This little glacier field is fun even in the height of summer. There is wonderful views and a cute lite church to come and see.

A bit disappointed, was I - Ride down from the Zugspitz in a tunnel. Thought I would get to see more of nature and the surrounding beauty of the Zugspitz area. It was comfortable, and stopped by the car park areas, so that was nice. 4 stars because I didn't feel like a sardine like I felt on the tram ride to the top.

This place was just so beautiful. Now I know how mountain climbers must feel when to climb above the clouds. It was great at the top be be on Austria and Germany by just walking a couple of steps. Our grandson was able to toboggan while there and he loved it.

This is the highest peak of Germany with a beautiful view specially on a sunny day. You can see different alps of Italy, Switzerland and Austria from the top. The route is also very pretty and cable car ride is very fast I was really impressed.

Well worth the trip. Great place to spend time on a sunny day. Lots of great views and quite a few restaurants.

Nice way to get down the mountain

It is snowing and windy when we got there.

This is the most beautiful place i have ever been to. Views are stunning, take a trip early in the morning to spend more time at the top - there is a restaurant here as well with wide windows, so you can enjoy the Alps during the whole day.

This walkable area with the church and its little skiing area is surely the most beautiful part of a visit to Zugspitze. The weather can be challenging sonetimes. The winds may be harsh. Yet it is worth a little walk and the Alpine views are purely gorgeous.

Enjoy Germany’s last glacier and even use sledges for free. Watch out for the icy rivers beneath the ice.
