Absolute Bowie. What a great night. A fantastic performance. First visit since change of hands and it's going well. Good atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, attentive staff keeping the place tidy and the audience informed. Good natured punters. One pointer, if you book VIP seating, you may still need to stand if every other seated audience member gets on their feet. Common sense, but it seemed to cause friction on the night.

First time here.. brilliant venue and Karl who was fantastic definitely go again and support his business..he works so so hard. Had a great afternoon watching Elvis tribute..

This is a great venue for live music. The perfect size for me. Large enough for a decent crowd but will still give a good intimate atmosphere when only a third or half full. Sound quality is very good. Drink prices are reasonable and I have always found all the staff to be friendly and respectful. Great to have this venue nearby as it attracts a good variety of bands.

News year's Eve 2022. £8 a ticket included a great buffet. Live band, Freddie Mercury tribute. Really good layout, pretty packed and a great atmosphere. Credit to staff and owners for providing a great night.

Great venue for gigs ...brilliant acciustics ...bar is decent prices and staff are all friendly ..over all great place to listen to some live music ..we are planning to but tickets for several planned evenings

Went to see Absolute Bowie last night with daughter. What a great show. Busy and with a fab atmosphere. Top nights entertainment.

All tables and chairs been taken out I took 3 differrent lagers back because everyone of them was pure flat £4.70 for a pint of water.even the bud from the fridge was flat as though it was years out of date.wasnr like that when it was warehouse23.shouldnt be allowed to sell it.shame cos band called mallice was great to watch.but wouldnt go again cos of the drinks

Fantastic music and entertainment venue. Brilliant staff and prices for shows and drinks are at realistic prices. Not over inflated like many. Management very helpful.

Bryan Adams tribute fantastic. Can't believe sound engineer got it so wrong for Def Leopard left after 2nd song as it was killing my ears.

This venue is fantastic! We had a brilliant evening watching the Queen tribute at Venue 23 and also recently hired the venue for a corporate event. Karl, Stuart and the Venue 23 team are very professional, fabulous musicians themselves and really care about providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending their shows.

What a great place and totally disabled-friendly. It is brilliant to visit somewhere with live tribute bands and feel accepted. I have been to see Fleetwood Mac, and tonight, Meatloaf. I have to say that, although Fleetwood Mac we're good Meatloaf we're amazing. Can't wait to book again.

Nice music venue with top tribute acts but the tables are too close together,remove some of the tables and charge a little bit more !

What a cracking venue this place is . Excellent stage and lights. Good bar and a good all round vibe. Went to watch Quo Connection , who play proper Quo album tracks from the seventies and play them how they should be played . Hope Venue 23 get them back they were excellent. Top night out.

Went to se The U2 Experience. Band, staff and venue were great. If you want somewhere to go to see tribute bands this is the place. Will be going again.

Just been to see Mark Summers as Elvis and he was great, I'm not really an Elvis fan but this guy is an all round entertainer. Will defo be going to see other acts.

Just been to the opening. Great music and atmosphere. Cool people too. Tonight's band, an Oasis tribute band, was a total hit. Looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend it.

It was ok. We won a prize on the raffle for 2*tickets to a gig of our choice. But could only redeem on Facebook after we talked to Carl. We don't have Facebook so no good to me. Pity because I wanted to take my disabled sister ticket number was 301. Sun 18/12. To one of the events on offer. Apart from that it's a chilled out place and they have good gigs in. So yeah recommend it to anyone and I may have had a bad experience.

Went to watch a stranger things tribute show by a band called Tytania. It was great. Great venue

Great venue, great bands, great atmosphere, large venue but still feels quite intimate. Enjoyed the Roofops night, need more club nights like that one, with Wildcat and Silverbullet 🤣

The makings of a great gig venue without the expense normally incurred at those larger venues. It's up to us to all to support such places, and maybe they will then get well known and original band to perform. Well organised and really clean premises and more than acceptable to take the wife along (thought there would be sticky floors and don't dare sit down on the toilet seats 😂).

I haven't got a FB account to say how sad I am about this. Live in Barnsley but this was a local venue to me. Safe, well run, great sound and the opportunity to see top bands in a small friendly city. All the best to Joe and please attend the rearranged gigs in Birdwell Barnsley folks and don't ask for refunds. It's also safe friendly great sound, free parking and on bus route. Message to bands too there's more to Yorkshire than Leeds

Excellent venue, beer isn't too expensive and parking is fairly easy, excellent curry restaurant over the road too...

First time every been went to see Martin Kemp was not disappointed ,great 80s music

One of the very best small music venues in the country. Fantastic layout, great acoustics. Some big name bands have appeared here. Saxon, Wheatus, Toyah Wilcox, Peter Hook to mention a few and some superb tribute bands, have all performed at this great venue. It really does deserve to be packed out when we get back to being able to watch bands again.
