Great tour! We signed up last minute and jumped on. The guide was great. He knew a lot about the area. Tons if history in this area. It did start to rain about midway through and we were on the back seats that were not covered, but even soaking wet, I would do the tour. Definitely worthw the money!

Highly recommended! We had the most lovely guide (Janet?) and she was not just charming, but is a vault filled with information! We had reserved the tour months before and after our carriage tour thought we would hear the same history but what a great surprise! Being in the golf cart, she maneuvered to new areas including the National Cemetery! A big big highlight for us! Kudos!

We took the Pat Conroy’s Beaufort tour yesterday, and our tour guide, Kathy, was an absolute delight. She was knowledgeable and personable, and she clearly enjoyed what she was doing. She was fun! We learned many interesting facts and tidbits not only about Pat Conroy, but also about the antebellum homes, and the history and culture of Beaufort. Loved it! My wife and I and our two friends from Birmingham had a wonderful time. We visited the Pat Conroy Literary Center before the tour, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I could go on with the accolades, but suffice it to say that I highly recommend Beaufort Tours and Kathy. -Paul M

Great tour! Janet powered through a tour during insanely cold conditions. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Everyone in my family enjoyed it and learned something! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beaufort.

EXCELLENT tour! We learned more about Beaufort in one hour from Bill than we've learned in years attempting our own research online. Bill is really friendly, welcomes questions, and does an excellent job covering Beaufort's history extensively while peppering the tour with fun trivia about different movies that were filmed here (the Barbara Streisand story is the best!). The golf cart was comfortable and we felt very safe. We'll take any friends that visit Beaufort with us on this tour for sure.

We enjoyed the History and Movie Golf Cart Tour hosted by Bill on December 19 2022. Bill was a wonderful tour guide. He gave us lots of history but not dry facts just great stories & good conversation. He had a deep knowledge of the Beaufort area & you could tell he really enjoyed sharing it with us. I highly recommend this tour & would definitely take this trip again.

Kathy was so enjoyable. Her knowledge of Beaufort’s points of interests was excellent. We recommend to anyone visiting plus living in the Beaufort area to take advantage of the tour.

The Pat Conroy tour with Janet was one of the highlights of our recent trip to the Beaufort area. It is a can’t miss for Conroy fans like us. Janet also pointed out movie locations and provided general historic information. It was a chilly day and she even provided Cody blankets. I highly recommend this experience.

This tour was the best way to educate yourself & experience the historical district & downtown Beaufort. The 2 hour walking tour is full of rich history , beautifully preserved properties & homes. Ask for Kathy for your guide! She was super nice, very well educated & most of all- Humorous & Fun! Beaufort Tour guides are definitely history buffs, & it will blow your mind how many movies were filmed here and some of stories associated with them! I would recommend using company to anyone, but especially if you like to learn sboyt SC history!

Lawrence ran a fabulous tour! We enjoyed his humorous, detailed, and engaging narration during a gorgeous drive around Beaufort right before sundown. We are already thinking of when we can return for another option on their menu! The addition of the national cemetery was moving and a beautiful cap on a great experience. Highly recommend taking a Beaufort Tours tour!

Took the tour with Gina & had an incredible & surprisingly fun time getting to know the city & its history. She was so fun & I had the best little adventure all around the town getting to see so much on that golf cart! The city is rich with unique stories I’m so glad I got to learn about & even got lucky enough to be there on the day they did wreaths across America. 💙 I now have an endless amount of photos & videos to cherish my time since the city & the homes were so aesthetic & unique. ✨ 10/10 would recommend, it was my fav part of the visit !

This was a fun, informative tour. We took the Pat Conroy golf tour in the morning, and then the movie walking tour with Cathy in the afternoon. Her knowledge and enthusiasm of the Beaufort history was great! We highly recommend thus company!

Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area. He was very upbeat and so sweet to our 75lb pitbull mix.

Four of us took the Beaufort tour in a very comfortable van. Two of us were hearing impaired, so the outside noise or clop clop of horse hooves did not interfere with hearing the entertaining and informative history of Beaufort. This was the BEST possible way to tour for us, and our guide was very pleasant. Would recommend this affordable option.

Just completed our tour and my family and I absolutely loved it! KC was fantastic! Very informative, engaging and detailed. She even provided blankets to keep us cozy on our tour. Highly recommend!
