I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rumah Makan 100 Tahun, and I'm excited to share my incredible experience. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the concept of the Malay Heritage House and its inviting atmosphere. The interior decor is attractive, creating a classic yet comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for a delicious meal and most of all the food I ordered was delicious.

The food was nice for us, and will come again next time 😘 Air tangan yang masak lauk kampung ni memang padu 🥺 The vibes really makes me turn back to old memories.

The greatest first impression upon coming here at night is the atmosphere created around the premise. It is sufficiently lit to enhance the rustic look of the old wooden house. We were warmly greeted by the waiters at the entrance. The food is great and were swiftly delivered upon finished ordering via QR code. We had asam pedas daging tetel, ikan tempoyak, sambal sotong and nasi lemak, ended with kopi tenggek and delicious cekodok dipped in sambal bilis. This place is usually packed on weekends and public holidays with patrons coming from outside of Melaka.

Its 2023 and the concept of the restaurant is cool since it has the Kampung ambience but i couldn’t say more about the food. The nasi goreng i had was soggy and the chicken chop is like literally dip in flour then just deep fried it. Not to mentioned the price for two person was Rm67 which is quite expensive with the quality of the food that i had. For me this restaurant need to improve more on the quality of the food. Thank you

Full score for this quaint little kampung house in Melaka. It is recognised as one of the unique restaurants by the tourism authority. With all that said, the food still outshines the accolades for this place. All the dishes taste authentic, somewhat to what an experienced matriarch would have prepared for her family. Having tried their buttermilk dish, I can say it's the best I have tried before. Adding to your taste pallet, it's nicely paired with nasi Lemak and the spicy sambal. It's the highlight of my meal here. Apart from their traditional dishes, they do serve fusion western cuisine. What stands out is the cheese oyster. It was out of place in a traditional malay setting menu. But boy was it good. The combination of the cheese, sweet chilli mix and a sprinkle of Himalaya salt provides the burst of flavours in your mouth. It's another must try here. Overall, all praises to this place and special mention to our server, a malay chap which is cheerful, lightens the mood, asks about the food and being highly attentive. Highly recommended place for a hearty dinner in historic Melaka.

The seafood is fresh and my fussy mom-in-law ate without much complaint 😃 which is a good sign. Staff are friendly and helpful and the old house is really old! But clean!
