Great food, BUT ..... I just saw a group of white guys who were eating here while on lunch, just walked out of here WITHOUT paying for their lunch. One of those guys (the one with the brown cap) took out his wallet asking another guy where to pay. I pointed to where the register was as I saw they were looking around. They stood near the door a few seconds, then walked clean out of there without paying. Wow, to take advantage of people like that. Well, we know they weren't Christians....

My o my where do I start this was the grade a best soul food I have had in forever. The portion was what like grandma's on Sunday know what I'm talking about big and the taste bring that head here and let me slap it... I had the smoothed pork chops with gravy over rice , mixed greens,pinto beans .. if you in Beaumont Tx and want your money worth and taste good and your belly full please I beg you go dine in or take it home but you must try the best soul food I believe right now in SouthEast Texas 😋😋😋❤️❤️❤️

One of the best local places to eat in Beaumont. The staff is lovely and the soul food is amazing. I recommend the beef tipsover rice, cabbage and mac & cheese- my go to order.

Great bunch of Ladies , that can throw down a Hella meal. They saw I had a cane so with not a word said I was seated and comfortable. Food is great and the portions are healthy . My friend really enjoyed his first trip there.

This is my first visit. Friends frequently get their food from this establishment, thus I thought I would try them. My orders were excellent. The plates are filled so generously that two people could share. My plates included turkey wings, beef tips and pig feet. The sides were excellent, including the Okra. I highly recommend this restaurant. My only suggestion is for them to work on not running out of cornbread dressing. I would have been disappointed but couldn't because the meal was still excellent.

Richard's is the best soul food in the whole SETX area. Multiple generations working together making the world a little bit better place. 10/10 will always recommend this place. Plates full of food, the tea is always amazing and the food seasoned beautifully every time.

Like walking into your favorite Grandma's kitchen! Plenty of tasty, comforting selections served with good portions and reasonable prices. The staff was welcoming and happy to see you. Dining area was clean and well used. Really enjoyed the meal.

I went yesterday for the first, and the food was AMAZING! I had the beef tips, dressing and greens. The ladies are very sweet. Its clean and I can't wait to go back next time I am in town.

Phenomenal service. Fantastic collard greens so good that they don’t need hot sauce. Coupion so good that you would slap yo mama! To top it all off, the best sweet tea I ever had. Don’t pass this place up!

Man.....this is the best soul food I've had since leaving New Orleans. Food is served nice and hot, service is awesome! I couldn't even each the whole plate. Definitely will be back!

This is down home cooking with a smile. The food is served piping hot (a main with two sides and bread). All the portions are generous and delicious. Pick your own seat, and dig right in. It might not be fancy, but it's all American and delicious.
