If you have to pick one place to eat in Beaufort, I recommend the Beaufort Grocery. They have a fantastic lunch menu. The brunch is incredible. The dinner menu is gourmet. Their desserts are Amazing! Everything is from scratch and made to order with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend for dates and special occasions.

Don't miss this spot!!! Great lunch! So good, we did it twice. I got the crab cake sandwich and the wife got the Cobb salad with shrimp, both times lol so you know it was good! Busy place so don't be in a hurry. The first time we went the service was very slow, especially the drinks from the bar. We went in the rush of lunch hour, so as expected for a good place. Worth the wait. The next day we went right at opening, there was a line to get in, but everything was super fast. Same items we ordered for lunch, but we got dessert this time. And the apple.pie is homemade and is the BEST I have EVER had. Period! And I'm picky! Lol 3 small scoops of vanilla ice cream to pair with the pie that they serve warm...whoa! Carrot cake was the other dessert we got, the icing on this was heavy on the cream cheese, very light on the sweet. Wouldn't order that again. From the bar there was a hibiscus margarita that the wife loved, had a couple. She initially ordered what I believe was a blackberry Borboun drink, she said it was too strong, so I drank it. It was stiff and delicious. This place won't disappoint!

One of the best eateries we have visited in a long time. We visited for our 24th anniversary and were truly blessed to have Donna as our server and were also impressed with Caroline who assisted with our drinks. The food was spectacular. We had the Lamb Chops and the Mahi with Scallops. The Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection and the sauce was perfectly balanced with the lamb. One criticism we saw was that the service was slow. We disagree! The service was paced for a wonderful time of conversation and to create a moment we will never forget. Thank you Donna and Caroline!

Very cute and quaint spot in Beaufort. The Beaufort Grocery has a versatile lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and wraps that hit the spot. I personally enjoyed the Queen’s Club with a little bit of extra basil mayo that sat right on a beautiful day filled with water activities. Highly recommend checking them out, service is great.

They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner. For lunch, the number 8 sandwich wrap is outstanding. From the bar, order a cucumber mule cocktail while waiting for a table. This place definitely made my list of favorites.

Went for dinner. Food was good enough. The evening specials sounded great but they were each $50. We found that to be too high a price point for this restaurant where the furnishings are somewhat dated, the woodwork is worn, and the noise level was too high. The desserts were a highlight. I remember going to this restaurant years ago when there were few others in Beaufort. Now, there are many other restaurants that provide better food, service and atmosphere at comparable or lower prices.

Our first visit to the restaurant was slightly disappointing. Our server was great and gave nice details about the menu. The space filled up within the first 30 minutes and became unbelievably loud. We couldn't hear the server when she came to the table, which are placed very close to each other. When our food came, I ordered the grouper and scallop on jasmine rice, It wasn't great. No seasoning and plain sticky rice. I was surprised as lots of the reviews were great. Not the fine dining experience we were expecting.

Went for lunch with about 20 people. Server handled our large party well. Small dining room, so probably not the best place for a large party. Also noise level high due to intimate setting. The brisket wrap was pretty good, but I was expecting the brisket to be moist and tender, but it was sliced. I got the pepper jelly on the side, but I had to use it for flavor.

Very nice restaurant! Friendly atmosphere! Our server, Timmy, was amazing! Informative and quick. I had the special of Snapper Tacos! So good! Highly recommend and would like to go again before leaving.
