My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for years and we've always loved it and raved about it to friends. But this last visit was terrible. We reserved two balcony rooms, neither room had a balcony. We walked into one room that had clothes and suitcases all over, they had checked us into someone else's room! The rooms smelled like weed. Our smoke alarm battery was going out and beeped all night. The shower door wouldn't close.

The African American lady with the fake hair that booked me in was rude. She got an attitude when I asked for extra towels. My room smelled like Marijuana. Naturally I thought it was cleaning agents housekeeping used but I complained to a hotel staff and she verified the smell was definitely Marijuana. There was a fight several doors down from me. The lobby side door locks and there is no access key to get you back in. Someone literally have to physically open the door each time to let you in. My stay was horrible.

Please be careful with Google Maps. It'll make you get into the next door hotel entrance or make you go around. Please go into the entrance right next to Goose Creek CISD Office. This hotel is renovated, safe, clean, with helpful staff. Had a surprise kitchenette with the double bed rooms! The only problem was that it was right at the door and not much wiggle room. Also, hotel stopped giving scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans since COVID. So be creative with the paper towels🤦🤷‍♂️ Overall, we had a great check-in and checkout experience! We'll surely make a second visit.

How on Earth does anyone give this even one star? This is the most uncomfortable experience I've had in a long time and the price was outrageous for the amenities. Never again.. never never... Forget the price quoted online they're going to charge you almost twice that for half the amenities. I requested a non-smoking handicapped room and got neither of those but a room at the far end of the hall on the second floor that reeked of smoke. It may take days for my back to recover from this uncomfortable bed and I still have half the continent to travel. Needless to say, I am not in a good mood.

Why 5 stars?... 1. Welcoming staff the minute we entered (and left). 2 Spacious and clean lobby with good breakfast (included). 3. We were upgraded to a sweet room that looked more like an apartment unit. 4. Room was clean and everything was functional 5. Price was under $90 6. The entire hotel smelled clean.

My teenage son and I lived here for 31 days while we were in between houses. Between the complementary breakfast, the cleanliness and quality of the rooms, the pool, the gym, the available necessities at the front desk, the location of the hotel….this place is a fantastic place to stay!! Highly recommend!!

This gets 4 stars because of what this hotel/extended stay markets itself to be. This is a two star hotel. It is not perfect, will not have the best mattresses, and there is no bell hopper. BUT the price reflects what they offer: decent room, a breakfast, all you can drink coffee throughout the day ,(even though it is made from a machine like at the gas stations- still surprisingly not bad), kitchenette, walk in shower, and a flat screen Samsung tv. Although I saw the spread, I did not get get a chance to experience the breakfast. I saw biscuits, gravy, waffle, sausage, eggs, and cereal. It was a various assortment. The breakfast is only open from 6-8 am. So wakey wakey eggs and Bacey! Let’s get down to the room. The room is accommodating. However, the walls are thin and if anyone is smoking in the next room to you- it will smell as if you’re rubbing elbows and drinking whiskey in the bathroom. I hope you brought your VIP pass. BUT- this is not nor does this hotel claim to be a three, four or five star hotel. It is a clean hotel and guests have the convenience to make it an extended stay. The appliances in side the room are new and they even offer a dishwasher and a stove (with pots, pans, dishes, forks). I’ve stayed at a few extended stays. Heck, there is one down the road from this establishment that is cheaper but….. you get what you pay for. They also offer decent discounts if you’re a reward member (free to sign up). It was 15 dollars off the nightly rate. The establishment offers free children’s mini library. They had legitimate book titles and not the Chic-fil-A sagas pretending to be a legitimate book. Anyone ever been to Goodwill and seen a price for $2 for the Chic-Fil-A book? Like ???? The gym has a cool machine that has multiple different types of body workouts the guests can do and has free weights and walking machines. There is a pool however that bad boy stays full. This place- I felt safe. The parking lot was safe. The downsides I saw: the employees should be more welcoming. Maybe a smile occasionally? However, there could be unknown issues under the surface as to why the employees are not smiling and their demeanors are ….. disengaging. This is not a fact. I’ve worked in the service industry for years. Every company has its hiccups. Or every employee has their own life they are stressed over, like the rest of us. The comforter had a fist size hole in it from the dryer over drying it.

Truck was stolen. How come there's no one at the hotel that can assist? The cops are waiting as well for the General Manager to show up. The Manager apparently is not showing up and I have to wait til tomorrow! This makes no sense. No one can assist or review cameras. If Manager not coming in who's gonna help? Put yourself in my shoes for a minute.

Great stay!! The room was clean, spacious, comfy bed, pretty features, and the whole hotel smelled of eucalyptus!! - I loved the kitchenette in our room as well! Will stay again next time I am in the area.

General manager will deny any claims against you if you complain. Housekeepers won’t clean rooms, if you ask. Audio and video recording admitting of wrong doings, will not issue refund. Do not stay here. Guest smoking and selling drugs out of hotel, staff will admit to knowing. GM will be rude to handicapped guests. Thankful I kept my own videos and photos of my entire stay.

The stay was okay...receptionist was okay...the room was good too. Had a little kitchen with a little stove, sink, microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is from 6am to 9am...the only thing I did not appreciate was the housekeeping person came into the room without a mask and was coughing 😒 that did not represent keeping the room "safe".

Breakfast was mediocre one lady does good while the other one doesn’t some of it was burnt, really repetitive, stayed there a week. Always a line for the waffle maker they only have 1. During the weekday breakfast is only a couple hours.(6-8) Room floors were dirty and were not stocked with supplies (dishwasher pods, paper towels ect).. only 1 fork lol They do have washer and dryers in a hotel but they are too expensive per load IMO

Had a wonderful stay. Ive stayed here twice. This time i got the King Suite and was very pleased with the cleanliness. If you arent a BW rewards member its best to enroll to get points for your stay and to get exclusive deals on the webpage or app. I want to give a shoutout to the Breakfast attendant who is friendly and keeps food available and station super cleab and to the front desk clerk Cassandra. She was very friendly and professional. Thank you!! We will be back!!

The positive s: Staff was very friendly, especially Bhumi. The hotel (1 Bedroom suite) room was reasonably good and clean, especially considering the cost. Mattress provided a good night's sleep. The negatives: No dish/pan/utensils in the suite kitchen and when I asked, I was told that due to Covid they didn't provide kitchen utensils unless requested by guest. Makes sense and no big deal but I wish it was made clear while booking. Staff promptly brought up the utensils to the room once I requested so that's a plus. No face tissue in the bathroom. Again no big deal but this is probably the first hotel room that I have stayed in that did not have it so was a bit surprised. Didn't try to request it from the front desk so not sure if they simply forgot to replace it....

The staff here are so kind, helpful and accommodating. My stay was made so much better by the staff. This place isn't a 5 star hotel and I am not claiming it is, just that I got more than I paid for. The room and common areas were very clean. When I walked in to the lobby, it smelled clean. I saw no bugs. If there was a bug problem, it was dealt with. The kitchenette had a 2 burner stove top, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer (about 5 feet tall & 1.5 wide), toaster & coffee maker. It did not have an oven or any cook or tableware. The pull out couch bed was not queen size as stated. But it fit both my daughters who are under 10.

This place looks like it is newly remodeled. It has everything that you need in a hotel. It was close to many stores and restaurants. I don't know if they have a pool because I didn't need one. I picked this hotel because I was taking a cruise the next day and you don't pay the higher hotel prices in Galveston and you are about an hour to the port from this hotel. It's cheaper and had more amenities. It's perfect.
