What a lovely gem! It’s gets you close to nature amidst a beautiful setting. Host Irene and family are hospitable and lovely and the details they put in to make our stay comfortable is amazing. I think it’s a great place to chill and just enjoy the peace and quiet. So sad we only stayed for a night. The food (pasta, chicken and nasi lemak) was absolutely delicious. Thanks for the wonderful experience

My first glamping experience and it was amazing! Spent my new year countdown here with my family, and the experience was beyond my expectation. Amazing place with cozy vibes, friendly and helpful host who always make sure we enjoy our time here, delicious meal prepared by the host and accompanied by 3 cute cats, outdoor cinema (with covered roof) for us to enjoy, there is also bicycle provided to explore the town. This is definitely a magical place I would recommend to everyone! Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience at La Hilir!! Drove all the way from Penang, it was worth the journey >< The owner Irene was very nice and she's a very good chef. Her nasi lemak was superb!! If you are searching for a private glamping spot and also close to nature, La Hilir is the best choice! Will go again in future~

We stayed for just a night after a very stressful week, but went home energized, refreshed and our souls filled to the brim with gratitude for the genuine hospitality that made everything feel like a home away from home. For a couple just needing time away from the city, it was private, romantic and beautifully set-up. Every rustic imperfect piece of this space tells a story of the labour of love that has been put into building this magical place. We appreciated how much effort the owners also made to blend their home and tents into the surrounding environment without sacrificing its natural beauty. Small thoughtful touches from the owners, from the marshmallows for the bonfire to the perfectly curated sodas to the lovingly homemade (and very tasty) meals made us feel so welcome (and made it all very hard to leave!). Thank you for this hidden gem, LaHilir, we will be back!

We had a wonderful experience of glamping @La Hilir..great accommodation with beautiful decoration everywhere. The sounds of the forest are overwhelming. The family whose running the property were incredibly helpful n go beyond to make our stay comfortable. Even the home-cooked meal served were very delicious. Overall will consider to come again..highly recommended for "get together" in a small group πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Beautiful greenery, fresh air, nature's music, stargazing, amazing home-cooked food, 5-star service and amenities, bonfire, birds singing in the morning, well maintained, clean.....and most importantly a truly memorable experience for us. To our super kind and friendly host and Draco... thank you for hosting us, and showing us around, thanks for the coffee, cats and you know for sure by now, we will be back again and again. Thank you and Well done LaHilir!!!...

Amazing place to chill and heal. Able to recharge after a night spent here. Very exclusive place that you will be able to have the whole place once booked. The hosts Irena and Allan was very friendly and helpful. I just love that once tent comes with one toilet and even hot shower is available. Thank you

Where do I start? When I first read about this place, I was really inspired by their story - how they moved here and build this place from scratch, the concept of slow living. All that history coupled with their personal touches in creating these spaces, the tranquility and privacy this place offers, the home made food (best roasted chicken we have ever tasted), the hospitality. Everything was πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’― It was the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary, just spend quality time and be in the moment together to reflect our 2023, and write our resolutions for 2024. The rain made it 1,000 times better - we danced in the rain, we laughed, we cried, we dozed off like a baby, we were well-rested, more focused and energised to enter 2024. Whatever feedback the others gave on google reviews as of 31 Dec 2023, is nothing but the truth. If you need a sign to go to La Hilir, this is it. This is your sign! A short trip from KL, we will be back.
