Full
score
for
this
quaint
little
kampung
house
in
Melaka.
It
is
recognised
as
one
of
the
unique
restaurants
by
the
tourism
authority.
With
all
that
said,
the
food
still
outshines
the
accolades
for
this
place.
All
the
dishes
taste
authentic,
somewhat
to
what
an
experienced
matriarch
would
have
prepared
for
her
family.
Having
tried
their
buttermilk
dish,
I
can
say
it's
the
best
I
have
tried
before.
Adding
to
your
taste
pallet,
it's
nicely
paired
with
nasi
Lemak
and
the
spicy
sambal.
It's
the
highlight
of
my
meal
here.
Apart
from
their
traditional
dishes,
they
do
serve
fusion
western
cuisine.
What
stands
out
is
the
cheese
oyster.
It
was
out
of
place
in
a
traditional
malay
setting
menu.
But
boy
was
it
good.
The
combination
of
the
cheese,
sweet
chilli
mix
and
a
sprinkle
of
Himalaya
salt
provides
the
burst
of
flavours
in
your
mouth.
It's
another
must
try
here.
Overall,
all
praises
to
this
place
and
special
mention
to
our
server,
a
malay
chap
which
is
cheerful,
lightens
the
mood,
asks
about
the
food
and
being
highly
attentive.
Highly
recommended
place
for
a
hearty
dinner
in
historic
Melaka.
