I stayed for one hour before deciding to leave due to the facility being unsafe, unclean, and unprofessional. First, when I got to my room, the door was not closed/locked, because the lock was broken. When I initially checked in, receptionist was on her personal cell phone having a conversation about wiring money to a friend -- when I called her to ask for a different room with a working lock, she was no where to be found. The operator/front desk line was busy and no one was at the front desk at all. Second, there were no towels in my room. Not a single towel. I called the receptionist multiple times to tell them about the lock but also for towels. I called for half an hour when she finally answered, she failed to address the door lock problem but did say she would send down towels. I waited for about half an hour before calling again. She apologized and sent some down immediately. The young women who delivered the towels was with a BAREFOOT wearing only a skimpy bathing suit cover up and handed me two towels which were not folded; it was as though she picked up some towels off of the floor and brought them to me. Third, there were a lot of loud people loitering between the front of the hotel to the lobby of the hotel and then into the halls of the hotel; it seemed to be the same group of 6-8 people. There was a parked car which was turned on in front of the entrance of the hotel with people just hanging in it from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. These same loud 6-8 people were just going from smoking outside to hanging in the lobby to loudly talking in the halls where the rooms are; this is quite annoying when your hotel room door won't lock. I felt unsafe. Additionally, the elevator was broken. I called Baymont's customer service immediately to see if I could just cancel my reservation so I could leave. They did file a complaint but told me that there was no guarantee that I could get a refund. I left the hotel and booked a room at the Marriott a few miles away. When I arrived to the Marriott, I realized that I didn't have my ID - the receptionist at the Baymont forgot to hand me back my ID when I checked in - probably because she was busy making a personal phone call during the entirety of my check-in process. TL; DR: Hotel room door wouldn't lock, no towels in room when I got there, couldn't find the receptionist to rectify either problem, loud people loitering in the front of the hotel and from within the halls of the hotel, broken elevator, and barefooted hotel staff.

I wish I could give this hotel a zero. Do not stay here. We are 2 days into a 5 day stay and the hotel is disgusting. The floors are gross and sticky, bathroom is stained and gross, shower curtain is ripped apart. The are stains on the wall the look like feces. We came back after spending the day at the beach and there were NO TOWELS in our room. We went down to ask for towels and they said they don't have any and we would have to wait until 10pm to receive any. The breakfast is sad and you may as well plan on eating out because you will not want to eat what they have. I am just praying at this point we don't bring bed bugs home. Do not stay here. Please don't bring your kids!!

Our stay started with fantastic customer service- we were treated to kindness, respect, friendliness, and clarity despite the nasty weather, ringing phone, and us being a late evening walk-in. And our pooch and cat were welcomed as warmly as we were! Our room was impeccably clean with a very neat/tidy appearance- the all wood floors were shiny and free of any dust or debris, the mirror was spotless, the beds beautifully made, and the bathroom sparkling! The comfort was beyond what we expected- the beds were perfectly firm and there were three big, fluffy pillows on each bed. The room was set to a toasty 74°- perfect for coming in from the blizzard and comfortable when wearing a wet swimsuit. Speaking of swimming, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the pool was the perfect temperature! It wasn't freezing like we ere expecting it would be- rather, it was a very refreshing and relaxing just-warmer-than-body-temperature. We haven't had breakfast yet, but the dining area is the cleanest I've seen in any hotel, and the spread looks promising. The all night coffee bar in the lobby is a welcoming touch, and there were plenty of cups in the room for our family. All in all, this is significantly better than we ever would have expected a 2-star hotel to be! What's not to love?!

This hotel is disgusting. The highlight, I guess, was the free breakfast which was very good. Our AC barely worked. The sheets kept coming off the bed. The floors throughout the hotel were filthy. My wife forgot slippers and walked to the lobby to get breakfast and back to our room. A picture of the bottom of her feet is attached. People were actually leaving to go to another hotel as we checked in. Staff was friendly but obviously there isn’t much cleaning going on. Do not stay at this hotel. Definitely overpriced!

The employees there are exceptional! So a huge thank you to the employees there!!! But the rooms are disgusting. I don't think that it's fair that the employees have to work in a place like that. Why the owner of that establishment sees that it's okay to have people stay in those kind of disgusting rooms is belittling. We got there at 3:00 a.m. we were tired. We had just driven close to 10 hours. They're definitely will not be a next time!

If You were a guest at this hotel on The night a Woman was assaulted by 5 Heathens in the now re named Jerry Springer lobby , You should demand and receive a full refund. I did! Your safety was compromised. Ask to review the safety protocols And the video footage. You're not So.... https://youtu.be/XEKnJQxYODo? si=UvlYaBsQkI92D67z

DON'T STAY HERE... Absolutely the worst! We arrived and the room they put us in had been smoked in. The excuse was "we have a maid that cannot smell." They moved us to another and we were so tired. I noticed the popcorn ceilings were falling and I checked the beds for bugs. The air conditioner didn't work. I walked my dog in the middle of the night and there were people loitering all over, and I could smell the drugs! In the morning I noticed a black tar-like substance on the night stand... (heroin residue?) There was also a yellow gooey substance on the desk (meth residue?). The breakfast consisted of white hockey puck-like substance (eggs?) and gray sausage. Staff told me that they would move me to another room. When we returned later that day they had not made arrangements. The person there said "they keep putting people in that room, knowing the air doesn't work" We checked out and left. We stayed the rest of our time with a family member. Then the bites showed up. The room did have bedbugs and it cost us a small fortune to deal with the aftermath of that one terrible night stay.

This was by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. If you have a choice between sleeping here or in your car, CHOOSE YOUR CAR. My 1st sign should've been when I was checking in and the front desk staff are openly discussing how a customer was arrested last week for beating some man with a bat 🤦‍♀️. We stayed in a "Deluxe" king room for the "jacuzzi". The room was disgusting, toilet and shower wasn't clean, carpet was sticky and the AC barley worked. The TV didn't work and to top off the whole experience, the jacuzzi we paid extra for couldn't even be used because the water pressure was so low and slow it would've taken an hour to fill and there was NO hot water coming out of the faucet. Then I woke up to a spider the size of a quarter at least, on the wall next to my head. Needless to say, we will not be back and DO NOT recommend staying here. The best part was the Cracker Barrel next door.

Was driving for hours and needed somewhere to rest that was nearby since it was so late. Got a double bed queen suit (for 5 people) and the front desk person was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed sheets seemed pretty clean too. Everything was stocked up and I didn’t see any issues that other reviewers have mentioned. I would stay here again without a doubt!

While the staff was great, the facility was a dump. Within 10 minutes we had 2 rooms with separate issues. One room had a window open that wouldn't close and the other had a toilet that wouldn't flush. The hotel is extremely run down and dirty. We left immediately after the 2nd room issue. The front desk commented to another staff member that they needed to fix the list of issues they have. Our kids said they wanted to sleep in the car instead of the room. Would definitely not recommend.

I hate that I can’t give them no stars. This place is a literal embarrassment to the Wyndham name, and I’m not sure how they can even get away with letting people PAY to stay in such a disgusting place. We first walked in to the lobby smelling like marijuana, should’ve been my first clue but it’s legal here so why not? Walked down to check out the pool, and that hallway smelled like cigarettes. Went to give my 4 year old a bath, filled up the tub and saw nothing but pieces of BUGS floating around from the drain.(I could literally see the legs, antenna etc), there was dirt caked into the corners of the room and bathroom, stained towels, no hand soap, and we all woke up covered in bug bites! We went down to speak with the manager the next morning, and asked if we could just cancel our second night and leave, they told us they don’t offer refunds but they could switch our rooms or give us LESS THAN HALF of our nightly rate back. We decided to switch rooms and make the most of it, we got into our new room and saw there was still dirt caked into the corners, a literal cum stained office chair, and an arm chair that had just as many stains, and boogers or poop smeared on the wall next to the toilet. The bed had no protective cover on it and the sheets they had didn’t even fit so we ended up with a bare mattress by morning, which is when we got to see alll the yellow stains the mattresses had! The remote control for the TV didn’t work, and the handwritten paper they had to tell us how to fix it, had something smeared across it. We went down to the pool and saw that the awful blood red paint (clearly not water resistant) had almost completely peeled off and was floating around in the pool. Then while walking thru the entry way to the pool, the ceiling was leaking so bad that the ceiling tile literally collapsed at my feet FROM THE CEILING. There was no pool towels most of the stay, no changing the garbage or vacuuming in common areas, and the front desk ‘manager’ Jenn G spent more time smoking cigarettes outside than handling any part of her dirty decrepitating hotel. Side note: the front desk guy Cody seemed like he was actually trying his best to maintain the issues that were presented, but you can only do so much with a property that’s falling apart at the seams. I’m honestly so disappointed in this entire stay, and the hotel could care less as long as they have your card on file.

Pop and snack machines empty. Rooms not completely cleaned old bed sheets were left in our room from previous person stay. In feel sorry for what little bit of staff this hotel does have. They were all very friendly and doing the best they could on a busy holiday weekend.

First and foremost DO NOT GO here! This is a ZERO star hotel. It is beyond filthy. There are stains on the carpets and walls, wallpaper is ripped off, the rooms are unclean with furniture that is stained and falling apart. The doors of the rooms are off hinges and the locks do not work. There are drug deals happening in this area. The staff is unprofessional. The manager does not know how to handle important issues. This is in a bad area and the place is so run down. It is cheap, and please keep in mind there is a reason why it is so cheap.

Don't plan on watching TV only one channel available. The vanity area was very dim. The ceiling above the hot tub looked like it was going to cave in . And a spot above the bed that looked almost as bad. The light fixture on the wall didn't work . The toilet wobbles when you sit down on it . They had coffee packs so you could make coffee if you had a maker to make it . That was probably the icing on the cake. I didn't really want to go down to the lobby for coffee . However it was quiet . Oh the lady attending the front counter did offer to move us to a different room over the TV. You had to go down to the front counter if you needed anything because there were no phones in the rooms . At least the employees were kind .

This hotel is awful. Staff is always out front smoking and hanging out. Bed was bowed out on the sides and you sunk in deep when you laid on it. Bathtub kept draining and wouldn't hold water. The room was relatively clean if you didn't look in the corners or behind the end tables! The only plus to the whole stay was that the air conditioner was nice and cold. I can't say the same for the hallways or the pool room which might as well have been a sauna it was so humid and uncomfortable in there. The good news regarding that was that the pool was so gross that we knew immediately that we wouldn't be swimming at all. The hot tub was out of order. The staff was very courteous if you could ever catch them at the front desk. I wouldn't stay here again. Way overpriced even for a cheap hotel!

Let’s start by I booked on Priceline(don’t do that unless you get the refundable package, trust me you’ll want it with this hotel) I get there to check in and the employee on deck tells me I still owe for my reservation. 377.00 later I find out that my reservation did go thru and the hotel itself just scammed me out of 377 more than the 1208 that my original reservation was. That was a disaster in itself but thankfully Alyssa’s beautiful soul helped me. The saving grace of that hotel is the 2 housekeepers that don’t speak much English and only they can do so much (the other housekeeping staff is a bunch of young girls who clearly do nothing but sit and chat all day-my room wasn’t cleaned and the only people who came to us to ask about if we needed anything were the two housekeepers who barely spoke English) and Alyssa and the other guys that work nights bless their soul(not Cody) aside from that-not worth the amount I paid to stay. Only reason I booked with Baymont is because it was cheap and still gave me access to a heated pool and hot tub. I was also supposed to have a handicap room and that didn’t happen either. I ended up on the 3rd floor after the fridge in the handicap room didn’t work and as I was using the room for an extended stay the fridge was a necessity. As a woman with severe RA using a walker just to be able to walk and get around- a heated pool and a hot tub is a luxury to have at a hotel. Unfortunately maybe 3 days into my stay the hot tub and pool were out of commission AGAIN after being closed for 6months previously and had just been reopened. So I basically paid 1200 to stay in my room after that because there was a whole STABBING at the hotel after that. On top of a high speed police chase that started at the hotel and a cop car got hit right outside less then 3 parking spots away from where my vehicle parked. Now mind you I have my 8yr old with me and I know there were other families with kids there when this happened. The staff acted like it was just another manic Monday there was even a hotel employee who was hurt during the stabbing! Does the hotel offer a refund? No. Does the hotel offer anything complimentary for the scene of violence that just happened in their hotel? No. They don’t do anything. The rest of my stay my family and I just stayed in the room. What a nice hotel stay. What a lovely vacation. SMH Fast forward to the trip ending I contacted Priceline because when I complained to the hotel themselves about things nothing was resolved. They told me to contact Priceline since that is who I booked thru. So Priceline called the hotel who said they refused to give me a refund or even a partial refund for my stay because I didn’t pay the refundable price. Priceline offered me a 15% discount coupon off my next stay somewhere else. What kind of bs is that!!!!!!! My whole family was put thru a traumatic experience at this hotel and they clearly care not about their clientele.

So today there was a huge fight in the lobby between several people. A girl got a flower pot broken over her head, stabbed in the head & an employee got stabbed in the arm. I ran out back to get a vehicle description & cops pull up and block in the car and the guy in the get away car excellerated on the gas in reverse and slammed his car into the cop car and drove at high speed towards me and the cops pulled out their guns to shoot the car but I was in the way so they took off in a high speed chase after the car! This all happened so fast and it was a bunch of young adults in the age range of 18-23 give or take. Set aside all of that the hotel itself is clean, staff friendly, breakfast was hot & fresh, beds and pillows comfy & nice location.

This hotel is very dirty and the pool and hot tub are going through renovation. Toilet backed up after urinating and almost overflowed. The TV remotes need to be programed every time you turn the TV on. Broken light and windows were stuck open. Staff is nice but the hotel in general is not good. Look for someplace else to stay.

Hands down the most uncomfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on. Room temperature was either hot or cold- no in between. The room was very clean and amenities were good. Front desk staff was nice and check in was easy. We won’t be back due to the beds though.

Give this hotel a shot y'all! New people trying to make a better place! Awesome customer service! Asked for extras of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, wash cloths and trash bags for our wet and dirty clothes. They lady was more than helpful and very nice!! Thank you! (I usually bring my own) The boy's enjoyed for sure! Up beat and had some style to it! Not so uptight but yet peaceful! We will be back to stay at this one for sure! Thanks for a great stay and making my son's 13th birthday extra special by being so upbeat and EVERYTHING WORKING IN AND OUT OF THE ROOM!! THANK YOU!!🥳🎉

We don’t usually stay at the Baymont, but I am glad we did this time! The staff was incredible and the room was exceptionally clean. We were given a tour of the room before we paid and to us that was considered amazing customer service! My fiancé and I had the best sleep and woke up to a very scrumptious breakfast! Will definitely be back! Happy New Year 🎊🍾

We decide to stay here because it was very inexpensive. We needed two rooms with seven people in our group. One of our first rooms was unmade, but the desk clerk got us a replacement quickly. She was very apologetic because she had to put us on seperate floors. The replacement room was refurbished and nice. The second room had some hairs still in the shower, and my kids refused to shower... our chairs were subpar. Breakfast was pretty good. My kids loved the bagel and juice variety. Please spray the waffle maker to the point of ridiculous or the waffle will stick. We all left with full bellies. So, not the best hotel, but acceptable for the price I paid.

Great breakfast buffet with newspaper. Good value. Pet friendly but with extra 20 dollar charge per night per dog. Our room had microwave and 1x3 foot Mini fridge. Room was clean but you can tell some places around hotel are not kept up as well anymore.

Not going to say it was the worse hotel stay, just a little disappointed about pool being close, condition of pullout sofa, toilet not flushing properly, breakfast was not appetizing at all, did not include any protein (meat). However ladies at desk was nice and helpful as can be workers was working, bed was comfortable.. paid for two days but left early' because the room had gave all it could give.

Had to stay for my job training. I was very surprised and impressed at the quality of the room and services for the price. I assumed since the rooms were cheaper than all the rest of the hotels, my stay wouldn't be comfortable. I was wrong. I will definitely be back if I am in the area. Great price, clean, comfortable.

The room was not clean at all beds were stained the shower was dirty and had trash and empty shampoo bottles from the previous people. Mold on the back of the dressers. The hair dryer caught on fire. I when we tried to switch rooms to a clean room we were told not available. My kids got flea bites from inside the room and There was a needle in the refrigerator. And the bedding was never changed we found other people socks in the sheets. We contacted front desk twice about getting a hair dryer that wasn’t going to catch on fire and nothing was done. This is not a safe or a good experience for anyone.

I understand dated doesn’t mean dirty, but this place was both. First impressions were not good, their only luggage cart felt like it was ready to fall apart. Elevator smelled strongly of weed and buttons/lights were damaged. Pool room had dirty floors, and tables in the area were covered with dirt and dust. The pool itself had lots of visible particles including dead bugs floating at the top, I suspect the filter/pump was not operational. The pool water was nearly bath temperature, while the hot tub itself was frigid. We felt it was unusable and should have been closed. The room had several issues as well. The main door had a broken security latch, the bathroom door had a crack in it. Bathroom tub/toilet had been caulked and recaulked and were discolored. Several tears in shower curtain, curtain rod was sagging and barely attached. Tub had lots of lint and dust around the edges where the water doesn’t hit. Towel rod was bent and had sharp edges where it was cracked. Several wall tiles along the floor were damaged and no longer attached, just leaning. Microwave had splatter all over the inside, mini fridge appeared to be growing something organic in the freezer enclosure. Cobwebs several inches long clung to the walls, and substance of unspecified origin was stuck to the walls in multiple places. Window curtain was threadbare and allowed spots of light to shine through. Bedding had spots and stains of unknown origin. (Looked like blood). Supplied shampoo and conditioner were not sealed and I suspect they were not new. Continental breakfast was nothing special, there were some hot options but they were watery/soggy. Fresh waffle maker was good. Juice machine was out of order and rather than individual milks there was just a gallon jug in a fridge for people to use and put back. Staff was friendly, and I can’t fault them for the state of the facility, they clearly have a financial or upper management problem to allow the condition of the hotel to fall so far into disrepair and lack of cleanliness. We will not stay with Baymont ever again in the future.

Just asked housekeepers to empty trash, leave clean towels. Nothing done upon our return plus room door left unlocked!!! Told main desk, asked for clean towels, none available. Told us to bring down 3 towels we used earlier and they would dry them. We did, Told us to come back in 1 hour and get them. We followed to laundry room clean towels in washers been sitting for hours but not dried. Told us again to come down and pick up. What? You can't bring us any? This is at 10:00 PM! Pool deck not cleaned! Never any pool towels on shelf in pool. Only good thing about this hotel, was the nicest grandma lady serving breakfast area!! WARNING! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Checked in to the wrong room. I paid more to have a king size bed and they gave me a double. They did change it after I got into my email and proved I reserved a King. The bed felt like a pile of springs with fabric lying over it. The pillows were horrible. The room smelled bad and was dirty. The tub backed up on us when we took our showers. The breakfast was not edible. The hotel itself was dirty and run down. I reserved last minute and and I thought it was a classy place from the pictures on the website but it's in a very run down area. I would not stay here again or encourage anyone else to.
