for some shopping. Great choice of artisan small business as well as usual high street brands.

Nice shops but more for the younger person. But love the buildings. Better than the old ones.

A good place to visit with a range of shops and newish seating area Southgate is very clean and tidy but can be very busy at times and also has underground parking but I often walk past it and it's full but there are other carparks close by

Great shopping and lovely atmosphere about the place. The downside was that it's rather hilly and parking is pretty grim. Went to Roman Baths which was a great experience and very educational. Need a couple of full days to explore the city.

Not a popular hobby of mine, shopping. Nice compact mainly pedestrian area though, plenty of shops, pubs & interesting places like the baths & Abbey. Actually enjoyed myself.

Absolutely beautiful place. This is how a town should be with lots of shops with a good variety of different items. One place you must visit is LL Hugs food stall.... You will not be disappointed. Its worth travelling from Wales just to go there believe me. We didn't manage to go into the places of interest due to it being so busy for Xmas so I will be going back.

Would advise ypu to arrive early as it gets VERY busy, plus it was Black Friday, so even busier. The Christmas Market was good and catered for everyone.

This shopping centre is just across the road from the railway station and near the bus station. I travelled by train so, it's ideally situated. There are a number of high street shops and places to eat, though I prefer to venture further up the road into the older part of the city. Check out the website for details of shops etc. and further information.

This is a must experience if you visited Bath, the water and the service and the feeling is outstanding ... the place is well maintained and managed by the team. The staff are professional and helpful. You don't need to bring anything with you except for the swimsuit, they will provide you with towels, flipflop and bath robe, you will enjoy each second between the hot water and cold water and the rooftop Even when you finish you can find the cloth dryer in addition to the hair dryer for the ladies They also provide the showers with Shampoo, Conditioner and shower gel. Hats off to each and every person behind such magnificent place.

Bath is the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. Buses run from Bradford on Avon every hour ish

As good as anywhere. But towns seem to be dying and the variety of shops that once made town centres a destination location are no more. So five stars is because as town centres go this is good but whilst we used to visit several times a month now only when we must.

Beautifully decorated, streets adorned with colourful bunting and flower-filled traditional red telephone boxes dotted around the street. A variety of different shops and grand architecture.

The Bath Stone used for the Southgate is unreal. It’s so stunning and gives the entire area a unique vibe.
