Forum Fitness in Bayonne cheats people, in my view. My husband canceled his membership by telephone and email in April 2022 and Forum Fitness continued charging his credit card. We disputed the charge for May on the credit card and won the dispute. We also had the credit card block all future charges from "ABC Forum Fitness," and then Forum Fitness put a double charge in July on my credit card under "6068 Forum Fitness." We are going to have to cancel the card and get a new number to stop these unauthorized charges.

Pros: They have all the equipment. Very big. Cons: Most expensive gym. Gym hours suck. ( Close 10pm on a Friday lol!). Always overcrowded but that’s because the hours force people to all come at night. I sadly will not be renewing membership mostly because early closing time and an insane price.

Forum is not only a gym, but a community!! There is a difference. The people are what make this gym unparalleled. The amenities are excellent. Sure, there is room for improvement with operating hours, I miss the time it was open for 24 hours and such. More importantly though, the staff treat you like family and help you become the best version of yourself. There is no price you can put on that, in my opinion.

Good gym, I just wish the hours were better. I try to go before work, but being that they're no longer 24 hours during the week makes it rough to squeeze it in before. Pair the 5am open with the fact that the morning guy is never on time. Some days he gets there at 5:05, other days 5:10 but it never fails that there's a line of people waiting to get in. Gym would be perfect if they opened a little earlier, or went back to 24 hours during the week. Either way, not too expensive, decent machines, clean locker room. Just wish I didn't have to travel all the way out to Belleville when I need to workout earlier than 5am.

I love the environment here, great people get energy. Had the privilege to talk to Will, Ann, Julie and Milly. I see other familiar faces but not by name. They have all been a great help Julie in particular with workout advice and just always having a smile on her face.

This gym has high quality machines and a great amount of space. I never have to wait long or at all for any machine and I love that there’s 2 large turf areas. Always get in a good workout here and there’s a good amount of benches to move around to cables and whatnot. Love that I can do hip thrusts on the glute drive, a bench, against a stack of steps, or on the smith machine, which is usually readily available. Definitely recommend this gym!

It's the best gym in town if you know what you're doing. There's lots of squat racks and enough free weights for everyone. I've been to a few of the corporate gyms and they don't have enough free weights. Anyone complaining about "cleanliness" must live in an operating room. Forum is as clean as any normal place. If you found dust on top of a wall and think that's going to make you sick, you need to see a psychiatrist.

I appreciate their readiness to be available for clients who are interested in personal training. The staff makes sure that clients obtain the results they have set for themselves. Forum has a very supportive staff, and caring owners.

If you’re looking for a death row contract, you’ve found your place. For the same price, join LA. You WILL be charged $100 once a year for “enhancement” fees + $10 if you ever pay late … they make it sound like they’re as easy as a commercial gym but they are inflexible with subpar customer service. I have waited days and weeks for call backs from the membership advisor who signed me up. This is my only negative review in google history and if I could would leave one every day.

Just met Jose today! All his milkshakes definitely bring all the girls to the yard. I’m thinking of asking him out on a date soon!

I've been at the Fitness Forum in Bayonne for about 7 years. It has all the equipment I need but most importantly the reason for me being there all these years is the people. The owners are really, really nice and I've made so many friends working out over the years that I never need a workout partner. All my friends are there. They are all my workout partners!

If I could give this gym a negative rating I would, first they lie to you about what you pay a month, and every month my bill was more than what I signed up for, the machines and weightlifting plates are all out of style and old and chipped and falling apart, they do have a small CrossFit area but only way you can use it is if it's empty, if it's crowded there is no room at all. The machines are from the early 90's and so are the dumbbells. If you try to cancel they will not let you and lie about the availability of managers and the staff. They don't care if your moving, lost your job, or died, they would still bill your card for that $$. Go to the park or join another gym, I go to retro on 20th and Broadway.

I have been a long time member of this gym going back to the nautilus days, always have been treated fairly and with respect. Kathy and Pete and the wonderful staff have kept the equipment up to date and facility clean and orderly. Very rarely write a review but within the last couple of years I had a serious health issue which kept me out of the gym for a good year, came back before the pandemic hit for a month or two before the shutdown hit, during that time the staff and fellow members did all they could to make sure I was safe and comfortable during limited exercise. When the gym opened back up with limited capacity I couldn’t make it back for a variety of reasons, Pete stepped up big time and offered me some equipment to use at home until I am able to come back. There is a reason why I have been associated with Forum for so long, that is just one example, thanks for your commitment to the community and keeping a top notch fitness facility in the neighborhood Eddie B.

This place was brilliant in all facet’s you expect a gym to be good in. It’s a very friendly environment, great equipment, phenomenal recovery drinks for when your workout is complete. You name it, this gym had it all. I had a wonderful time here & enjoyed every moment of my stay.

Been working out in this gym for years now and I really love this gym it’s Very clean facilities, and very nice people working there very accommodating. Will recommend it 100%!!

I have been going to this Gym for 15 years now and have nothing to say but amazing things about the cleanliness of the gym and the professionalism of Toni; the gym owner. I had to cancel my membership due to moving and she has been very helpful and waived some of the fees and she was just a doll! She followed up with me a couple times to make sure I was all set up! Milly and Katie are the best ones at the juice bar. I love seeing them everyday. Milly is also a great trainer she should be on the floor more she is great with people.

I love the Forum! Great atmosphere & friendly staff. After a workout get yourself a shake. Jose, Julie, and Will make the best ones. They never miss.

When you walk through you door at the forum you truly feel like part of a family. Everyone knows you by name. Jose is the best and makes incredible shakes and Julie always makes you feel right at home.

Forum is definitely my favorite gym to go to. And my favorite employee I love seeing is no other than Julie... lol she always brings positive energy

I have been a member for many years. Love the people and the place. Kathy has helped me so many times get my physical health together. They truly care about your well being even if you don't. I tend to start and get crazy into it and take a break but I always come back because there is no other place I would rather be.

I have been a member of the Forum for over 10 years, pre/post covid the gym has ALWAYS been very clean and well maintained. Kathy, Pete, and the entire staff always been helpful and courteous!

Would give half a star if possible. Unprofessional and unwelcoming staff. The gym is not well kept either. Demanding of us to clean the equipment after use yet there’s hardly ever any rag/spray bottle readily available. Clean the sauna and your yoga matts too. Fix all of the broken showers as well.

Highly recommend this gym if you're in the area! The gym is really clean and the staff are all welcoming. Great amount/variety of weights and machines. Parking lot and sauna are a plus. They're fairly priced, too!

I can't say enough about the personalized attention and service I received from Kathy during my 20 in 30 wellness plan. She is very supportive and caring and is a wonderful Coach! I highly recommend this wellness program to all - it works!

Tony at Forum is an absolute gem of a person who works there. The facility is always so clean and this is so incredibly important in this pandemic season. We had a little mix up with our membership and Tony was so kind to resolve everything for us so quickly but most importantly, so professional. If you live in the area, you would crazy to go anywhere else to work out and get healthy besides Forum . Also, their protein shakes are also so delicious!! You almost forget you're eating healthy as tasty as they are.

I’ve been a member little over a year now and I love FFC. It’s well kept, spacious, different selection of fitness classes, sauna💕 and last but not least great customer service from staff. I’m proud to say I’m a member!

I love the energy of the staff. I appreciate the efforts made to keep everyone motivated. The environment is very inviting and makes me feel comfortable. Great place to work hard and feel great about it.
