Die Lage ist wirklich ein Traum, man ist zentral gelegen und direkt an der Donau. Das Personal war durchaus immer freundlich. Die sanitären Anlagen sind doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten öfter gereinigt werden. Von Blutspritzern an Toilettentüren (über Tage an der gleichen Stelle) bis hin zu schimmeligen Duschen war alles dabei. Für uns auf der Durchreise okay, aber nichts für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

I am amazed that none of the reviews have commented on the fees charged by this campsite - 36 Euros, regardless of size of tent, number of occupants, whether accompanied by a vehicle, whether electricity is required. This is 50% more than any other campsite we stayed on in nearly 5 weeks of cycling. When we queried the fee, we received a shrug of the shoulders and a 'we've got a monopoly on campsites in the city' as justification. The facilities were adequate but bore no resemblance to the 5 Star campsite a day down the road at Neustadt, a snip at 24 Euros in comparison. If we'd only known that the canoe club 500 metres away offered camping facilities, we'd have snapped up the opportunity in an instant.

36€ for a tent and two people in the cyclist meadow? That’s the most expensive of any campsite I’ve come across in months of cycling Europe. Check out the Canoe Club 1.5 km closer to the city- 8€/ person, super peaceful, has a fridge and covered area.

24€ for one night camping pitch is atrocious. 2x every other campsite in Germany. Azur Camping should be ashamed. The actual pitch is covered in mud hard areas, not much grass. Facilities are good though. I would avoid.

Outrageous price for a single person tent place: 26 euros (13 per person + 13 for the place!), and the wifi doesn't work at all (despite they said "yes, it should work"...). The reception justified this ridiculous price saying that the camping is "in" the city. If 4 km from downtown Regensburg means "IN" the city! Ahah! I can't even imagine how much would cost a camper, or roulotte, or other more costly accomodation! Simply ridiculous quality price value! Go for a b&b or hostel for this price: you'll save money, and you'll be in a more central location!

Die Lage vom Platz ist sehr Zentral und liegt direkt an der Donau. In die Innenstadt sind es nur 2 km. Einige Plätze haben keinen Strom und müssten dann mit Verlängerung arbeiten um am Landstrom zu kommen. Der Service ist sehr nett und die Brötchen sind lecker. Einzig die Sanitäranlagen sind zu alt und zu wenig um den Platz gerecht zu werden.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz direkt an der Donau und am Donauradweg. Bis in das Zentrum von Regensburg sind es etwa 3 km. Die Stellplätze sind schön groß und durch die vielen Bäume auch schön schattig. Das Personal ist super freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die sanitären Anlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen aber waren immer perfekt sauber.

Set in leafy, shady surrounds, the Campingplatz presents beautifully on a hot summer's day. It's situated right beside the Danube River, and a little beach a handful of steps from the site gives a scenic option for cooling down after a long day in the city's old town. The site's amenities are well maintained, and the staff friendly and fluent in English. I would recommend a standard pitch over the comfort pitch as they are closer to the amenities and seemed to be better shaded than the comfort pitches. There's a small restaurant and beer garden, although it was closed the Monday and Tuesday we stayed there. A bus into town is right on the doorstep, while an easy 800m walk or bus trip in the other direction gets you to the nearby Rewe Supermarket and well-stocked bottleshop. Very recommended!

Great little campsite. We stayed for one night, camper pitches are pretty close together and not overly obvious where you should park. We walked along the Danube to get to Regensburg which took about 45 minutes to an hour. Staff were really friendly and had an extra long extension lead for electricity.

For this price shower and toilet must be clean. The rest is okay!

The camping deserves definitely much higher rate especially in terms of friendly staff and the caravan facilities. Very nice location to be able to bike to the city center.

Nice camping, spots with shadows under the trees. Toilet facilities a bit old, but clean. Access to beach by Donau through a gate on the camping. Donau is good for a swim and some SUP padling.

Nice place and kind people. however, only 2 people for the whole overfilled camp. there are tents and cars squeeze next to each other, too much waste for just a few rubbish bins and too few cleaning power. To use the washing machines, you must use a third party app and share your personal information such us name and current location. if your smart phone can't share the location, you can't do your laundry. No playground or any facility for children. it's an OK place in case of need, but i would not spend there my holiday.

Insgesamt ein toller Campingplatz. Die Lage ist genial, abgelegen und doch nur ein Katzensprung in die Stadt. Alle Achtung an das Personal, egal wie voll, egal wie lange der Feierabend schon zurück lag, immer super freundlich und geduldig - danke. Ich selber habe 2 Nächte in einem der Holzfässer verbracht - Spaß pur und jeder Zeit wieder. Gemütlich, funktional und sehr sehr sauber. Auch das angrenzende Lokal ist sehr gut. Eine nicht zu voll gestopft Karte, die dennoch alle Wünsche für Groß und Klein erfüllt. Allein beim Schnitzel schmeckt man das Butterschnalz heraus, die Pommes sind der Hammer und auch die Salate sind toll. Es schmeckt alles und hungrig steht man nicht vom Tisch auf und dazu noch die Preise, wo man denkt, die müssen sich verrechnet haben. Jetzt zu dem einzigen Kritikpunkt, den eigentlich die Camper angeht - muss man sanitäre Anlagen so verrecken, kann ich keine Klobürste benutzen oder meine Haare aus dem Waschbecken nehmen - da kommt keiner mit der Instandhaltung hinter. Würde trotzdem jeder Zeit wieder dort buchen.

Ein netter Platz direkt an der Donau. Wir konnten problemlos und schnell einchecken. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Sanitären Anlagen waren bei unserem Besuch sauber und gepflegt. Wir mussten wegen eines Trauerfalls leider früher abreisen. Das Personal war auch hier sehr mitfühlend und kulant. Dafür ein ganz großes Danke!

Gut ausgestatteter Platz mit schönen "Fässern" zum Übernachten. Die Sanitäranlagen sind zahlreich, sauber und gut. Die Lage an der Donau und damit auch am Radweg lohnt sich nicht nur für Radtouren. Wir haben eine Nacht in einem der Fässer übernachtet und können dies sehr empfehlen, man spart sich dadurch beispielsweise das eigene Zelt (zzgl. "Bettzeug" etc.) und kann mit weniger Gepäck auf eine Radtour starten.

Kleiner und sehr sauberer Campingplatz. Das Bad in der direkt hinter unserem Standplatz verlaufenden Donau war ein Traum bei 33 ° C. Die Dusche in der sauberen Umgebung war herrlich. Wir kamen von einem Campingplatz am Rhein dersehr vernachlässigt war. Da fühlt sich dieser hier an der Donau wie ein 5 Sterne Platz an!

Die Lage des Platzes könnte nicht besser sein , jedoch wird der Platz überwiegend von Durchgangstouristen genutzt .Wem der tägliche Wechsel nichts ausmacht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Sanitäre Anlagen dagegen alt und nicht immer sauber. Preis Leistung daher eher nur ok . Wir waren einmal da und werden wohl nicht noch einmal kommen.

I was on an 1300km roadtrip and wanted to have a break for once. There is a supercharger in Regensburg so I did the charging and went to the closest camping. (7km from the charger) I booked a so called "campingfass" (wooden barrel) the day before I arrived there on their website. There was no reply so I had no expectation, but I did not care since I just wanted to spend 1 night. I could have managed it in the car if something would have gone wrong. In Germany older people wont speak English even if they can. But here at the reception there was 2 friendly hosts(40+) and they did. About the camping itself: Camping barrel was clean and tidy. They had electricity inside (standard 220-240V). So you can charge your laptop, etc. There have a shared shower indoors. With a lot of cabin separated well to have privacy. They have washroom also. I liked it.

Decent, quiet and neat camping near Regensburg. I don't understand all the negative comments. Very close to the beautiful Regensburg and all facilities you need. Bit expensive. Paid 53 euro for 4 persons with campervan and electricity! Recommended!

We had a very friendly welcome but were otherwise a little disappointed by the site. Facilities were relatively clean and well designed however we felt the charges were high compared to other sites with better 'campers facilities'. The showers were operated by pressing the tap, which was then timed. This timed out at 5 seconds which meant repeated presses to get showered properly. Pitches were very close, but the ground was even and took pegs well. Overall a satisfactory stay, and quiet at night

The place is overall pretty okay. There is enough shadow and the spots are big. There is a nice pool on walking distance which costs around €7 per person. It is really expensive for a place like this, though. You can’t directly walk to the river, the staff can be pretty rude and the wifi is almost impossible to use. It’s good for 1-3 nights but no longer.

This camp site charges excess euro 24 for rent bicycle and one adult. Not worth it and twice what other camp sites

Good camping, clean and tidy near the city. Bathroom washed many times during the day, really good cleaners. Receptionists kind and helpful

Nice camping spot near by Donau. Good to bycicle to the city, ca 3 km directly at the river. Good to walk your dog too. But the ground was very muddy and castanies felt on our roof the first night, before we switched the place. Good service and nice bread to breakfast, also clean facilities.
