It started off well with a friendly welcome and an upgraded room due to our Hilton status. Buffet breakfast at $13 is very poor. We went at 9.15am Saturday (1hr 15 before buffet ended) and there were many items not replenished. Pastries and other items very poor quality. If you don't eat meat, no tomatoes or mushrooms. We have stayed at many other hotels that include this quality of breakfast at no charge. We are here for a wedding, the host left a welcome bag which he was assured would be placed in our room, it was not and it caused issues with us not knowing the itinerary. A letter was left under our door saying the carpets would be cleaned sometime in the next week, reception said it would not be today. We had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, but it is apparent that they came in and cleaned the carpet. We had private papers, computers etc. out. The air conditioner is extremely noisy. It is not too hot at the moment so we are able to do without it at night. It would be very difficult to sleep with it on.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hilton Head and unfortunately, I was left disappointed with my experience. Although the man working the front desk in the evening was very nice and welcoming, the room itself was not up to standard. One of the major issues we encountered was with the bathroom. The tub drain was in such poor condition that it instantly turned our shower into a nasty bath. This was quite unpleasant and definitely not what we expected from a Hilton property. Additionally, the sink in the bathroom also had drainage problems, which made it difficult to use comfortably. Another issue we faced was with the air conditioning in the room. Despite running constantly, it did little to help regulate the temperature. This, coupled with the lack of comfort in the bed, kept my wife and me up for most of the night. This was particularly disappointing as we were hoping for a peaceful and restful getaway, away from the demands of our toddler. Overall, this room put a huge damper on what was supposed to be a nice and rare escape for us. We were looking forward to a pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but unfortunately, the room did not meet our expectations. I hope that the hotel management takes note of these issues and works towards improving the quality of their accommodations.

I’m a frequent traveler, and hold the highest level of membership at both Marriott and Hilton. I say that to say that I truly enjoyed this stay and I stay in a lot of hotels. The staff was accommodating and very friendly even late at night. The food was delicious and way more and above than expected. The room was very clean and comfortable. I felt valued as a Diamond member at this hotel. I will stay here when I am in town for work going forward. The staff made the difference for me. Even when busy, they went above and beyond. Excellent Hilton Property. Thank You.

The suites were great, staff was amazing, helpful and nice. The only problem I had was the website, I couldn't put in my code, that was solved quickly as someone from the hotel reached out to see how they could help, I did not prompt them, they just wanted to check how they could make my family's stat better, they added the code to my stay. This hotel was wonder and we will definitely be back!

The first day we arrived, we were placed in a room with a view of the roof. The door to the room was stuck, and the a/c unit was awful. The next day, we reported our issues and were placed in a better room. The staff was nice and friendly. They gave us water during our stay. We didn’t pick this hotel. It was through a special travel offer through Hilton, and we had to sit through a time-share presentation the day before departure. I wished they had placed us closer to where the presentation was taking place. We had to drive 30 minutes to Coligny Beach. Places to shop and eat were very convenient. Other than that, it is not my place of choice.

We stayed here for my husband's 50th birthday, and it was the perfect location. The hotel was on the smaller side, which I prefer, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We got some great tips about what was in the area from the front desk clerks, Tim and Damon. They were full of personality and kept us laughing. They definitely made our stay even better. The room was spacious with ample clean towels and toiletries. I loved the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel that was attached to the shower wall. Very convenient! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the breakfast buffet in the lobby. If you plan to stay here, be sure to add that option since it really cost us a couple dollars extra. We did a few excursions on the island, so we were super happy that the hotel was located in a such a great spot. Easy access to get to all of our destinations. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

Venue was conveniently located with plenty of parking front desk service was welcoming and informative (+1). Room was comfortable size with clean linens and comfortable beds (+1). The bathroom had a strong smell of urine coming from the rusty floor drain (-1). Food from canteen was hot and flavorful for a fair price (+1). Housekeeping personnel were friendly (+1), but could not understand English so asking for assistance was futile (-1). Front desk 4:30 am shift, Ms.Sierra, seemed 'put out' by my asking for regular coffee for the Keurig, as all available were decaf coffees. I received a hateful eye-stare-and-hold as she had to lean over and retrieve the coffee that was actually beside her leg under the counter where she was already standing (-1). This is a Hilton Hotel, correct? I don't believe I will be joining the Points Club at this time. All in all, nice place to stay (3/5 *) for quick over night rest.

Overall, the stay was mediocre. The rooms were clean but seemed dated, with stale smells, inconsistent temperature control, and extremely uncomfortable bed (we could feel springs in the mattress when laying down). Front desk staff was friendly, but service at breakfast was slow. We are glad we used rewards points as the price was too high for the quality of stay.

Do NOT recommend!! Rooms need to be updated! We had a queen junior suite for 2 people & it was very disappointing. Dark, dingy & worn is the best way to describe it. TINY bathroom is in desperate need of remodeling & would’ve been miserably small if we’d had kids. The plastic shower surround was cracked in several places & an attempt had been made to caulk it. The shower curtain was too small so there was no way to keep it closed on both sides. The beds were very uncomfortable - they need to be replaced. Old carpet, furniture & decor - it just felt dirty & used. Breakfast was sad & the “waitress” stood with her back to the dining room playing on her phone. We stayed at 3 different hotels on this vacation - a Marriott, a Choice & this Hilton. The Hilton was absolutely the worst. I was so glad to check out & go home!!

The hotel needs to be refurbished, carpeting is old along with peeling wallpaper in halls. Bathrooms need to be renovated especially tubs. Due to Covid staffing is minimal especially in dining area. While checking out yesterday, one employee was disgusting with dropping the “F” bomb with every other word. When I suggested to another employee she silence him, she laughed at me. Totally inappropriate in any public setting for either guests in the reception, dining areas or other employees. This person needs to be fired. There are plenty of people wanting jobs. Will not be returning to this establishment again. Hilton Head is beautiful and you can find other hotels closer to the beaches.

I stayed a week ago and although the room was pretty typical, there was a slight hiccup with a brief water outage, and the pillows were a little bumpy; the staff were amazing!!!, very professional and accomodating, particularly Damon he gave me a home like familiarity, greeted and conversed with me so genuinely effortless he was a pleasure.

Overall pretty good experience. When I checked in there was no water to the hotel due to a busted pipe. The staff was very upfront, said they were working on it, and offered a full refund. I chose to stay and just went to dinner hoping it would come back on while I was out. I messaged the hotel through the Honors app, Tonya at the front desk was very responsive and kept me updated. When the water was back on, she sent an excited message back of YESS!!!!. When I spoke to her upon coming back she was in a great mood and I am sure quite relieved. Tonya was great and smiling the entire time! Kudos to her as I am sure it was tough navigating that problem!

Outdated rooms that smell like mold/mildew(or maybe it was old cigarette smoke?) Prices are up and Quality is down, sadly. Lobby and grounds were nice and well kept

Very clean and Theresa was super helpful and friendly. The have a very nice Peloton that was easy to use. I wish I knew about the garage parking upon checking in. The front entrance is stairs which made it difficult to bring luggage in. The breakfast was hot and pretty good.

Stopped here while visiting family in the island. Very nice hotel with amenities. Wonderful friendly staff with a short drive to the island. I'm a rewards member and it's one of the better destination hotels while traveling.

It was a good stay, clean rooms. The only advice I'd give is you probably shouldn't knock on someone's door an hour before check out so you can clean early. I felt rushed.

I stayed here for my birthday weekend and I have absolutely nothing but great things to say. I was greeted by the hotel staff with a Balloon and bday card and complimentary wine and breakfast. My room was very clean. Service was friendly and parking was always available.

Good hotel good price point in the middle between Bluffton and Hilton Head. Rooms very clean love the mini suite with thst extra room. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Ample parking either outside or under the hotel. Only thing that I was not a fan of was the breakfast. Very limited on the food and the price was a little high for what you got. Overall a nice place to stay for a short trip. Will say thst the Hilton hotel options are limited for this area.

Currently, my husband and I are both Crestline employees, and the rooms are not up to our standards or hilton standards. Toilet issues, bathtub issues, and in need of maintenance work done, other than the unsatisfied room the location, is good and cleanliness was up to standards. The breakfast pricing was a little unbelievable considering the hotels we work for Hyatt and Hampton offer FREE breakfast.

This was my 2nd stay here and in no way compared to the 1st visit. Part of it was the hotel, part was the change in Hilton policies in the perks for Diamond HH members. It’s an older hotel. Pool wasn’t heated, the breakfast options were minimal for my eating plan. Update: I received an email from the general manager, and she reiterated that my loyalty to the Hilton brand was appreciated. She credited me for an upgrade charge that should have been a perk. Still irked that breakfast isn’t free for Hilton Honors members, but I know people take advantage and the cost can get excessive. Having a “dining credit” towards breakfast is better than nothing. I’ll return in the future.

This place is one of the best hotels on the island. The breakfast is great. The hotel is clean. The only negative is they charge a 75.00 fee for dogs and we when we booked the hotel it said pets were welcome and fee was posted. We have two golden doodles who are highly trained and they exceptional dogs. Though we liked the hotel very much we are very disappointed that they did not advise us ahead of time about the charge. We will not be going back.

Wonderful gem in the Bluffton- Hilton Head area. The staff is superb. Kind and helpful! They actually have a restaurant on site which is so helpful! Most local eateries are closed on Monday and even Tuesday nights, so the Hilton brand is savvy to offer home cooked options on-site. We stay there anytime we are in Hilton Head, which is 4-6 times a year.

The most disappointing Hilton I have stayed at…the bathroom was not finished being clean - towels and floor mat not put up, just balled up on counter. Worse bartender, attitude toward the cook, which seriously impacted the atmosphere at the bar and clearly felt discriminated against. The bed was uncomfortable, and pillows are terrible. Will not recommend, nor return to this location, even though I travel here regularly for work. So disappointed in Hilton.

If you're staying off the island this is the spot to stay. Easy to get to the island and easy to get to the shopping centers. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. We did not like that they charged for a continental style breakfast, however there are lots of fantastic cafes for breakfast around so honestly not a huge turn off! We loved that they are pet friendly. We will definitely stay again!

The elevator to get up to the lobby was broken. We were forced, with all our luggage, to walk around to the back and take the elevator in the garage. The king room and the bathroom were small. And they charged $319.00. We took a drive the next morning and had breakfast at the Westin on the ocean. It was so pleasant we decided to check in. For only $241 we had a much nicer room with a view of the ocean. So disappointed with the Hilton Garden Inn on Hilton Head.

Room was great, nice and clean. Service was great, however the food at their restaurant, not so much. The pulled pork was dry and quite over microwaved making it hard. They have a great outdoor space to relax. Spent quite some time there instead of at the pool. Traffic is heavy going on and off the island which makes it a bit difficult getting in and out of the property. Will stay again!

My partner and I had a convenient stay at this location. The hotel is conveniently located near Hilton Head Island, so most places on the island are, on average, 15 minutes of drive away. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had no issues checking in and out, or getting to our room, using the app.

We got a 1 bedroom "suite" with 2 queens. I thought the bed was uncomfortable, my wife said it's okay. Sofa was hard to get out of when going from a sitting position to standing. Shower was cracked in several places, making the bathroom feel run-down and just yuck. Bathroom was small, old fashion style from like the 60's with single sink and the toilet between the sink and tub. Shower curtain wasn't wide enough to close both ends at the same time and even if it had been, it wouldn't have mattered because the shower rod sloped down from the wall to the center so the curtain would always just pull away from the walls and slide to the center - making it impossible to keep the water from getting everywhere in the bathroom. The A/C sounded like a truck engine running at idle - but kept the room plenty cool. Mini fride, microwave, TV's, and hair dryer were all fine. Room was an okay size and allowed us separate space (one in living room and one in bedroom). No room safe. Lightning was good enough. Decor was okay.

The front desk receptionist was beyond AMAZING. She went above and beyond to clear up the confusion we had from booking through a third party website. The bartender was also there and she was very friendly, too. The rooms are updated (it looks like they are updating more as well). They are a great size and have everything you need! Beds are comfy, parking was easy, pool was nice temperature, it's in a great location, and I am overall very pleased with our stay here. I will be recommending this location from now on and plan to return with my family!

A very nice hotel with next to island access. Still mainland, but easy enough to reach the island or the nice town of Branton. Honestly mostly just disappointed that as expensive a hotel as it is, I have to pay for "unlimited" continental buffet, because I really want 4 bowls of cereal and 16 slices of toast. But there are so many great and affordable breakfasts elsewhere in the area. (They offer free waters and I definitely took advantage every time we left and returned)
