A good place with a medieval market. If you want to eat, there are two places for it. The first place is self-service, the second is a nearby restaurant. In the first case, it is convenient if you have small children, there is a Playground. The beer is local and very good. The Burger is too dry, there is not enough juiciness in the cutlet and the bread roll is made of dough for brezel. The castle is apparently closed to the public and is used as a brewery. Be sure to visit.

Wonderful Christmas market, but never again. If they are selling tickets, then the tickets should be limited. You could hardly walk through the massive crowds, 1/2 hour wait for an over-priced Bratwurst, and you can't even come near any stands to see or buy anything.

My kids love this place, but this is the last year they will fully enjoy it. They are getting too old now, and it is becoming too kiddy for them. The show is great. Fights choreography. The costumes.

Beautiful place where throughout the year you can experience all sorts of events. Also, during summer there's Biergarten and restaurant which is quite nice.

The service was amazing, the food was amazing. Overall this was an amazing experience in a mideval dinner. I was there as part of an event, so I don't know how it is outside of the event.

Don't go unless there is an Event going on. Seems a bit unmotivated otherwise.

The Christmas market was amazingly themed!

Awesome castle must visit. Moody atmosphere.

We visited the Christmas Market here, and it was an amazing experience. All the characters of the Grimms´Tales were there all around, walking in the crowd and playing with the kids. Very unique pieces of stuff could be bought, and we also found our favourite ones, so as delicious drinks and foods. Give it a try when you get a chance in the upcoming year.

Great medieval castle that will make you feel like you traveled 400 year back in time

If you're in munich, the short train/bus ride is well worth it.
