A beautiful oasis in the middle of the Karoo. Fantastic Karoo lamb on offer, and some amazing mouth watering local home made products.

Great little Padstal just outside Beaufort West Food was not bad, milk shakes were really good we also had karoo lamb chops with chips and salad. Interesting items for sale in the store

If you want a true Karoo experience then this is the place to stop. Breakfast was fantastic and the owner was very friendly, the staff even better. Beautiful landscape

The Boeteka Padstal has everything you expect from a farm stall including preserves, biscuits, curios and a restaurant. We visited them as I was recommended to get some of their Karoo Lamb Chops for our "braai" (barbecue) that evening by a friend who comes from the area. Although the chops were frozen the lady helped us select the freshest pack (packed that morning) and they were very tasty. They are about 10 minutes from the N1 turn off so it might be just out of the way for some, but if you are looking to explore a bit you can definitely give them a try.

I was there during loadsheding. So can't say i would stop there again. Even with electricity. But the lady was friendly.

Nice stop off spot on the long straight road between Klaarstroon and Beaufort West. Interesting interior, I loved the floor but my camera wasn't working. Wide selection of Karoo delicacies, local crafts, second hand books and a warm fire on a wild, windy day.

It doesn't get better as far as typical South African Karoo farm stalls go. Try the dried fruit and dry wors. Nice Karoo atmosphere 👌

A perfectly quirky diner and shop filled with some excellent, exciting and unique products and gifts. Everything is very well priced and drinks cold and plenty. The food was tasty. The service was friendly and efficient. Pet friendly too for well behaved dogs on their lead. Great place to stop along your journey.
