Our room was ok. The bathroom "window" could not be closed. The climate in their was tropical. The room was spacious and the AC was running. In front of our window was some kind of bar, which was inactive at that time. The air in the room was really bad as soon as you turned off the AC. The stuff was really helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable.

Not recommended. Unclean washrooms, hot water is not working, torn bedsheets and pillow covers, not very secure place.

Booked this place to one of my friends and he informed this place is not good. The bedsheets were torn and the service was not good.

Extremely pleasant and peaceful setting. This is the location to stay if you want a cheap place to stay. Also accessible and located close to the center of Colombo. Excellent service and don't forget to try the morning tea

The staff was really nice and friendly. The room wasn’t as clean as expected, especially the floor. A mosquito vaporizer was available, so that’s a plus. The location was ok, approximately 6 km from the city center, so it was no problem to get around the city with a Tuktuk.

Worst room I ever stayed I am not a usual guy who makes reviews but I have to tell This I never recommend this hotel for any one who booking online even they are not providing a small piece of soap or cup spoons anything else very bad experience for me if any one wants to there place go and look the rooms and availability of thing and after that decide to pay not worth for money simply waste

They allowed us to check in early. thank you for that. The room was not as good as we expected. It looked better in the photos. Location was good. Not in the city center, On a quiet street outside the center. There is a supermarket 100 meter away. It cost 500-600 rps. to go to the center by tuktuk. (PickMe and Uber) Air conditioning works well. Hot water was ok. Wi-Fi was very bad we could hardly use it.

Had a appointment at the doctor's didn't find a decent place to rest until I found the hidden gem, this place is so homely and inviting to stay more but I must say amazing owner Nadun with exceptional service by care taker . Will recommend to any one .

Great hotel, the location is great, in a very calm place. You can easily catch a bus which will bring you to the center in 20min for 90 rs. A lot of good restaurants around. A fridge is available, with facilities to cook. The room was clean, so confortable and the staff is lovely ! For this price, you can't find better in Colombo (I've tried a few and this is definitly my favorite) See you soon ! Alie and Louis

Very convenient location, walking distance to a food city, few cafes, Asiri hospitals, fuel station, CR grounds and havelock grounds too. It's safe for solo travellers as well. Small common pantry with a fridge, a microwave, toaster and the utensils, for anyone who wanna make their food, and convenient to order food, because of the location. Spacious rooms are with AC, and TV and WiFi. The surrounding is calm. So I managed to do my zoom classes in the quiet environment. Washroom was old, but clean and you get shampoo n bodywash, if you don't take your own toiletries. While I was there, they brought things for renovations for the washroom, so hopefully it'll be done when I visit next time. Manager, Mr. Nimal was very helpful and supportive. Drop Inn is a safe place, which is worth for the price.

This place was amazing. The entrace was so good and all the fishes were mesmerising. The room was quite spacious and they had great decorations and pictures on the wall. The rooms on 1st floor also had a balcony.

Firstly, thank you for early check in it was really good option and we’re glad for that. Room was big but not perfect. Unfortunately, wifi is really bad. I’m working remotely and I couldnt work with WiFi. It didnt work very well, I had to use my internet connection all the time. Bathroom needs repair because its old and water tap couldnt close. Also, we’re staying ground floor and I woke up because of a young guy worked in reception. He talked with phone loudly.

Good, cheap room out of the hustle from Colombo center. The receptionist was the best! We could leave our luggage there for one week without any problems. Will go back.

Amazing hosts and very good location. Rooms, towels, and beds are very neat. The host Nandun is great in looking after the guest and helper Nimal is also good at receiving and helping with any doubts. I would definitely recommend this.

Price was good, kind and friendly receptionist, good air conditioned, big rooms. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like on the photos, it's rather dirty inside, lot of dust and hair, dirty pillows, the washroom is in bad condition as well.

If you are trying to buy a meal, this is one of the best places in this area that you do not wish to miss.. 🥪🥪

The Location is excellent as it is close by to restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very spacious,clean,and modern with air conditioning and hot water.Also there was Nescafe and a kettle in the room. The owner was very friendly and flexible. The free wifi offered was also very good. The common balcony, TV lounge and the kitchen was also great. Overall this is a good place! The bathroom could be improved and renovated more and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Also, the guitar in the TV lounge was missing some strings.

It's a budget friendly Inn suitable for short stays. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The patio area was not that clean but was ok for the money I paid. The showe and the toilet is outside the room (private access) facing the patio. The guy whos looking after the place is friendly and attended to every requirement we made. Recommend for single nights, Layoffs and stuff. The location gets 5/5 for being in the center of colombo. As per my knowledge they don't offer food. But there are nice restaurants nearby youcan ubereats/ pickme food from any of those. Not recommended for long stays tho.

im not one who usually leave reviews, but this place was not good at all. the receptionist hardly spoke a word of english and i was put off when they asked for the money up front, this was the first time that ever happened to me on my two trips to sri lanka. but i was tired and agreed to pay three days upfront. i soon understood why they insisted on that though, the room was dirty and had stains and mold on the walls, the bedding felt like it was used and i got a bad vibe from the place. im an experienced traveller of more than 60 countries and not easily put off by a place, but this really didnt feel good. i stayed for half an hour while i searched for a different place to stay and left without even asking for a refund. i just wanted to get away.
