Placed our order online at 6:12pm, then arrived 20 minutes later. Was ignored for a while, then when I was able to speak to her at 6:50pm I was informed that they hadn’t even begun to prepare our food. Waited another 20 minutes, then asked again when our food might be ready. She had placed it in the tray to keep it warm until we arrived. I guess because there was four people in there she had forgotten we had already spoken twice about this food. The burger was good, the sides were terrible, and it was all for a whopping $32 for two meals. Look at the picture and be the judge if that’s worth an hour of your day and over $30.

This place was filthy. There was used masks on tables, trash on the floor, overflowing trash can in the bathroom, and the service was dead slow and rather rude. They even had a bathroom cleaning schedule hanging on the wall that was of course blank at the end of the day. The only reason I'll give it two stars is the food was good for the most part. After over a half hour waiting for it the onion rings were ice cold. And my Baytown burger was as dry as a cardboard box. Probably will not be returning.

I understand that the burger I ordered may be messy as it is stuffed with cheese but the mustard all over was too much. And when u add bacon 🥓 to anything I think we can all agree more than one piece is expected.

Way overpriced. Advertise home cut fries and they give you frozen fries. I got two drinks two lg fries and two burgers and it was nearly $29. And there is a "surcharge" for cups and the like. The burger was however very good.

This was not our favorite place. I can't eat beef so I tried one of the chicken sandwiches. Was not great, I didn't finish it. My wife got the fish sandwich and she had to salt every bite, the fish and batter didn't have any flavoring. The service only brings out your food, that was fine. The atmosphere was weird. The workers had their kids there, which is fine, but the tables they took up left tables in what felt like a wide hallway for everyone to sit. We set near the back room that had an arcade game or something that was loud and would go off randomly. The place is fine, just not for us.

We have eaten at Burger Barn for several years. We stuck with them thru reopening after Covid. Not really sure what is going on with the quality of the cooking but our meal wasn't edible the last two visits. We addressed this with the people with were working & they acted like nothing was wrong & didn't come back to our table. Apparently, they are deep frying the thick cut bacon for bacon cheeseburgers & for BLT's. It was so bad it was like chewing shoe leather. We sure hope the owners see these comments & adjust the poor methods & address good customers with something besides, " I wasn't the one that cooked it". PS: I don't see a spot for photos

First time here and disappointed. Ridiculously overpriced. Lady at the front was rude and if I'm being honest, very lazy. Flipped the register over and wanted me to tip without even knowing if I got good service. She called us across the room to come pick up our drinks. Called us across the room to pick up our food. And then told us if we want refills bring our glasses to the counter. My burger was made wrong. Had mustard on it when i specifically said mayo. Even said mayo on the outside of the wrapper. Still wondering what I pre-tipped 20% for. Bad business practices.

So we had a really bad experience with this miserable lady named Megan. We spent over $300 on an order to only show up to hear how bad megan’s life is. Megan couldn’t understand why someone would order a potato or Mexican from a burger joint… idk maybe because it’s on the menu genius. This will be the last time we ever order from here.

Terrible attitude from the staff. Says "can't tell cook to add anything, she'll get mad". Really? Prices are ridiculous. 26$ for 2 burger baskets. Go to Thick and Juicy on 146. These people don't care.

Excellent food! Best fried pickles we’ve ever had. A touch too much salt for the onion rings but aside from that even those were amazing! Burgers were the best we’ve had in a long time. The spicy burger was a 100/10 best that’s ever been had in my mothers 50+ years. Interior of the building doesn’t smell the best but you can tell they’re trying to do something about it.

What an amazing place! We'll be back. Best burger ever. I had the "Oh Spicy" and it didn't disappoint. The burgers are beefy here. The buns are tasty, not just a holder for the burger. And the most unique variety of burgers you can imagine. We've been back a couple of times and I keep telling people about it. So good! It's a fun place too, with a few video games and cool decor. It's located around the corner from Donath's Garden Works (another amazing place you should visit their greenhouse), so if you're making a trip, make it a lunch or dinner trip to visit both.

After ordering online and arriving to pick up the order, I discovered that the order was not ready. This was explained as they had just installed a new system and they are having problems with it. So after delaying me further into our day, we finally sat down to eat. The onion rings were soggy, and the burgers burnt. One was supposed to be a double, and there was no double burger, which is a six dollar additional charge. The other was supposed to have extra bacon. No extra bacon. The wife called the business and talked to the manager, who then argued about it and said, " Slandering our business will not do you any good. " The manager who clearly must be a liberal does not understand how things work. This is called a review. She also said, " My review would not make a difference. " I have over 2000 followers across my blogs. I also have the ability to post comments here. The first thing about the atmosphere is that you do not want to upset people. The Burger Barn reaches an epic fail on this as they have a sign reading " No open carry." Which violates my Second Amendment rights. The other sign says, "best burgers and wings in town." Which is an outright lie. There is no restaurant critique of this place by any known food critique. I am just an old man with an old woman who has eaten burgers just about everywhere they can be eaten, including the Jalapeño Tree, Cecils Tree House, WhatABurger, and even a Cheeseburger in Paradise. I think we have a good grasp of what a good or great Burger is. The Burger Barn for us rates under a Dairy Queen Burger. That my friends are simply the facts. We enjoy the burgers. The onion rings are great. We didn't care for the pork rinds. My fries were very good but I requested that they were cooked longer than normal because I want them golden brown and crispy on the outside. The staff is always pleasant. We always enjoy reading the old time signs on the walls.

First time coming here looking for a place to find a decent burger. It wasn't very busy and we got our food fast but it was not up to what might be your usual standards. We ordered two burgers from here and the beef was undercooked like not very brown on the outside, bit pink and unseasoned by salt. Good ingredients handled poorly.

I called in some orders here twice. The woman who took our orders was so kind and patient, even when one of us, my mom, was kinda being a bad customer, lol. But the food was soooooooooooooooooooo fricking good. I'd give it a 100 out of 10. I had the bbq brisket baked potatoes and they were amazing. My mom had the same and my son and brother had burgers and fries. Y'all, try their ranch dip, it is so good. My son said their fries stayed nice and crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They didn't get soggy. These folks know good food, fast service, and excellent customer service with a smile!!

Stopped on the way back to Houston. Was a great decision! Our burger and fries were good. Fresh not frozen meat. Rare find in today's burger world.

Literally the absolute BEST burger we have ever had! Very sweet and friendly staff! The food, atmosphere and hospitality makes it feel like a home cooked meal!

Burger Barn is a wonderful hole in the wall that provides yummy food. I particularly like the bacon cheese burger with onion rings and a side of ranch. But, if I am hankering for a hamburger steak smothered in onions then that’s a happy go to, as well. I have never had anything there that I don’t like. Keep up the good work, y’all!
