We were returning back to kalutara from Nuwara Eliya. Our kids also were on board with us so we wanted to go to a place where we can stretch a bit and have our lunch. On the way down, we saw "Jungle rever cafe". We stopped there and have a word with the person who was in charge. We had our lunch packets were ready with us we just wanted to have some eggs for kids and us. The manager ask us to come inside without any hasitation. He was a very friendly man and the staff too. The food was so delicious and they are very fresh too. Got to know they serve Coffee which made of the coffee from there own garden. All in all a good, clean place with good service and good food.

I am going to be very frank and not give a big recommendation of this place for wide variety of food, especially in the morning. Having said that, the scenery is amazing and and for morning breakfast you can actually enjoy some hot food with amazing scenery. The staff here are really nice and polite.

A fairly scenic place to have a quick meal on your way to or from Hatton. The place has a lovely view as well with outside seating and ample parking. Can have a quick bathroom break too. Food was tasty, spicy and very cheap. They have standard rice and curry, fried rice, kottu and pizza on their menu. The service is very good too. The owner is quite courteous when he welcomes everyone. They have cabanas and jungle trekking too!

Stopped by to have some lunch, it was a breath of air comparing to sanitized hotel food. Food was delicious, prices are extremely affordable. At last some local cuisine ! Worth a stop

Worst experience ever, we were getting down from Gampola and stopped here because of the view and just wanted to have a pol rotti and a cup of plain tea. The staff was like we were there to eat free food. Don't stop here, it's unfortunate because this comes with a nice view but also with bad customer service 😐

I never got to eat from this place.. We were heading to Nuwara Eliya early morning and stop here to take the break fast.. The place view is absolutely stunning..

Great place to enjoy the nature with a beautiful view, great service, cutlery needs to be little clean. Other than that everything was great…. I recommend this cafe for anyone for a small snack…. Good pit stop…

Nice place to eat sri Lankan food specially the breakfast on the way to NuwaraEliya. It was located in between Awissawella to Ginigathhen. Food prices are little bit high but delicious. I recommend only the breakfast.
