Our brief December break was made perfect by a stay at 607 Bay. The emails days in advance of our stay prepared us for access to 607 and fine connections to Beaufort's weekend of holiday celebrations. We were greeted at the door by a cordial host, Kristin, who introduced us to the history of the house and festivities unfolding over the next two days. The accommodations were excellent: well-appointed and more than comfortable. Everything that we would need. 607 Bay is centrally located for all that Beaufort has to offer - it is all within walking distance! Sitting nearby the water, 607 offers stunning views and a porch that invites sitting, reading and quiet conversation. There was an Oyster Roast on Friday evening as part of Beaufort's Friday Inauguration of Christmas celebrations that will extend over weeks that await Christmas. We enjoy Beaufort, and we have found the place to stay when we return: gracious people with a house surpassing comfort.

607 Bay Street, what a wonderful experience. It has the best location of a hotel in Beaufort. Kristin & Lashanna were incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and accommodations were warm, inviting, and luxurious. The facility amenities were excellent and made our stay an exceptional experience. There is a kitchen where you can get coffee, snacks, and waters and there is a fridge for your leftovers. Very handy! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the inn is perfect! You are within walking distance to the unique shops, great restaurants, and the riverfront park. The bridge is right in front of 607 Bay, and it is fun to watch the bridge raise to let the boats go past. We are already looking forward to a return visit in the near future and further exploring the beautiful Beaufort area and history.

Could not say better things about 607 Bay! Beautiful historic home right on Bay St with water & bridge views. Make sure you enjoy a coffee & slow morning on the 2nd floor porch while you are there!

We have found our new place to stay in Beaufort! We loved that it overlooks the Beaufort River and is right downtown. We parked our car there and literally walked everywhere downtown. The newly renovated rooms provided all modern conveniences. Your rooms even have a touch key pad for entry. But we have to say we enjoyed most of all the friendship we made with Drake! He made sure we were most comfortable, shared the history of the unique building, shared some excellent places to dine, and just really treated Burton and me like family. It’s definitely a place you will want to stay.

Perfect in every way! Recently traveled to Beaufort while visiting Hilton Head Island and stumbled across 607 Bay and knew I wanted to stay here for our anniversary getaway trip. And I was not disappointed! 607 Bay is a beautifully renovated home in the Beaufort historic district. Significant thought and effort were put into planning and rebuilding the property. Guests have privacy of their own space while also having the opportunity share the view from the front porches with others. Additionally, the property is just steps away from a variety of dining and shopping options and the waterfront park. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming! We sincerely enjoyed our weekend visit and plan to return soon!

This is such a hidden gem in Beaufort! The location can't be beat -it's just 2 doors down from the downtown area and walkable to everything. The house is beautiful with great porches to sit and enjoy the bay. The room was nice and clean -we were particularly impressed with the size of the bathroom. I can't recommend this place enough and plan to stay here again.

Our first time at 607 Bay, and what a delight! The weather was perfect this weekend. This wonderful inn sits right on Bay Street across from the Woods Memorial bridge, and the river and marsh are beautiful in the sunlight at all times of the day. We had champagne , strawberries and chocolate waiting on arrival, and the room was fabulous. We stayed in Room 3, the Elliot. Plenty of space, comfortable bed, great bathroom and hot shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. Vouchers for breakfast. Everything is within easy walking distance to the Chambers Park, shops, businesses, art galleries and restaurants downtown. What a wonderful place to rest, recover and luxuriate. Highly recommended when you next head to Beaufort.

607 Bay is a perfect stay in Beaufort. We stayed in Room 6 which was spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the river, a very good bed, and a great shower. The Inn has been very nicely renovated and is situated perfectly for walking Bay Street and the waterside park or taking a walking tour of the historic district. We visited the Information Center a couple blocks away where we received lots of information to enable us to do a self-guided tour. I would like to return some time for a walking tour with a guide. I completely recommend 607 Bay!

Easily accessible by car and by foot. Great parking, easy mobile entry. Close to downtown. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the bridge and the harbor. The building was extremely clean, updated and well kept. There was a common kitchen area on two different floors as well as first and second floor veranda with seating and tables overlooking the water. It doesn't get much better than this place. Would definitely recommend to couples or folks looking for a quiet retreat. There is no front desk. However there is an attendant that you can contact any time of day or night. There is coffee and water available on both levels in the kitchen areas. Parking is in the rear of the building which makes it easier to avoid the traffic from the bridge. We had a great experience, thank you!

Beautiful, newly renovated, southern style home situated on the waterfront with a very short walk to downtown Beaufort shops, restaurants and activities. Our room was super clean and accommodating. The staff was very welcoming, and they make themselves available at all times. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I travel down to Beaufort.

Such a great find to spend the night in Beaufort! Right downtown on Bay St at the waterfront. Spectacular home over 100 years old. Beautiful original floors but everything else was totally new and updated. Very clean and welcoming. You could sit out on the front porch and take in the view too. Loved our stay!

What a relaxing and beautiful stay. We decided last minute to stop in beautiful Beaufort. 607 Bay Inn was awesome. The owner was so helpful. The room was perfect. Lots of relaxing places to sit and enjoy the view of the water. Snacks, coffee, tea, water. All available. Will definitely go back.

Quiet, relaxing room overlooking the river. Nice seating on the front porch to watch the world go by. Great bed and pillows. Individual climate control in each guest room. A shared kitchen with refrigerator, flatware, and glassware was a nice amenity. Appreciated suggestions for great restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

I wanted to do something special for my wife this year for her birthday. I was fortunate enough to have discovered Beaufort’s best kept secret for accommodations, 607 Bay. Everything from the beautiful surroundings and river views from our luxury suite, to the warmth and the gracious charm of the management. They could not have made Nancy and I feel more welcome. We can’t stop talking about what a great time we had this past weekend. We will definitely be making this our home away from home when ever we stay in Beaufort. We can’t recommend these luxury guest suites enough. The Elliott Suite was fabulous! We felt like we were surrounded by the historic charm of the Old South, but had every modern convenience at our fingertips. Thank you again for making this past weekend so special. Best wishes, Tex & Nancy Curtis Summerville, SC
