This place has been one of our favorites for many years. Unfortunately, during COVID, like so many other places, it shut down. Lucky for us, it just reopened again. We made a special trip into the park just for one of these cinnamon rolls. I don't know why, but they seem better than your average cinnamon roll. They're flatter and wider and shaped like Mickey Mouse. Maybe that's why. It's that Disney magic. Add a cup of African coffee, wander across the avenue to the nook just to the right of the bathrooms and you have a nice, cool place to start your day with a tasty treat. This is a worthwhile piece of information on hot days as well. This little seating area is out of the way and tends to get less use than some of the others. Cool off, finish your treat and go find a line to stand in. Preferably Flights of Passage.

Setup is very basic, order your food at a podium, get directed to the counter to pick up your food, and there are several tables to stand at, off to the side. The area is designed like a Moroccan or other East-African market so it's picturesque. Staff were pleasant and service was quite expeditious. So coffee was okay here, better than at the resort. Then again, we got flavored ice coffee. I got iced mocha, it was actually fairly good. My wife got a flavored one as well, but I'm not sure what she got. After seeing a previous complaint about coffee, I'm assuming hot from said review. I recommend getting iced. For food, they have simple pastries, and quite a variety. My wife got the cheese Danish, and she said it was quite good. I got a breakfast burrito. For the price it was hilarious small. But it had a mildly sweet/sour cheese that was moist and soft, either feta or ricotta (I'm not sure). The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and had spinach and tomato. It was actually pretty good, and was filling enough to have a quick bite and be on your way to travel the park. I have the meal plan so price wasn't an issue for me, but for people paying for each meal it is a factor. This is a chronic gripe I voice, whomever reads my reviews, of the cost of food and drink in parks. It is par for course, doesn't mean I have to like it.

Delicious wonderful flatbreads with amazing marinated meat. I preferred the chicken but both were outstanding. One of the best lunches you can get at Disney's Animal Kingdom and at a very good price.

If you can hang on until the Harambe market opens do it. Very soggy, small sandwich, luke warm to cool potatoes, not much seating. Not a very good option for food.

Slow service, breakfast food not great. Stick with coffee and you should be ok.

They have a rotating menu but if you get a chance to get either the chicken or the pork flatbread, get it! Not sure if there were not many food stands around but people kept asking us where we got the food from. Definitely one of the best we had at the park. Had to put in a good word for this as it came with home made chips as well. Worth it if you get a chance to grab this.

Our group agreed that eating here was our only mistake on our Animal Kingdom day. The curry flavors in our food were way too strong and not enjoyable during the hot weather. That could just be our personal taste, but if you eat here, expect lots and lots of curry.

It is like an oasis in the Center of the Jungle... to satisfy hunger after walking through the Disney Animal Kingdom Park.

Don't assume by the name that this hidden gem only serves coffee/pastries. I got a chicken entree here with chips for a decent price using mobile order. Curry taste wasn't overwhelming, might be for kids. Definitely recommend for those on a budget.

Great coffee and pastries, on a pretty quiet Sunday morning. Lovely atmosphere.

We really enjoyed the pork flatbreads here! They were a great portion and very decently priced for what you get. The pork was very flavorful and delicious! Will definitely be returning here when we are in animal kingdom next!

WOW!! Valarie gave us some Disney magic here!! People ordering before us kept saying they didn't want sausage on their biscuit. To us, they were annoying. When we ordered, we joking said that we'd take their sausage on our biscuit. Well Valarie loved that!! And she special ordered our biscuit to have 2 sausage patties on our biscuit. It was delicious!!

I see a lot of people talking about breakfast here but their empanadas are delicious. I saw their flatbreads and they looked delicious(I didn’t have time to sample). I recommend going straight to this kitchen in animal kingdom as soon as lunch serves. I think it is a hidden gem in the park. Don’t expect to sit down and dig in though…you’ll be eating on ‘the street’ or a nearby alcove. So this is a great option for a small group.

I'm so disappointed they've replaced the spiced potato hand pies with yet another Impossible dish. The hand pies were delicious, and were one of the only vegetarian options in the parks without Impossible meat. I know Disney has a contract with Impossible, but why can't they keep a few options without it? There are a lot of vegans/vegetarians out there who don't want their food to look like meat, and Disney's partnership with Impossible has left me and my family with fewer meal options than ever.

Surprised with how good the food was. Couldn't stop eating and wish I got a second order before I left. Chips were a bit too salty

It’s a nice hidden hole in the wall spot (literally), but it’s your average pastries and coffee. Generally at Disney I say to not buy non Disney foods/snacks, since you can get them any other time... but coffee is the one exception. Disney does NOT make good coffee. Go to Joffrey’s or Starbucks- that’s why they have them. They know their strengths and coffee is not one of them.

Cinnamon roll was greasy, flavorless, disgusting, and almost tasted like they were using rotten, sour dough - I couldn't finish it. Family member's quiche was good, however, when I returned to get one myself to make up for the nasty cinnamon roll, the man working the kitchen cut off the line for breakfast, even though the person before me had JUST ordered breakfast food and I had been waiting behind them BEFORE he walked up. What a hungry start to my day at Animal Kingdom. The only positive was that the service was fast and that the girl that took our order was friendly and helpful. Otherwise, I will not be returning. I should have just gone to Starbucks.

Just got the worst service here, the attendant at the paying booth (from NY according to her tag) was very rude and didn't even gave us good answers. Lousy coffee and disgraceful attention.

Delicious bakery right in the heart of Africa at Animal Kingdom! I've tried their pistachio honey croissants and "Mickey" cinnamon rolls-divine! My husband loved their coffee, too. I ate breakfast while waiting in line for the Kilamanjaro Safari ride and loved it!❤️ I highly recommend for a quick, tasty breakfast.
