The surrounding Minyak Beku has developed quite well. I hope to do proper maintenance to make sure better facilities. I did a trek up the hill n enjoyed the surroundings. Very surprised some folks did the trekking way up n around the hill. Managed to see some nice spots by the sea at the foot of the hill.

When up but no officer or guard around. We make do with experiencing climb up and down the hill by mpv. Yeah, my adventurous other half😝

Bukit Segenting Lighthouse - The interesting place to visit or explore in Kampung Minyak Beku, Senggarang District of Batu Pahat, Johore Darul Takzim. There's a path/track that's you can hike up around from the foothill to the top. You can see the spectacular seaview from the high point, though at some spots along the sea partially closed by the leafy trees. You can also see the lighthouse on Pulau Sialu nearby that's guiding the ships directions through the Strait of Malacca. 🙄

It is very steep trek from the main road.

For those who has never been to a light house... a good experience

Short trail to the lighthouse. Great view

We drove up the steep and narrow road only to find out that the lighthouse is not open to public. Nothing much to see up there as the trees surrounding trees were pretty tall and covered the view. Be careful of monkeys, we saw one when we were there.

No entry into lighthouse but you can take superb photos

Can drive up, short range, narrow access and steep! There a small car park next to the lighthouse Nothing much, not like Jugra… just a lighthouse that close up.

U need a good 4WD and car to bring you up here.

Nice location. Unfortunately cannot be visited by unauthorized personnel. Only access for an unobstructed view of the ocean is by hiking beside the fencing.

Lighthouse up the hill, small parking lot to fit 4-5 car. .

Wanna take a picture from the coast but was close on the day I visit. It's OK. There's always next time.
