Denny's Restaurant  in Baytown has been  our breakfast stop enroute to Louisianna off of IH35 on last three trips.   Each trip has been under Covid19 conditions.   Even though the Governor of Texas  removed mask mandates and increased occupancy to 100% on 10 March 2021,  Denny's is requiring employees and customers to wear masks & large sections of  their restaurant are roped/blocked off.   We are famliar with their menu and ordered from  their listing of items for  seniors  55 & older.   In my case, ordered 55+ one Belgium Waffle, one bacon & one egg with coffee.    All were perfectly prepared.  Checked out at the register for under $20 for two meals and two coffees.  The Waitress who served us did not charge  for refills.    My only deduction in my rating is for timing.   No receptionist in front to seat customers when we arrived, delay by  waitress to  take order & serve our table &  no cashier in front to take our payment at the register.   We had to ask for our assigned wet table to be wiped.

Ordered the country fried steak. When they brought it to my table they brought the white gravy in a bowl, it was like water. They had put some on the steak, but it was so thin. I usually don't send food back, but this was not acceptable. When they brought it back, they reheated my food, flipped the breaded steak overr so you couldn't see the soggy part from the original, watery gravy and the one peice I had originally cut. Food was subpar, but the wait staff tried to make up for it. To top it off the price was $2.00 more than the menu price, on my check.

Friendly staff, great service, and wonderful food. My husband and I appreciate this Denny's so much. The one by our home is not an option for us because the service is so bad. We decided to try this Denny's and are really glad we found it. It is conveniently located at the Flying J truck stop. Tammy was our server. She was great 😍.

Not worth it. Admittedly it was late at night but they had one table and I had a call in order. After having my order taken though an Indian call center, I waited 11 minutes before I was even acknowledged (I'm on my lunch break) finally got my food and it was very cold! Massive disappointment in quality and taste.

I've been here a few times at night and it's always ice cold in the restaurant so cold it's very hard to eat your meal. The cook left us basically for 20 to 25 minutes because he was outside smoking. The food was horrible my French toast was burned my husband's toast had not been toasted more than 2 seconds just enough to make it warm so it wasn't toast. I don't think that I will go back there because of this and every time we go it's the same way and there is nobody in the restaurant because it is late night so we were the only couple in the restaurant besides a man sitting at the bar you need to do something about your night cook he doesn't care when people get their food

The food wasn't that great at all. The Steak-melt was just thrown together. Two big pieces of bread with the steak and cheese all at the center of it leaving unfilled bread around the edges. The steak came in big chunks making it hard to chew! Better yet the sandwich wasn't even cut in half! The cook even came out to look at me from the entrance of the kitchen, but acted as if he was looking around the empty restaurant. I acknowledged his presence by nodding my head and saying hi, but he acted as if he didn't hear me. Good thing the waitress that was serving me made the mood a little better by offering me great customer service. She kept checking in to see if I needed coffee and we even had a conversation about different types of syrup.

Having a meal here at Denny’s reminds me of breakfast at home, always delicious!!. Especially with my families favorite server Ms.Linda. She greets us every time with a smile and a warm hug. 10/10 recommend

I order the same skillet at every dennys. This was the first time I ever looked at it and thought "where's the rest of it?" I love dennys, but this one was a disappointment.

My first omlete had burnt bacon,but staff rectified the situation right away! So helpful! James was awesome in helping me 👏👏

Had a great breakfast here, pancakes were awesome and more than I could eat! Our waitress was super great, courteous and friendly. Would definitely come back!!

I would have left more pictures but we ate every last crumb it was so good! Pros The staff was all very friendly. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Hostess and waitor was excellent. The food was so good! Perfectly seasoned. My steak inside my omelet was actually tender. And I loved the little tea pot they brought for my hot tea. The French toast was lightly browned and fluffy. Access is super easy from the highway and plenty of easily accessible parking. Wheelchair accessible and 4 handicap parking spots. Cons It was a little chilly in there but most people would probably love that!

Husband ordered a double bourbon burger but only got one patty so they brought him his other patty. Both of our burgers were cold but the fries were hot. Staff was very nice and apologetic, but did nothing to compensate for the food.

The waiter was lost thru out our entire meal, our food was delayed longer than should have my food was cold, there were maybe 4 other tables in use so it wasn't busy at all, when we walked we waited maybe 15 min before anyone came out to see if there were people waiting to be seated there were dirty tables thru out. The register area was super dirty i mean walking up to it you could see spilled liquid smudges thru out the whole counter area i did point it out to the gentleman he didn't say oh ok I'll clean it he just shrugged it off no big deal, about ten minutes after i arrived home u was sick to my stomach and so was my son I'll never eat there again

I like this location, we eat here every once in a while the food is usually great although what is considered eggs over easy varies depending on who's cooking but tonight it was great. Party of 9 tonight the server was great and we had a good time. Be warned that this location will give you plenty of time before your food arrives...

I give a two only because our service was impeccable. The waiter was fabulous. I had a BLT that was trash. I admit was starving so I ate half before I just could no longer chew the hard (extremely hard) bread. The lettuce didn't look great and tomatoes were bad. My fiance loved the melt sandwich though. But he will eat anything.😊

Was sat down given coffee then the waiter never returned asked someone for a refill she said just a min and sat down another customer and waited on him after 20 more mins finally asked if we could get a refill and service the new waitress was good but the burger was not and after all that I justed leave won't be going back here

Good move putting that doll Marissa on overnights. I feel taken care of when she serves me. She always puts a smile on my face. That cannot be said about some of your other workers. Now if the cold air problem could get fixed…

My husband and I love stopping at this location. Everything is always so clean and the staff is friendly. We love having Sarah, Marrisa, and Rebecca wait on us. Good job ladies! Sometimes the wait for food is longer than expected but the food itself makes up for it.

How the hell does it even to take just to make eggs even and sausage. The kitchen horrible they burned my family's food. The options horrible to choose. It took the kitchen to bring our food almost 30 to 40 minutes. Horrible Denny's. I recommend you not going here. I even told the guests who came in to not come in here and eat cause you have to wait for a while. And they let. So I suggest you not coming here.

This Denny's needs to get more wait staff and kitchen help. I had stopped coming because of this 3yrs ago nothings changed. Owner and management need to step it up. If you don't work your own to see what you can improve to make the customers come back. It should not take 45 min to get your order. Because of a large takeout order. The Denny's on Garth is small and busy and you get good service. You can do this too.

Got an online order here, it was ready within a reasonable time, the servers working we VERY nice. My order came out bagged up and everything was boxed up correctly. This is my favorite Denny's.

Another Denny's to avoid, was seated and table was dirty, 30 minutes later no one came to take our order. We could here the waitresses laughing and talking. I got up to see them standing in the back talking, joking and laughing. Wife and I walked out obviously they didn't want to work.

We visit Rebecca every Sunday for our little family brunch. We do our best to never miss her smiling face. She’s always on top she knows what our son wants the moment we walk in. Cups are never empty food it always fresh. Make sure when you come to this dennys you ask for Rebecca she will warm your heart and bring a smile to your face.

The bacon was cold when served, there was a hair on the plate with the pancakes and they were out of ingredients but instead of telling us waited until we asked about it and then said they were out. When we complained about the quality of food they gave us a drink for free. Will not be eating here again. VERY disappointed.

I usually end up here No matter what I'm craving for breakfast... because the smiles and hard work of Ms. Linda & Ms. Rebeca and the GM Dora make me it the feel like home... just like mom... if only Denny's would put hard long-serving workers names on the entry sign next to Denny's cause it really is their Denny's!!!

We stopped in after a long day. Husband's a trucker.we ordered dinner,which took a longtime. Sandwiches were good,but the fries were overcooked and crunchy. We waiting atleast 20-30 for a drink refill,then she only refilled my husband's drink,not my water. They weren't very busy,but seemed like they didn't have many people working. Not a happy experience.

Very attentive service and food was almost on point. Steaks are boiled before grilling. You can totally tell and it's never right. Take your time w/ my steak and eggs, I'm in no rush. I'd rather my food be right. Shootout to the young brother that did everything and gave some amazing customer service.
