It's definitely worth a visit. Gives a very good background of the pre-indpendent days of Malaya. Learnt so much about the background of the country, especially those formative years. The person looking after the place gave us a good background of Dato' Onn.

If i were to put myself in the shoe of Allahyarham Dato' Onn, i couldn't have imagine how i did it..coming from distinguished family background, he has all the qualities leading revolutionary idea to free tanah melayu from communist and malay union. This place was once his residential, a peaceful spacious with greenery scene. Some of the land was taken for golfing activity. I came quite late in the afternoon and the weather was windy, calm. The building is a simple architecture with concrete outside while wooden inside having minimal furniture. This gallery showcasting a quarterly exhibition of our country tradition and during my visit, I've seen all types of old equipment and tools used at kitchens during ancient times. Some of the items were aged 1000 years ago from ming dynasty. Everything is so good except that if the management can do a promotion on this place in order for public to learn our history. The monitor should be functioning to play the history and the life of tanah melayu, the war, colonisation, freedom so that new generations can learn how expensive is independent. There were not so much of Dato' Onn life is exposed than few of his pictures. Place like this shouldn't be kept silence.

Though it is rather small, one can get a good glimpse of what a man Dato' Onn was. He left the party he founded at the height of movement. Why? The galeri unfortunately never tells and maybe it is intentional so that one will be spurred to investigate deeper.

(Translated by Google) Nice parking. It's windy. The tree is not very, very hot. Please bring an umbrella if you have a baby. Clean place. Public toilets are available, close to the dining area. Beautiful view. The beach, but the sea could not take a bath. (Original) Senang parking. Berangin. Pokok tak banyak sangat, jadi panas. Elokla bawak payung kalau ada bayi. Tempat bersih. Tandas awam ada, berdekatan pula dengan medan selera. Permandangan cantik. Tepi pantai, tapi laut takboleh mandi.

Batu pahat tourist spot and is a great place to hangout . Not only couple will have a great place to chill , even for the fisherman to cast a few stroke when the high tide season . It is not sandy beaches but rocky . Thanks to the town council because they done a great job for reconstructing the whole area so that we can enjoy cleaner and nicer environment . You can also drive further in even there is no tar road ahead to explore more. (Normal sedan car is ok , no need 4wd) One more thing , do remember to read and understand the historical lesson written on the board. 1. Suitable for whole family gathering or strolling along the path at seaside (pavement road) 2. Malay food stall 3. Anglers spot (night time) 4. Photographers spot (day time)

    1. This is the most unique museum I have ever visited in Malaysia. 2. The museum is surrounded by golf courses. It is a green area with attractive greenery and a very relaxing environment. 3. The content displayed in the museum actually revolves around the life of DATO ONN JAAFAR, and most of them are pictures and descriptions. 4. After saying hello to the person in charge of the museum, I found out that the museum will be set up here, mainly because DATO ONN used to work and live here. 5. Itโ€™s a bit surprising. It turns out that many of the objects displayed inside have nothing to do with DATO ONN. At best, they are just objects from the DATO ONN period. 6. Therefore, these exhibits do not even have basic labels and instructions, they are just for display. 8. The photos shown here are all very clear. Unlike some museums, RESOLUTION is very low and the photos are blurry. 9. After asking, I found out that all these can only be done by paying "money". It is true that "money" can make people go around.

Its getting better but still needs a ton of improvement. They have started shops for food now but can be improved. Cleanliness is 3/10. I wouldn't suggest that you come with a heart of expectations or you will be terribly dissatisfied. Perhaps it will be a 5 star place in the future.
