A wonderful experience. My partner and I were greeted with a lovely welcome and were promptly taken to our table. After a minute we were offered a table upgrade as it was a special occasion, to which we were both delighted and happily accepted. Staff were extremely polite and professional, pointing out the specials menu and paying particular attention to any allergies or dietary requirements. Food and drink arrived promptly and cooked to perfection. Brilliant value for money and neither of us could fault the food at all. Communication between all of the staff was brilliant, and from the quality of our food, it was obvious this applied to the kitchen as well - we cannot praise the staff enough. Overall, we are extremely impressed with our time here at the Ivy Bath Brasserie, from the quality of the food, to the professional and friendly service. Even the decor was perfection, all culminating to create a beautiful experience that we are very grateful for. Thank you to everyone who provided this exceptional service.

It is such a treat going to the Ivy, it feels special. And the Bath Brasserie is no exception. We dined in the front room, with high ceilings decorated in their traditional form. Service is friendly, informal but classy. There’s a stack of menus to peruse wine, food and cocktails. Prices are what you’d expect and the food arrived fairly quickly. The unusual choices are why I like it and the servings are to be savoured. It was delicious! If your needing a giant size comfort feed up it’s not the place to go to. My only gripe was the piped music. Too loud and totally out of keeping to the environment, it kind of cheapens the ambience. I noticed it in the Covent Garden Ivy too. Please change that Mr Ivy!! We’ll be back.

Lovely place for lunch. Decor was lovely and atmosphere was relaxing. Food was perfection. Service was great. I have the green juice and fish and chips. I also had a truffle and parmesan chips. Everything was perfect. In the dinner menu there is halal chicken. But the lunch menu did not have halal options, although there were plenty of vegetarian options.

OMG!! . Booked a table, arrived early, asked if they minded us eating earlier. No problem. . Dealt with professionally. . Most excellent food. . Service was fantastic. The kind of service that I expect from any restaurant where we are paying guests. Professional! . White wine served in an ice bucket. Poured by the waiting staff. . I could go on and on and on!! Another Bath restaurant worthy of a 5 star review.

Visited in September 2023. 4.5/5. We came to celebrate a 60th birthday and nothing starts the day right than breakfast at The Ivy in Bath. It was a delightful blend of delicious cuisine and vibrant ambiance. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the lively decor that set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. Opting for the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, it did not disappoint. The eggs were creamy and perfectly cooked, complemented beautifully by the rich flavor of the salmon. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied. Plus, they brought out a birthday treat, which was well received. The decor of the restaurant was fun and vibrant, adding to the overall charm of the dining experience. The service was fairly attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. While our experience at The Ivy was fantastic overall, rating it 4.5 stars because of the delay in our main meal, despite it not being that busy.

A semi regular lunch and dinner spot for me and somewhere i happily recommend to others. I adore the shepherds pie. The staff are always so friendly and a pleasure to interact with and a lot of them seem to have worked there for quite a while, its nice to see some of the same faces on return visits.

Beautiful decor and lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and hardworking. Had a great experience but I really didn't enjoy the food. Had gluten free so some leway given for that fact but it was all just very dry and bland. The tea was lovely and my friends who had the regular afternoon tea really enjoyed it. Quite a hefty service charge but staff worked hard for it.

Amazing food! The starters had to be the highlight of the meal as they were incredibly tasty. They also sent out a free special occasion dessert for us which was a lovely surprise! The only thing that could be improved was our seating- we were very close to the tables either side of us which felt rather claustrophobic.

Nice atmosphere, very nice that they gave us a nice cake for our anniversary. Just one thing, when we are dining - I can hear staff talking about their personal lives or chatting around ramdon stuff - because we are just sitting next to them. It be nice if staff would just not chat around where customers can hear. I came here to celebrate our anniversary, not to listen to other personal lives.

We had a terrific meal at The Ivy. I tried the blood flowers margarita and Oasis cocktails. I preferred the later of the two. I ordered for my starter the severn and wye smoked salmon and for my main course the salmon and haddock fishcake with crushed pea and herb sauce with a soft poached hen’s egg and watercress. The fishcake was delicious. I also ordered a side of creamed spinach. I had the Eton mess for dessert, which just might be my new favorite dessert. I can’t wait to try to recreate it at home. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Our waitress was excellent. The restroom facilities were very clean.

Literally one of the best restaurants I’ve dined at. The staff were polite, attentive and professional. The food was exquisite and I could not fault it in any way. I ordered the Korean Chicken and it was out of this world…my partner had the duck curry and his was gorgeous too. We’re just sad that we were only visiting Bath so won’t be able to dine at The Ivy Bath Brassiere more often.

Came here with my group of girls for a classy hen night dinner, and it was everything we could've wished for. Our waitress was simply amazing and so fun and accommodating. Food was all delicious, I had the fish cake with mash and greens for a side and got a fancy gin cocktail to accompany. The venue is as expected, simply stunning in its design and we felt so fancy being there. Would definitely recommend.

Very good service and the food is wonderful. Family friendly with caring staff. Really lovely food options and if you are a vegetarian, they will mix a few things up so you can enjoy a wonderfully prepared meal.

Exquisite dining at a sympathetic price on the 2 course menu. Side options and desserts as reasonable extras. Fine dining with excellence. Beautiful décor with a vibrant palette and eclectic mix of art, ranging from detailed plasterwork to modern vibrancy. Sumptuous cushions. Comfy snugs and chairs available. So enjoyable!

Breakfast. Initially good service but as it got busier the service became less attentive. Couldn't attract any waiters so had to go to the serving station for sugar for my coffee before it hit cold. Waited an age to catch someone's eye for the bill, fortunately it was a leisurely breakfast but sitting for 20 minutes with empty plates was a little excessive in a place like this. Eventually I went to the servers area to get the bill too..... But the food was good.

We went in to the Ivy with no reservation at 2pm on a Saturday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They were full, but managed to find us seats at the bar, right in front of where the cocktails were made. This almost made the experience on its own, and it was fascinating to watch the bartender make all the different cocktails. The attention to detail was amazing. We had the best time! The waiting staff were polite, attentive, and couldn't have been nicer. Cocktails were the best we've ever had, and the food was amazing. We had the American pancakes and blackened cod fillet, both excellent. We shared the fig and pistachio feuillete, and that was also excellent. It's difficult to describe how we felt afterwords, we had the best time... buzzing would be about right. We don't have the money to do "posh" that often, but this was definitely worth the money.

Went here for Breakfast, It was a great experience overall. The staff were very welcoming, smart & efficient. The decor and layout is very stylish and interesting. The food was excellent and not even that expensive. Best to make a booking.

Food was soo nice, atmosphere was amazing and the staff were so lovely, I didn’t like the cocktail I chose so they swapped it for me free of charge! I added in the booking that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and and they sang happy birthday to him and gave him a profiterole dessert free of charge without me having to ask! Was very happy with the service and quality of food here, although a bit on the pricey side I definitely recommend

No words can describe the quality of food, the quality of service of this place. The perfect choice to celebrate a fine dinning experience in Bath. The staff showed an outstanding service from the moment we entered till the moment we left the place. We ordered 3 salads: The Zuccini, The Crispy Duck and The Mozzarella dish. The ingredients engaged all our senses to create the best taste After that we had to order the chocolate bomb which really is a bomb to your taste budds. I highly recommend this place to dine in when you are in Bath.

Had an impromptu but amazing lunch today. Thankfully managed to get a table and you know it’s a good place when it’s rammed at 1pm on a Thursday! We were served by a man named William who was funny, charming and provided above and beyond what would be expected even of somewhere like the Ivy. The food was superb and the set menu especially was extremely good value. We will be returning as soon as we can, thank you for an awesome experience.

I requested a table outside, nobody even mentioned if that was possible and when we asked they said they had been booked, although I had not seen that option on booking. Apart from that food was great, and service as well. The soufflé was incredible, as well as the fillet steak.

17 November 2023 Bath. Went here as with my darling wife as we were xmas shopping. Most of our kids have, we thought we would give it a try. I was most impressed with décor and 1st class service. I had the Duck Curry, WOW!!!! The most wonderful food experience @ only £22-00. My wife had salmon fish cakes, which she loved., she had a mince pie for desert. For desert I had Christmas pudding, flambéed, but it was not covered with brandy up was not ignited. My only point to the Ivy in Bath is the gents toilet pan could do with a LOT of bleach.

Highly Recommend!! We went here for my Mrs Birthday lunch (Afternoon Tea and Cocktails) and it was top notch! Afternoon tea £29 each but well worth it! Get up on the terrace if it’s a nice day, they have plenty of heater/ blankets to dish out. We will be returning next time we are in Bath! P.s the waiter was a right crack 😅
