I was told by the young, cashier that they gave me chips and even heard her tell the people in the back I was wrong.. well I don't see any chips, customer service should be a 0. Even if I was wrong, to argue with a customer over chips is sad to see. Please train your services and cashiers on how to address problems correctly, I am very disappointed in the conversation I just had with your team. We will not be ordering from here until your customer service problems can be resolved.

I paid $16 for a cold mushy dinner that was ready in 10 minutes. Cold soggy food no cheese on the beans, when I called the manager had made my dinner and it’s extra for cheese on the beans. Don’t tell me the manager thought this was a good plate of food. I’ve never written a review before, but today I am! At least Taco Bell has flavor and is consistent.

First impressions of the restaurant are not good: the parking lot is crumbling asphalt or dirt and the interior is old and in need of serious attention. However, the staff and waitress were friendly. The chips were cold but the requested hot salsa was good (the highlight of the meal). Food was plentiful and cheap; however, it was bland. My cheese/onion enchilada was covered in raw onion chunks which turned into a nice sized pile after eating. The portions were good but there just wasn't any flavor or zing to anything. Very disappointing.

First impressions are everything and to be honest, we passed the first we drove around the place. We ended up leaving because the appearance on the ouside didnt look very welcoming. Good thing we came back another time and came in. To our suprise, everything was quit the opposite of what we expected! GOOD food, great portions, cute decor and the staff was AMAZING! We definately have found a place we will return to over and over!! Great for the whole Family...something for everyone on their menu!

I've been on the hunt for a good wet burrito since ElGalito closed on Dixie. Unfortunately this did not deliver. The diced beef burrito was salty as hell, it came in a greasy tortilla with barely any gravy on it. The "gravy" is also very salty but lacking flavor, same with the beans and rice. I had high hopes for this place as several people recommended it in Bay City. Unfortunately it was not my style, I prefer deeper flavors.

Very good, our office has ordered for big lunches. The Taste of Bay city is a great, reasonable priced place to eat. Daily specials. $2.00 enchiladas on Monday, $2.00 Tostada's on Tuesday, $1.00 taco's on Wednesday-Soft or Hard shell. This is worth the trip. Free chips and salsa when you dine in. Yummy

We didn’t even make it to order :( The restaurant was kept @ 58° only 2°warmer than the outside temp. We were the only 5 in the place. They refused to turn it up, even a little. Our crew was so cold we cashed out our drinks & went to another “comfortable” Mexican restaurant just down the road. *our waitress was very sweet & apologetic, her manager could be heard in the back not happy at our request at all.

I’ve been to both locations. Food is great at both locations. This time I ordered takeout and got the Birria Tacos (my photo shows 2 but 3 come in the dinner order) I swear these are the best tacos ever. Their rice and beans are pretty good too I’d say the beans win over the rice. The tortilla chips are by far my favorite restaurant tortilla chips, super crispy. Service was prompt and friendly. The location, like their other, is odd and slightly off putting. Parking is weird at both locations, no real parking designation, both lots are not great. Both locations are smaller but have plenty of seating. Both are kid friendly and have good pricing. The only thing is, I don’t get the name at all. It sounds like an eatery, cafe or deli.

First time here and it was soo delicious! The guacamole was perfect! My boyfriend and my dinner was the perfect amount of food and the staff was super nice too

The food is delicious. My most recent visit was subpar. The chips are inedible. They are usually amazing but seem short staffed. This impacts things negatively and takes a great restaurant down to a regular one. I will visit when they are not busy

We've been here a few times. We love the authentic food here. I ordered the 3 Tostada dinner with Beans and Rice. Let me tell you our dinner was delicious! You get a good portion for what you order. We ended up taking ours to go.

Came here to hang out with my wife and my extended family who we were visiting. I got the shredded chicken enchiladas with queso. Along with an order of fried pickles. Food was good. Will definitely get it again.

I didn't care for the taste of the food. Every restaurant has their own recipe, and I just didn't care for the taste of anything. I got the Chimichanga meal, tamale, and enchilada. However, they have great service, a very friendly server, and a clean environment. Thanks for the experience.

The food was decent for the price, and the employees were friendly but the styrofoam box my food came in was melted. Hoping I don’t get sick. Also, the parking lot is a lake.

The food isn’t anything great. The place is run down. Definitely overpriced for what you get. I’ve given them a few tries and tried different things. It’s all just blah. I actually like Taco Bell better. Don’t order online if you don’t know what each thing is, absolutely no description of what something is. Their is so little effort put into this place. No need to go there again.

Good food but more Mexican American flavors than like Campeche, Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Oaxaca and CDMX regional Mexican dishes. The carne asada was more authentic, in my opinion. No lengua, pastor, carnitas, flautas, mole, or other dishes. Friendly staff and good food.

We had dinner here and the service was fast and very friendly. Our server was Shaunna and she was so kind and fun to chat with, we enjoyed her company!! We will definitely be back! :)

The food was phenomenal, I ordered the buffalo chicken tacos and they were more than I was hoping for! Shaunna was our waitress and she was so sweet and very tentative. Will definitely be back!

The receptionist and delivery driver were amazing! Prompt delivery! My only gripe was not knowing ahead of time that they have a 20.00 minimum for deliveries. I had The chips I paid $2 forto order extra, and with tax and fees was over 28 dollars to feed myself at work! Luckily, The chips came in a massive amount and I had so much at the end it'll be enough for a second meal. Thanks, y'all!

We’ve done many company meals with Taste of Bay City but yesterday’s was enough of a disappointment that I won’t use them again. Every time we’ve ordered a taco bar for 12 people the following items came in a half pan: lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ground beef, rice, and beans. Today however all of these same items were packaged in small styrofoam To Go boxes giving us far less food. The only item that wasn’t packaged that way was the tomatoes. That was packaged in a small round To Go cup giving us barely any. We received significantly less food than normal but were charged the same price. There wasn’t enough ground beef for the 24 taco shells it comes with. Then we were told that there’s now a mandatory 18% gratuity added to all catering orders. I was charged 19% on the order. I have no issue tipping but when it’s an order that’s picked up (no delivery, no set up, no service) 18% is pretty steep especially when we didn’t get enough food for the 12 people it was supposed to feed. To top it all off the order was picked up at the exact time indicated but was cold. The food wasn’t even warm let alone hot. Every single person that ate had to heat their food up. The food is just average so the service needs to be better. There are plenty of other places in town where the food and service are better so we’ll be switching to one of them.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to the airport. One meal was delivered to the table after 15 mins (we were the only ones in there at the time) the second meal was 25 mins after we ordered. The other person was finished eating and I had to have the girl immediately put the new meal in a takeout box so I could eat on the way to the airport. I must say that although the food was delicious, it was aggravating to wait that long for a TexMex bowl and have to take it to go.

Won the 5 free taco’s,so decided to take a road trip from Swartz Creek. Also ordered the carne asada and quesadillas. The food was excellent and service was fast even during lunch rush. First time customer and definitely will be back

Food was great! I meant to take a picture but I scarfed it down too fast haha I got the enchiladas with chicken and they were amazing. My husband got the wet burrito with chicken and he loved that as well 🙂 we will definitely be back!

How did I never order from this restaurant before?! I ordered online (so easy) and it was ready at the scheduled time when I went to pick it up. Very friendly staff and the house was packed! And the FOOD!! Everything was delicious, the toppings were plentiful and fresh, and the servings were large enough to share. Definitely will be back for more!!

Amazing Nachos.... Family tray could feed 6-8 hungry people! Huge tray with generous portions of Olives, Hamburg and Cheese. Second time we have ordered them and the quality and freshness is incredible. Service and friendliness of the staff is second to none. Extremely well ran business that we are fortunate to have in Bay City! Patronize them when you able!

My wife loves the natchos. Fajitas have too much sauce for my liking. Tacos are the best in my opinion.

I went to taste of Bay City tonight. I ordered queso and chips. I got no queso, only salsa with my order. When I let them know of this error, they informed me that it was put away for the night & that I wasn't getting a refund or the queso. Feel like I got robbed. Walked out very disappointed. I will not be back.

I'm sure the food may be great but the choice in the music in the 2022 st Patty's parade is horrible taste. I was truly disappointed in how your business chose a song with cursing while there are families all ages trying to enjoy the parade and had to listen to that garbage.
